Wow! Thank you very much for your kind words! 🙌🏼 Are you thinking of getting one? I hope it was useful or at least entertaining! thanks for watching and taking the time to drop a comment as well! I appreciate it! 😁🙏🏼
Jorge, a great review and presented very well too. I have had my X100V since release in February. It's a fabulous camera for documentary, street, and minimalist travel, as well as my every-day camera. The camera is both quiet and discrete in operation, and the rangefinder-style body unlike a DSLR-style body does not draw undo attention. This camera is a great companion to my X-Pro 2 and my X-T3. Happy shooting!
Hey I'm glad you're a x100v owner as well, totally agree with you, best minimalist/travel camera. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a kind comment, I appreciate it :)
Glad you liked it! It was a lot of work haha 😂 so I'm glad it's useful for someone out there! Results matter, but the experience is equally important in my opinion, if not more important, after all we take photos because we love the craft, and experiencing the craft should be what matters! Thank you for watching and for taking the time to leave an incredible kind comment as well! Means a lot, John! 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Thank you for the good review Jorge. I had the X100T years ago. I created most of my favourite images with it. It somehow has magical photo making qualities.
It really is! The "Eterna" film simulation is great for video, don't really have to do a lot of editing or colour grading, it's great right out of the box. The X100V is not necessarily the best video camera, but the good news is that the "Eterna" profile is available in most modern Fujifilm cameras as well! Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts as well! Cheers 😁🙌🏼
Absolutely brilliant review! Please keep doing your videos. Had a 100T few years back and I still regret selling it. Maybe this would be a good companion for my x-t3...
Thanks for you kind comment! tHE X-T3 is an awesome camera too, but the feel of the X100 is definitely different, having a X100V as a companion to your X-T3 is not a bad idea! 🤔😂
Good review. I use the F currently and am continually inadvertently hitting the D pad or Q buttons. I love the camera aside from this. I had an X-Pro1 previously and found that to be just the same. The V will suit my grip far better. Small form cameras always seem to have this issue and I welcome this advance in the X100 series
Totally agree! the grip did feel better than the X100F, and without a d-pad you could potentially handhold it better without the need of an external grip, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of having a small, portable, everyday carry camera to begin with. That, plus the sharper lens, weather sealing, and faster operation make it a great camera or a great upgrade in my opinion. All of these are quality of life updates tho, the overall image quality is not significantly different from the X100F, just keep that in mind. Thanks a lot for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts as well! And keep me posted if you do get one 😂 Cheers! 🙏🏼✨
I have Canon numeric cameras and many old argentic cameras including two Leica M6. I like using them with 35mm lenses and that's why I bought my first Fuji, the X100V, mainly because I read they were weatherproof. I'm very pleased to got it, it is simple to use and the result isnt bad compared with my numeric Canon. The look is pleasant too and making street photography easier.
Very nice! How do you compare the feel of the m6's vs the x100 series? I want to give Leica cameras a try in the future. I hope your x100v is treating you well! Thanks for watching! and thanks for leaving a comment as well, Cheers! 🙌🏼
@@Jorge-Perez The M6 needs time and making choices depending the kind of pictures to do, as the choice of aperture, hyperfocal or not, .. they are really very pleasant to use. But I understand that M4P are more difficult to find, as the M6 are light and fragile. Aside I have a IIIc that is still in perfect condition and never sent to the "Maison du Leica" in France.
Very well done video. Thanks. I have ordered the camera to be my carry-all-time camera. Suggest you might wish to update your gripes, as the new firmware update now permits the use of the internal ND filter for video also.
Thanks, will do! I hope this was helpful or entertaining! Curious to hear back eventually about your x100v and thoughts as well! Thanks for taking the time to watch this and leave a comment as well! I appreciate it man! Cheers! 😁🙌🏼
The struggle! haha I remember going through that as well, my first one was the x100t, I got it in black, it matches everything in terms of style, and looks great. Then the x100f was silver, and after that I can't go back to black, people seem to respond a lot better to the silver model, and it fits my particular style better as well. But whatever you end up choosing, its an amazing camera, and you will have a blast! reach on when you do get one, would love to know what colour you got! Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment as well! I appreciate it! ✨🙏🏼
Great review. On the point with all pros and cons. Well done! I have this camera, in black, and it is an absolute winner over the F. The lens mainly. FIXED. Both meanings here:) it’s a no brainier for travel and b camera to the XT line. And for those thinking about the Q line of Leica. Fuji. Save your money. This is THE ONE.
