It all started with a obligation to get education but School wasn't all about the Knowledge we gained but Moments and Memories we can never regain. I can't believe It's almost over, I'm just few steps away from the last one. But If I were given a wish, I'd probably rewind back to 2016 and pause it right there.
Class 12 or call it "Only if you get good marks, you will get a college seat" year. All these years we only bothered about finding a seat for us at the classroom's most sophisticated spot. But here comes reality hitting us harder than a hammer, LIFE IS JUST HAPPENING! As we stepped into the classroom that day, I didn't realised that was my 'LAST FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL' but later as so many 'one last time moments' came ,something hit my mind and said that It's time for that goodbye I didn't want to say.
Last Sports Day, Last Annual Day, Last Games period, Last lunch period, Last Assembly, and the LAST BELL.
Well I wasn't really ready for this but does time ask us if we are before taking us to New Years. The only reason I'm so passionate and emotional about this year is because I learnt the Best of lessons, had the best of friends and made the best of memories and priceless moments I can't rewind but so badly want to.
Talking about friends, let me be honest. We are the not the type our teachers really loved but definitely the ones they will miss. Maybe Marks were everyone's first priority this year but Fun was always on our bucket list, no matter what. Be it making the best memories or staying beside through the worst moments, we always had this wonderful friendship that made our lives amazing. What else could have kept us this strong ,But Our Cray-Cray yet most caring friendship! Having people with the same mental disorder is priceless. And To see friends turning into a family, who love each other beyond imperfections is not that easy to find. Hard times were not hardest for we had shoulders to lean and What broke us couldn't destroy us for we had each other! Who knows what the future holds, Seasons change, People change but does memories really fade? Does it not bring back the changed hearts! I pray not we stay together forever but wish, pray and hope that this friendship stays STRONG even when we stay apart finding a spot for ourselves in this huge world.
Endings are not always sweet but bitter , just to understand the value of new beginnings. And the one ending, most of us would never want to face is the 'End of School life' because we are not really grown enough to accept change. Parting ways is a part of life and it is inevitable. But before it all ends, it's time to have a grateful heart for all the wonderful blessings we received through this institution.
And then one day when we come back, we sure will be someone great because we are JESSIANS. We will miss you Home, sweetest Home.
