- I absolutely loved this part of the soundtrack from Waltz With Bashir. I wanted to create a longer and more paced version of this part of the soundtrack because I love it so much, so here is a quick attempt at that. All credit obviously goes to the original composer, Max Richter. This video is purely for recreational, non profit purpose.
I've been threw a state of depression lately, and everything I looked made me feel like I wasn't worth it.
I still feel it sometimes but I've been focusing myself in what I like and what I aspire to be...
Whenever I felt like a disgrace, I would hear this soundtrack and despite the theme of the movie it was in, it always gave me a scence of hope.
I've seen Waltz with Bashir in the my darkest times, but this composition got stuck in my head for so long, and I'm happy it exists.
For that I have to thank Max Richter and everyone who worked in it. It wasn't the solution, but it was my way of escape.
And for that I'm forever gratefull.
And now, I thank this extended version.
(sorry for my english, I just wanted to share this here)
"There is a crack in everything; that's how the light gets in."

What do you mean "sorry for my english"? That was written perfectly.
The score is really beautiful, from one of the greatest movies of all time. Waltz with Bashir is just one of the most powerful and emotional movies, which has a lot of unforgettable scenes.
Yes.
Especially the last part where the animation gets into realistic images of the massacre.
Waltz with Bashir is one of the very few movies that I have suggested to many cinema lovers.
@@bombayboys100 That last part killed me, it stopped being a movie, and shit got realer than I asked. Great movie!!
Waltz With Bashir is my favorite animated film
I really needed a good cry today. Thank you and Mr Richter for dragging it out of me, kicking and screaming.
It's so melancholy, yet with a trace of hope.
yeah, it feels like something terrible just finally ended…
I don't hear the hope
It’s sound like it’s almost going to become hopeful, then the violin starts.
"We stood on the roof and saw the sky was lit up. "
"With what?"
"Flares. Flares that must've helped them do what they were doing"
"Did you fire the flares?"
"Is that important? Does it make a difference if I fired them... or if I saw the flares that helped people shoot others?"
"In your state of mind at the time, it didn't really make a difference. You can't remember the massacre because in your opinion the murders and those around them are in the same circle."
"You felt guilty at the age of 19."
"Unwillingly, you took on the role of a Nazi"
I think I speak for all who loved the music of this movie, and love soundtracks in general
by saying thank you for making real the wish we all had in minds after this tune touched our ears.
This has aged well, in both personal and historic ways
I was given an assignment to write a movie review on this and I found this wonderful soundtrack (THANK YOU FOR THE EXTENDED VERSION TAERDRYN!) and while I kept playing it on loop, this music seeped into my head and somehow I found myself finally finding the inspiration for starting my first novel. Well, here I am almost done with my first chapter that basically describes my depressing and lonely life with tears on my face .
What movie?
@@whereareyoupeterpan9620Waltz With Bashir
@@joaquinvaleri7022 Thank you.
@@whereareyoupeterpan9620 I'm sorry, I hadn't seen your message earlier.
Forever coming back to this. Max Richter is one of a kind and this amalgamation of all the 'Haunted Ocean' parts is perfect.
I think deep down somewhere everyone feels this piece.
The depth, beauty, and tragedy is ever present. Overwhelming doesn’t truly describe this work. The emotion is perfectly brutal, and tears cannot be held back. Completed with the visuals from the film, and anyone with a heart and soul will be weeping. But even alone this piece is truly moving beyond comprehension
Just... Thank you for making my day better
Arthur Vialar needed music like this because words failed you?
I love this movie and this soundtrack is amazing.
Love hearing this beautiful song and imagining the peaceful beach in Adore.
At some rainy days. I go outside walking alone ánd Hearing this song
Lobair gaming m83 outro, 1493 conquest of paradise, bill conti training hard, jamin winans the frame, and John's walk. Thank me later
@@siwakeman6410 by the kiss - m83 also is super piece
I truly love this song. It’s such a simple yet complex piece whenever I listen to it, it’s just moves me.
I don't find anyone even close to Max in our this era. Thanks a lot to him who made us to be ecstatic via this unique masterpiece.
So beautiful, I want to watch the movie now.
Thank you for this.
