It's amazing to see how Vertigo has changed and now most of the players have accepted its place in competetive mappool. I'd love to see a video with all changes to the map from 2018 to 2020

I got global elite in the good ol' vertigo, now I am mg1. A lot of things have changed.
Haha I know that feeling. Vertigo is my favorite map all time. My crew was famous on vertigo. Everyone on LEM to Global knew each other. We were a great community. So much fun if you know all the smokes and wall bangs and other things. I am afraid the new vertigo will not be as good as the old one but at least I get a chance to play it outside from the faceit group

Hey 3kliks, i just want you to know that i've watched all of your videos on all 3 of your channels.
"Half landing" or "tread" are terms you could use for the stairs.
you can actually drop from the elevator shaft without losing hp by landing on the wooden board with the arrow, accidentaly did it once.
IIRC, crouch-walking off the top ledges and landing while standing up should save you the minor hp loss on the vertigo drops throughout the map Phil. You probably already knew, but would be good information to add in the video I think.

This map was always my favorite map to play, even ahead of maps like Cache, and I am beyond happy that they're bringing it back, and with changes, too! I cannot wait to play the full map in competitive mode when it is released; it'll be one of my happiest moments of my gaming life.
Ik this doesn't relate to the video too much but: I just want to say that I genuinely get excited whenever one of your videos comes out and your content never seems forced or just out to make money. You are such a great, humble and honest person and content creator, and I'm surprised I've only noticed this after doing a marathon of your "best of" videos and half of your entertaining videos. Thank you Philip for the amazing content!

The version in the game has had its vscript fixed with the recent update, so normal 5v5 does work. Also, yes, bombsite A being available in the future for Wingman does indeed seem to be the likely case as seen in the decompiled bsp file.

CT spawn changed a little bit too, they moved the spotlight more right, so u aren´t able to see in the doors now

The fact that there are a few large changes to the A site makes me feel they're definitely planning on releasing the full map again in the future.
You can see through one of the textures on this map still. Get boosted up to the boards near CT spawn, jump up to the white boxes. Jump and you can see through the white ceiling where Ts come from. Must only be textured on one side

Vertigo was always one of my fav maps. Just bcs if all the boosts and tricks you could do.
When I first found vertigo in 1.6 I fell in love with falling off Sky scrapers :}
1. Load up offline match
2. Console - changelevel de_vertigo

On the old version you could use your teammate to boost on the lights at CT spawn, but now they added a wall.
there was also a quite sneaky boost spot on the yellow work light in CT spawn that has now been removed :(
I miss having vertigo and aztec in the competitive mappool, they were fun to mess around on with friends

Also there was boost removed from ct spawn where you could see b site and the corridor leading to ct spawn. +There was a big blue pipe added next to t spawn to obstuct vision to the site borders.
aWESOME i LOVED THIS MAP AND THE OTHER LEGACY MAPS THAT GOT REMOVED, SOME GREAT CHANGES TO VERTIGO CANT WAIT TO PLAY AGAIN.

At 2:30 ish, the wording you were looking for was "the landing is higher up"

I completely forgot they actually changed vertigo’s layout before the visual changes, I thought it was both at the same time
You missed one change, there was a construction light that you could jump on and with a teammate, boost to overlook players that are near the red box (but was white at the time), that area is blocked by a larger wall so you can't see it anymore.
Philip: 'Raised'. The word you're looking for.

you missed two things philip. From T spawn if you go up the stairs and onto the railing you could see the metal part on site, that is now blocked off in the new version. They also blocked off an overpowered boost in CT spawn. if you boost someone on the light you can see a lot of the map

The middle bit of the staircase is called the landing.
The middle section of this staircase has been elevated
"the midpiece of the stairwell has been raised" sounds like a better way of saying it