Absolutely! this camera is a must for travellers and street photographers, I'd still like to try the Leica Q's eventually, but the x100v is my pick! Thanks for the nice comment :)
Coming soon! Still working on the accessories video, i was not kidding when i mentioned it will be the ultimate guide, so it takes time to get everything shipped, tested, etc. My hope is that i can have it done sometime in December! thanks for your comments and welcome aboard!
Thanks for the sub! I hope it was helpful or entertaining, stay tuned for more. And once again, thanks a lot for taking the time to watch and comment! Cheers! 🙏🏽
Awesome video mate cheers. I had the original a used model 1 year after launch but it developed the SAB issue fuji wouldn’t repair as I didn’t have proof of purchase so I bought the T which I adored until it drown in a flash flood I replaced with the F which I use constantly I just worship this thing the V I want it but do I really need it at this stage I’m thinking no as the F still blows my mind.
Totally agree! The X100F is an incredible camera, and it really is the camera that ignited everything you see on this channel. And for the most part I don't think owners of the F "need" to upgrade. But, like I mentioned in the video, we should upgrade gear only it if matters to us in terms of advantages and benefits. And the weather sealing was enough for me to really think about it. Sounds like perhaps you might be the same since you went over flash foods (sorry to hear that btw). That is the main reason Why I bit the bullet and got the X100V. But if the V didn't have that feature, I would still be using and loving the X100F! Thanks for watching man, I hope it was useful or entertaining, and thanks for tacking the time to share your thoughts and experiences as well, I really appreciate it! 😁🙏🏼
@@Jorge-Perez all good mate ❤️ yeah the weather sealing would be the only reason for me personally to upgrade thankfully in my region bad weather is pretty rare so for now the F stays. Looking back through my channel the F and T featured heavily I keep digging out film cameras but always go back to the F I’ve literally just got back from a dawn sunrise shoot and the F has produced some lovely shots. I watched a few of your vids last night the need for a fully mono cam interests me bring on an X100m for mono and I’m in like a robbers dog 📷📷📷❤️📷❤️📷
Great review, UA-cam recommended this at the right time! I am currently using GH5s for video and just last week I sold my canon 70d to save up for the x100v I do photography with the Panasonic gh5s, but it's not the same! my old nikon 5100 took better photos for some reason and honestly the autofocus on the Panasonic is always a mess. seriously still considering the x100v for photography only, and it seems to me your video has made me more and more into it! my wallet hates you, sir! 🤣
@@Mu3azOsman For weather resistance, get the NiSi UV filter... it screws straight onto the camera (adaptor and UV combined) and the lens cap fits onto it. :)
Totally agree! At least from a traveller and street photographer perspective, this is my favourite by far! Thanks for leaving a comment and stay tuned for more videos about the X100V!
Hi Jorge - wow, what a review!! This is probably one of (if not) the best reviews of the Fujifilm X100V that I’ve seen to-date. Congrats!! You’ve done it in such a way that is very unique, unapologetic (referring to your other video about respecting people’s privacy in street photography), informative, digestible and pleasant to watch. And when you combined all that with your own experiences on how you use the camera personally, your thought process etc., it makes this review invaluable. So, thought I’d stop by and say THANK YOU for putting in the time to do all the research for us and for making this video. I look forward to see many more! Cheers from Downunder! 👍 📷
@@Jorge-Perez Not a problem at all. Hard work deserves to be recognised! I'm a minimalist, so simplicity, easeability (if there is such a word) and a joy to use are the 3 must haves for me when choosing a gear! I really like the way you break down your thought process on how you chose your gear: creativity vs. productivity vs. reality on what you're really using it for. This is very validating! 👍 So keep up the good work and hope to see some more video on accessories for the X100V 😁
@@Jorge-Perez you should be pleased with yourself. These days I rarely praise anyone on YT bec YT is full of you Tubers who does not use the product/ know what they are saying. I can tell u truly knows your stuff. 👍
Great review. Love the camera, had the original and then moved on to the X-T series. Finally got sick of lugging all the lenses around and sold everything and came back to the V. Could not be happier.
