Hey :) It really is a fun experience, and it is possible to do at several places in Japan. becoming a maiko for real is something that is very hard to do, especially for foreigners, but it's definitely an exciting world to learn about and study :) 私も日本と日本語の専攻だ！頑張ってね！
this would be so fun! I am from America and hope to visit Japan and learn the culture! I hope to one day be able to come here and step into the world of Maiko! can they understand other languages? I would be afraid neither one of us wouldn't be able to understand each other.
most aisian countries learn some kind of foreign language in school. I would assume they would at least understand some of it if not speak it
