The BenQ GS50 is a small DLP projector featuring a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens, support for 1920x1080p native resolution, an aspect ratio of 16:9, and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1. A 24-bit, high-brightness LED light source with 16.7 million colour reproduction capabilities powers the projector's core. With this projector, the projection size can reach up to 100".
Integrating BenQ’s proprietary CinematicColor, the projector features picture modes with up to 98% Rec. 709 colour space for authentic colour reproduction. The GS50 features autofocus, auto vertical keystone and 2D keystone that let you project even from a side angle, if required.
With two HDMI 2.0 inputs that support HDCP 2.2, a USB Type A connection for media playback, a USB Type C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, and support for PD or Power Delivery of up to 45Ws, the BenQ GS50 offers flexible connectivity options.
The BenQ GS50 also integrates a built-in 2.1-channel speaker system featuring dual 5W midrange tweeters with a powerful 10W woofer, a DSP chip and Bluetooth 4.2. This delivers a 270-degree sound output with detailed vocal clarity and a deep bass output. Additionally, there is also a 3.5mm audio output jack and 2 channel HDMI Audio Return Channel or ARC to connect to a compatible external speaker system of your choice.
The GS50 is built tough and lightweight, with an ergonomic design for active, rough lives. It has an IPX2 splash-proof film coating and is double protected by an outside resin finish that is drop-proof and an inside layer of TPU that is 1 mm thick. Everything is contained in a high-end, two-tone colour design option.
One of the most unique features of the BenQ GS50 projector is the built-in battery that delivers up to 150 mins or 2.5 hours of movie runtime. This makes it a great option for outdoor applications.