Good choice! I purchased the x-t3 and reviewed it here in the channel, and in the process I realized that the x100 series is the best for me, so I got the x100v. It's a wonderful camera. Thanks for your kind words, and stay tuned for more about the x100v! :)
I've used my X100F for past 3 years with the fuji cap and no lens filter/hood 😅 Just put the fuji cap in my pocket, and put it back on when I'm done. Nice video thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! I can officially say that I've heard of someone that uses it that way. Sometimes I feel like carrying nothing at all, so I might give it a try in the near future. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, Cheers!
godd review, i will go into the fuji system after sony and was choosing between the xs10, xt3 an x100v - ordered a x100v that will come tomorrow - will be nice to test it out, this video helped med decide, we will se how i like it best regards joakim
I hope the video was useful or informative! Would be curious to hear your thoughts on the X100V after you've used it for a while or your first impressions. For me, the camera is a joy to use, and that matters to keep you engaged and motivated to practice your craft. Thanks a lot for watching and for taking the time to share a comment, and congrats on joining the fuji family! I have other videos about settings, and focusing methods in case you'd like to catch up, Cheers! 🙏🏼
@@Jorge-Perez Thanks for your response - yes i have got it today and its a bit of chock how littel it is and learn how to hold it - but otherwise i really like it - the inbuild hd is great and i will try getting my head around how to do the fifference recepies :-) - had some good test shots at my cat - but she always look good so maybe not the camera :-) - i will look into your other videos to - all the best and keep up the good work - best regards/Joakim
Love my X100V, and love my X-H1. They serve different use cases, and I wouldn't want to give up one for the other. However, the size/weight difference does mean that the X100V goes with me practically everywhere, whereas the X-H1 only gets used when I'm purposely heading out to photograph something where its versatility is needed.
I wanted to get the X-H1 when it came out, but it's exactly like you say, the size/weight difference was the key while traveling abroad, I don't leave the house without the X100V! Stay tuned for more videos about the X100V and thanks for your comment :)
Currently I'm saving up money to buy this camera because it fits my needs perfectly. Unfortunately here in Germany you won't find a store where you can actually hold it in your hands if you don't live in a major city. Because of that I'm sucking up every review I can find. 😅 Your review is really good. 👍 By the way, there's an filter from NiSi specifically for the X100V (and previous models) that is adapter ring and filter in one single piece. It's pretty inexpensive, won't block the OVF and the original lens cap should still fit.
Thanks! I appreciate it, I'll give the filter a try. And good luck saving and getting this camera, you won't regret it, objects don't make people happy, but this camera makes me want to go out and shoot, good luck!
I’m hesitating between this x100v and the GRiii as I love 28mm. Dis you already try the adapter 28mm ? Does it make the x100v weather resistant in the same time? Have you made any comparison with the griii even for your personal purpose? Thanks anyhow for this pleasing video and the good way you adress the points.
Hey! I'm working on the ultimate accessory guide for the x100v, which will include the wide and tele converter adapter as well, unfortunately that's about a month away or so, so I haven't fully confirmed if its weather sealed while using the adapters. I've used the GRIII and it's a great camera, truly pocketable, but no built in viewfinder, no weather sealing, no tilting lcd screen, 28mm lens (you can go as wide as 21mm with an adapter). That should already give you an indication if this camera is for you. But I might be open to doing a comparison of these cameras in the future. Hope that helps! and thanks for your comment :)
@@Jorge-Perez thank you so much for your time to answer. I'll stick to my TL2 with 18mm which is à 28m équivalent for now but your review is very interesting.
Hey there, nothing like that so far. I don't shoot video with it, so overheating has never been even a consideration in my part. I so shoot a lot when i go out, normally used 2 and a half batteries, and no issues with heat or lens grinding. Cheers!
I am thinking of buying one and the main thing keeping me (perhaps not for much longer:) is the lack of any image stabilization. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who sees this as perhaps the biggest drawback. Yes I know, classic rangefinder style cameras did not have IS, but once you get used to it, it's tough to go back.
Interesting, perhaps I can offer my point of view in this matter. Like everything in life, the answer is: "It depends". As cameras get better at interpreting data, faster and more reliable, we too get better at understanding what they can, and can't do. When considering purchasing any camera, it should serve the following questions: what are you trying to achieve, what type of photographs you want to take, and what is your goal. I have never needed ibis for street and travel photography, even during night time shooting I can comfortably go to 1/125th or even 1/250th and still have clean, properly exposed files. Clean files at even 6400 ISO are possible with the x100v. And considering that the x100 series was meant as a travel/street photography/everyday carry camera, then, ibis has no place in my type of photography. If you were considering doing astrophotography, landscapes with really long exposures, or effects photography (light painting, etc) or even video work, then yes, I agree that ibis would be a very important aspect to consider. However, this camera was not meant for any of that. You did mentioned "once you get used to it, it's tough to go back" So maybe your approach to photography or your type of photography DOES require IBIS, in that case I would not suggest the x100 series. Like I mentioned in the review, if you approach the camera fairly and use it for what it was actually meant, then the camera delivers. If you try to use it for everything, it becomes a jack of all trades, and a master of none. Hope that helps, thank you very much for watching and leaving a comment, I appreciate it! 🙌🏼😁
@@Jorge-Perez Jorge amigo, gracias por la respuesta larga:) Yes, of course you're right overall. It's just that some of us are half tech nerds - half "photographers" lol. So my nerdy part would tell you "yes you can get clean enough night pics at ISO 1600 or above and 1/125, but of course you'd get much cleaner with 1/15 stabilized and ISO 200" . I love taking night shots (many without people/moving subjects) and IS just enables you to get more out of the sensor under those circumstances. You can brighten up some shadows and the noise would be much less noticeable if you had shot it at low ISO. So the thought that the next X100 model may have IS, makes me think of waiting for that... Anyway, thanks for the video, I am either way thinking of buying it.
