That seems to be about par for the course here lately
Just ordered one. They are nice guys at Silencer Central. Only thing to be mindful of is that the salemen do try hard to sell you stuff you do not need. I was looking for an AR suppressor that can occasionally go on an M1A and they first suggested the Banish 30 Gold (which is $1600 before tax stamp). I asked for a different option and they recommended me a Banish Backcountry, which is for hunting. If you call on the phone instead of going online, be prepared to say no a lot lol. An inexperienced person can wind up spending way more than they should.

Two years ago, I ordered the Banish 30 gold, .45 and the .22. Last week I ordered 4 more, Banish .223, Obsidian 9 , Wolfman and the Nomad 30 TI. The process the second time around was so simple, since they have photo, fingerprints and my personalized gun trust already..............now the long wait for a year.

Man I was waiting for mine for over a year. I finally got my form4 approved Apr 4th. Silencer central have been great and handled everything for me.

Like you I have all positive experiences with SC. No bad things to say other than the prices as compared to their competitors. Other than that awesome to deal with!

Thanks for the video. Mine is almost here, it got cleared from the ATF a couple weeks ago. I didn't do the E-form or it might of been here sooner. But yeah, Silencer Central did everything they could do to ease the wait time. Very excited to get mine

How do you use a QD with a direct thread? Newbie here..
You would need a QD device attached to the muzzle of your firearm in addition to the suppressor. This would allow you to mount and dismount the suppressor with an existing muzzle device in place, eliminating the need for a thread protector when the suppressor isn't mounted. Hope this helps!
