So they do actually make for a viable food source in a survival situation. Why did I feel the need to explain this, and why is this a recurring topic on this channel?
To be honest a colony of cockroaches isn't really hard to make but you do have to feed them. You'd likely need a garden as well to get food and know what regular plants they can eat that wong make them poisonous

The game was ok. It lost its sense of dread during chapter 3-5 cuz nothing scary happened. It just became a "how do I get out of here" game until chapter 6. They need to go back and add some stuff so it's not so dull in the middle of the game.
I've got a 4-in-1 microwave with an air fryer mode. As long as I can keep that thing powered eating bugs is no problem. Just fry them, they'd probably be good. Grind them up and mix them in with some flour (assuming you still have some) and make bug bread (it'll make your flour last longer since you'll use less of it).
I don't know what it is, but in "Backrooms" games that have this kind of photorealistic looks, in the "Pool Rooms" with some of these games, I can literally smell the chlorine, and feel the mugginess in the air. I can literally almost feel the water being warm, like in a heated spa when my character walks into the water. There's just something about these photo-realistic pool rooms that makes me feel and smell them.
Bug farming is actually super efficient in terms of land-use, water-use, emissions, and labor-calorie ratios, theoretically. Would legitimately be a good post apocalyptic option. Also good pre-apocalyptic as an ecologically non-harmful and efficient way of farming some nutritious high protein food.
I'm with Mato. Work would sometimes send us to this overnight job a long way off and we'd have to stay in this "green hotel" which basically means all the lights are dim and there's no hot water. They had this lavender soap that they would push super hard because it was locally made by some dirty hippy commune nearby. It was the most acrid, acidic, chemical smelling shit in the damn world. Like, I know my flowers and flowers do not smell like that. It was horrible.