Go for it, you will not regret it, as long as you know what the camera was made for, and use it for that. I know what you mean about night photos, but I personally don't mind using 1600, 3200, or even 6400 ISO with the new fuji sensors, very clean look, and if there's a little noise, it feels a lot more organic. than other manufacturers. Good luck and I hope you can decide what to get soon! time is money, or in our case, time are good photos! Cheers man 📸🙌🏼
@@Jorge-Perez Thanks! For the noise comment too. In this case buying a new (lovely) camera will also be a means to combat the Covid blues, we need to take our minds off this...now I only need to decide the color, in the beginning I was leaning towards the black/silver, now I am leaning towards the black:)
Hey There, technically we are both correct. They use the exact same sensor, the X-Trans IV. The xt3, xt4, xt30, xpro 3, x100v, and now the brand new xs10 use the exact same sensor and image processing. So image quality, ISO performance, and dynamic range are almost identical. Thanks for your comment and welcome! 🙏
@@Jorge-Perez Well, sorry, I didn't know the XT3 has the same sensor as all the new ones. Thank you for answering back. I'll be following you reviews, they are quite interesting... Saludos desde Andalucía, España.
I'm looking into it, will make a video about accessories later on, any preferences on the brands or models of thumb-grips that you use? Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment :)
@@Jorge-Perez yeah no problem! They can actually get expensive ($50 which is dumb) so I just recommend the brand ‘HITHUT’ ($20) just be sure to pick one that is compatible with the x100v 🤙🏽 never had any issues with a year of use.
Nice review. Looks a great camera but seems overpriced to me for a point and shoot. I use my my m6ii as a lightweight street. What would you say the benefits of the x100v are over this? 🤔
Thanks for the comment, First I want to say that I think it's perfectly fine to have preferences over other camera brands or models. Although I haven't personally used the M6mkII, I researched a bit about it to be able to give you a helpful opinion: For me, the viewfinder is one of the most important aspect about the x100v, not only that is a hybrid between Optical and electronic, (If you have shot film before, or used leica cameras, then you understand what I mean) but also that is a rangefinder style viewfinder as well (I dislike the placement in regular style cameras as my nose is gigantic and it gets in the way) The tactile dials, the quality and look of the simulations, as well as the look of the physical camera, and the weather resistance are important to me. I agree that on paper, the camera sounds a bit expensive, but the fact that fujifilm was able to reduce the Fujinon XF 23mm f/2 R WR to that size without loosing any quality whatsoever while giving it a leaf shutter is another factor as well for me. I'm not trying to sell you on it, this is just my preference. The m6mkII lens selection is rather limited and disappointing in my opinion, theres no point in having a interchangeable lens camera if you dislike most of the lenses available for it, it does not have a built in viewfinder (I know it comes with the adapter/accessory viewfinder), no weather sealing, no fuji colour science. I'm not saying you can't get decent results with the m6mkII, after all it's all about the user and your experience, and artistic sensibilities, however when I use a camera every single day, for years, I want to enjoy the experience, I want to be glad that I brought with me to even the supermarket. So I pay extra attention to the look and feel, ergonomics, etc. If you enjoy the ergonomics and features of the m6mkII, then maybe the RICOH GRIII is a better fit for your style and what you are trying to achieve as a photographer, cheaper than the x100v as well. With "almost" equal quality. I hope that was helpful, thanks for leaving a comment! :)
@@Jorge-Perez thanks for the feedback. Yes you are right yhe lack of lens for the M system, I use as my B cam for the R system so not quite as important. I used the zt2band 3 for a while to and the fuji ergonomics are great. I will certainly take a look at the x100v when I visit the shop next. It will be good to pick it up and get feel for it. So does the evf show you the image from the sensor as well as the option to see straight through? I was confused on the reviews.