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb lost my account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
I just watched the movie. Listening to this tune, I remember that scene on the beach of Beirut, that bittersweet feeling that filled my soul once more. I've felt that before, that melancholy - or I should say - *We've felt that before. The feeling that there's something more out there, that there's something of great importance, a concept or an idea that binds us all. Experiencing beauty is trully a transcendent experience, it brings us closer to the divine, to that 'greater something'. I think it's one of the most humane things one can ever experience in this existence
This version is even better! Good job :) And the last part is so beautiful...
oh yes....the last part just breaks your heart in two
Its like a requiem, a wash away sorrows. The film, the last scene needs this sequence. By the sea he gets calm and to a kind of mother. In the last scene all mothers have lost their childs. Never forgotten. Not forgiven.
The title I'd give to this picture is:
"We gotta be daily warriors"
and as you get older it becomes even more true.
When I listening to this song,I feel like I listen to my soul.
+Aleksandar Filipov did you see the movie?
+Beni Habibi "Waltz with Bashir" ?
Aleksandar Filipov yeah
Awesome movie
+Beni Habibi Bro do you know where i can find it online?
very beautiful music and a most excellent film. Thank you for all the hard work to creators of each!
Stop shooting immediately!
Go home!
Haha :p
Yup the scene with Amos was definitely one of my favourites :-)
Absolutely love this piece of music. Picture is so amazing and fitting too.
beautiful theme. excellent variations. very well edited together :D
C'est l'un des immenses chefs d'oeuvre de la musique mondiale.
Thank you very much for taking your time and make this great mix.
I have seen the movie yesterday, and I spent today thinking of nothing but the movie. Nothing at all, but the movie, throwing me into an existentialist crisis.
All my thoughts to genocides victims, and especially the Sabra and Shatila massacre victims, the main topic of this movie!
God, this is beautiful
This is just beautiful.... thank you
I'm standing on the top of a tall building that luckily survived all the destruction in a relatively good shape. I might or might not be the last person alive on the surface of Earth. A stray teardrop leaves my eye as I see another house collapse, leaving nothing but dust and smoke after itself. The sky slowly gets covered by clouds, dark ones, that came from the cities' burning hell that we created. Soon I will perish. Nobody is going to remember me.
@@araiq That's a good thing..? :D
i have watched that movie and i fell in love with it, and the moment my history teacher told the class we are going to do a project on whatever subject we choose i knew instantly that im going to do it about the "first Lebanon war" that war changed the entire way the Israeli army works and its the most interasting israeli war in my opinion i am proud to be israeli even though not everything we did was right but im hoping we will continue to exist and im going to join the Paratroopers and serve my country as best as i can
Best of luck to you my man, As a Jew, I can proudly say, I stand with Israel.
The real music from real mastero .This can b listened forever.infinity is a small word for this one.i want to express more n more about but words are not enough.we could experience this exceptional masterpiece only because of Max is with us .Hundred thousands salutations. May he live long
thanks a lot for this version. I guess you were pissed off with short version in Repeat mode :D. Anyway, thanks a lot!
Another masterpiece.. 🙏🏽
A very moving piece!
Its' morte than an simple extended version, it's a good remix ! And for that I say thank you.
Good job! i really love this song.
I don't know why but it feels like it was inspired by Spiritualized Broken Heart both of them are beautiful
After reading your comments, I listened the song and I am very much convinced that Haunted Ocean seems a version of Broken Heart.
I am an Arab but that's won't stop me to love this music.
This I don't understand. It's an Israeli film but it sure as hell doesn't make the Israeli army look good.
Christian Wright my friend, I understand but the power of the movie is not to show how evil was the IDF, but also it show an experience that can happen to anybody, lost your memory, the hero of the movie made this movie as a therapy to get back his lost memory which is really originals besides the subjects that were talked in the movie.
It's an Israeli movie, I know that, that's why I mentioned that I am an Arab.
Exactly, for me this movie is not so much about a war than it is about war in itself - its psychological violence, the power of mental transformation it holds and its after-effects. It is an emotionally shaking movie. I will remember the final scene for the rest of my life
IDF WASNT THE BAD GUY THERE ,this movie was created for israelis not for people who dont know about the war! think about it for sec the movie didnt even showed once the bad things that the enemy did , even when they showed boy shooting rpg the film made us the viewer feel bad for the kid who was shotted after he dont that . in reality the plo taked over (its was terror group back at that time) labnon and israel had to enter to to expel them (and after all they did it) the people who killed the inosent people in the camps were christians.
