I like that they have a sports bar. While you were on that cruise the NHL playoffs were on. I'd be in there everytime there was an Edmonton Oilers game 🏒😄
You're on a maiden voyage you have to expect it to be a little bit slow. Also if you don't like waiting that ship is only 4,000 people don't go on the wonder which holds like 7,000
A great ship review! It really does remind me of Ceasers. So much food! So many restaurants! Since you and Mum have cruised on so many different lines, I can see why you thought this was not as nice as other ships (because you have showed us), but for a first timer it is nice enough. It’s very dark inside though. They used a lot of dark browns/gold/tan and those colors just aren’t very bright. Pool was pretty small for the amount of passengers they carry, but there is probably a reason for that. So people don’t get all drunk and crazy. Can’t do that in smaller pools. I really liked all the places to sit and just relax on the decks when at sea. Big couches, or lounge chairs, some sort of seat for whatever your mood. Maybe they were short staffed, hence the wait for your food? That was a very long time to wait for someone to even show up to say hello and bring water! 40 more minutes to get your meal. Hopefully they speed things up as this ship does more cruises. Thanks for doing all that videoing and editing Bob. As usual you did a great job highlighting all of it. It looks so relaxing to just find a lounge chair and hang out on the deck and just enjoy the serenity of the sound of the water and warmth of the sun. I agree the food was not as impressive as other ships you have been on. I think it is just because it’s a Carnival ship. I really liked the one you were on for your New Years Eve cruise. Not sure what line that was but it was a little more fancy and better food. Look at me judging cruise lines and I have never been on a cruise! I live vicariously through you and Mum. Thanks for always taking us along. I love the relationship you and Mum have. It’s wonderful to observe the love you guys have. Thanks again!

What was the stateroom #? We’re trying to book and when looking at pics the room looks much smaller. Wouldn’t mind the room you guys had. Nice vid! Thanks!
Great review Bob. I panicked watching you get stuck in the water slide. Seeing that room it looks quite dated for a new ship. It actually reminded me of a Greek house in the 80s haha.

In order to boost its U.S. ship capacity, Carnival Corporation decided to transfer the Firenze to the Carnival Cruise Line brand under a new concept called “Carnival Fun Italian Style”. Carnival did the same thing with the Carnival Venezia, which was also originally operated by Costa Cruises. 🛳️

yes CLUBLANDS, they had two formal nights. the second evening onboard and the evening of the cabo port of call.

hi SBLOOME - mum here. no - i've never gotten ill from ship food ever. but i do get turned off by badly prepared food though - yikes!
They have that elevator system for the employees back of house at a casino I worked at off the strip. It’s not a good system at all!
