  • Reaching Grand Champ in Rocket League is an achievement that most, if not all, players strive for. People will grind for hundreds to thousands of hours to earn their spot in the top 1% of the player base.
A common theme amongst players that hit Grand Champ for the first time is that they then step away from ranked for a while. This is for fear of losing the rank that they fought so hard to earn.
In this coaching session, I worked with a player who is struggling to get back into Grand Champ rank. We reviewed his gameplay and discussed his habits as well as essential tips for reaching and keeping Grand Champ rank.

Wow great vid. Agreed with everything you said and gave very good examples of what to do and not to do in common situations that people Gc and below find themselves in. Keep it up

Of course! Right now it’s luck-based. You will have to join my discord and look at the channel that says “coaching times” and hopefully you get lucky!

I got gc2 in season 10 and stopped grinding for a bit and for some reason i feel like the players right now in champ 3/2 maybe even 1 have been very inconsistent in terms of player to player. One game you go vs what seem like plats and the next your teammate is afk and then plays like a diamond. Or someone is just playing “for fun” and just lets goals go. Solo queuing rn is a mess and idk if its people getting boosted or people smurfing or both 😂.

Rocket league is a mess lmao. Can’t win em all just gotta play your best every time or find a teammate to queue with

I'm glad for 5:34 because I was recently doing the right thing here and was being told to do the wrong thing. I could've been swayed into "correcting" something I was doing well on, but hearing this advice will keep me on track. Also, it was a 3s match and I knew my 3rd was back covering goal, so the concern about being aggressive was being considered.

We’ll keep in mind it’s all situational but I’m glad you’re willing to get aggressive 💪