The Waltz with Bachir is the saddest film I've ever seen and this song is too sad 😭
excellent extended version
Repeatedly listening couldn't get me satisfied
Amazing work
la musique du film contribue à le rendre magnifique . La valse de bachir est formidable d'humanité
This is amazing!! Great use of your skills! I am working with this in background. God bless you.
Richter, always impressive!
repose en paix graziella ma cherie !!!!!!!!!!!!!! dans mes bras ..... pres de mon coeur avec c ette musique pour l eternite .
Listening to Richter, I hear Bach, Wagner, I remember Schiller and Rosenberg. Come back to life, German - you need the World! Peace Council says this
the first part is so good
И в сотый раз- до мурашек❤❤❤
אלימות היא רעל. רק סליחה, דיבור ותקווה הם נוגדן.
Violence is poison. Only pardoning, diplomacy and hope are the antidote.
u made my day!
thnx mate!
This song should have been the battle song for the soldiers who took over Okinawa. My they all RIP.
While this haunting music was for a movie about the Sabra and Shatila massacre in Beirut of Palestinians back in 1982, we are witnessing today in 2024 a genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
May God be with all the victims, and may they go all to heaven!
I am tired of people claiming they are here with me, i can hear others talking about how its a group, its them...and i am on my own and everyone else trying to dilute the petty things i have whittled down to browsing online and those others who find amusement in it going on about how "it us, we are with him, send all your support here" breaking laws, wasting time, police drive around pretending to be doing something. As though it is progress but all it is is stalling and hindering anything real from getting done. The support for their activities comes from entertainment and drugs. Melbourne Australia "world of enfertainment" I am in NSW on my own and they simple mirror and amplify but then just dumb everything down and play it as they go and it runs aground because they only have the first page. But the book I haven't shared goes a whole different direction so now they have to play keepings off to keep people from finding me on my own and the rest of the book. Killing people, diverting them, blocking communications, post, direct contact. The whole nations security and policing and courts going to waste to play this game to maintain some fraudsters image. Like some crap that won't flush and Australia's agenda is to keep the shit from sinking.
WAR IS HELL
Great!
Awesome :D
1:00 is incredible
linda musica
I couldn't sleep tonight. That happens sometimes. A darkness covers me and spreads throughout my body. This music tells me this process. completely dark. Sometimes I question my life. what am i doing I am far from the person I want to be. I guess I will always live dreaming. I guess that's how I'll end my life and when I die I'll hear this music
Moving on is an excuse. If it means to you, buddy! don't give up ever.
Now I remember where I was that night, during the massacre...
Thank you so much
There are always less than one% upset minded people like the guys who disliked this exceptional composition
WAR
Last month, I went to the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila in Beirut, Lebanon.
It was atrocious and miserable. I couldn't get this music out of my mind.
Adore bring me to this
You should do something with the Arrival score.
Megszakadt a szívem rajt. 😭
Adore 2013!
Have seen the movie ADORE about 5 times, mostly because of the fantastic music. Finally read the credits & found Mr, Richter & that he was the composer of The Haunted Ocean 1-WOW-what a beautiful & eerie sound.l
Loves from Turkey.
Excuse me sir! Can you please tell me where you got this amazing picture? I would really like to have it in as great resolution as possible.
+Greg0516 Hey friend, sorry for the late reply. Here is the picture: i.imgur.com/DeQtIQU.jpg
I had cropped the top slightly to hide the watermark for the video, sadly cannot find a version without it. Hope this helps nonetheless!
+Greg0516 That picture looks fairly easy to make, if nothing was photoshopped, then it looks like a girl with a helmet with a rifle standing in some farm area after it rained, with a black and white filter over the picture, it is so easy, all you need is a iphone with Instagram downloaded.
+Edward Elric I don't think that's a girl, but even if it is, I still can't even begin to list how wrong what you said is.
+Taevus thank you good sir!