Like everything in life, it "Depends" the XT series is better for hybrid shooting (photo and video), having multiple lenses and having the best of both worlds. The x100 series is for travel, street and event photography, having a minimal camera for your everyday carry, fixed lens, I would not use it for video. I have a XT3 review video in case you want to dig deeper. Hope that helps, and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! 🙌🏼
ooooh yeahhh! x100v is not for everybody..... only for those who knows what is 100s series. It's perfect for stills everyday life and travel and streets. Absolutely amazing thing
Honestly the original x100 is great, I've made a full review about that camera. The results and the experience is incredible. That being said if you want a more complete package that offers protection from the elements, then the X100V is the way to go. However, there is some magic to the older cameras that the newer ones can't replicate, and that is something that we need to consider as well. How is the x100 treating you? would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your thought as well! I appreciate it! 🙌🏼✨
@@Jorge-Perez I know, i've seen it, and know the X100 since the Fujifilm 2010 Photokina prototype presentation....and many web reviews since then, and the other iterations X100S to V. I am very happy with the X100, i could wish for the 23mm F2 II lens, but thats on the X100V, for now...and upcoming iterations. I don't need the EVF, OVF only, or with infos overlay. I have a new original X100/S leather half case in the mail next monday. Personally, i'd love to see the D-Pad coming back into a X100 VI, or whatever Fujifilm would call it. Its being missing since the X100F, also on X100V. I'd love to see a X200 with a fullframe 36x24mm Sensor, and a 35mm F2 Fujinon lens, but Fujifilm stated many years ago, they aren't being interested into FF. And right so, they've got APS-C with X-trans, with ordinary Bayer CFA, and also Medium Format (44x33mm) within the GFX Series, so they covered both markets. And the X-Trans Sensor usually does have around a 20-30% advantage, vs. a ordinary Bayer Sensor with the same MP count. You know, back into the day, whereas it all started with X-trans (X-Pro1) into 2011, it was a real mess to get a decent RAW converter besides Fuji, which supports it. Then, sometime into 2012, Photoninja came to the rescue, also Iridient (Developer), OSX. Later on, some years later, Adobe (with really crappy IQ, especially ACR inside CS6 as update) and Capture One. LR was always messy with X-Trans, because Adobe treated it like the stepmother fosterchild, that special Sensor, and with =< 5% Marketshare. Since some years, RAW Therapee, and also DarkTable (both OpenSource - for free) do have excellent X-Trans Sensor support. No need to use Adobe LR, or PS anyway for it, or ACR especially. Whileas its being much better, than before...DxO shows with PhotoLab v5 and beta X-Trans Support, that the image quality again is much better with Fujifilm - than LR. The numerous amount of ppl trolling into photography forums, and rumors about "X-trans worms" , and waxy faces into people, portrait shots stated due to the crappy Adobe X-Trans support - and since many of the ppl never looked out of the box, they stayed, kept using LR. It was never Fujifilms issue - but Adobe, they've never got it right, until some time, a few years ago...from 2011/12 onwards. Adobe was never being the best, or #1 choice for Fujifilm RAW Files - especially with a X-trans Sensor CFA. Well, the original X100 is still fine, as street, or reportage camera. It gets the job done...and that's all what truly matters, into the end.
Yes, that's the point of the video, if you are expecting this camera to be the best of both worlds, then you'll be disappointed. I would not use this as a main video camera. That being said, there has been some decent improvement with software updates, in the auto focus department and the ND filter as well. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share a comment as well. Cheers 🙌🏼

Such a tasty colour with Fuji part of the video 😍😍😍. I'm a Sony user, so much surprised.
It really is! The "Eterna" film simulation is great for video, don't really have to do a lot of editing or colour grading, it's great right out of the box.
The X100V is not necessarily the best video camera, but the good news is that the "Eterna" profile is available in most modern Fujifilm cameras as well!

Well conceived and well presented. Helpful to me, as am considering a purchase of X100

Nice job on this well balanced review. Thanks for sharing

On point. I plan to upgrade very soon!
Keep us up to date when you do! Curious to hear what you think of it! Thanks! 🙌🏼

Very good, balanced review! I plan on buying x100v as soon as I decide on silver or black.
@@Jorge-Perez I did decide to get the silver. I ordered online, suppose to get it next week. Thanks Jorge!!

Hey, thanks! I appreciate your kind comment & thanks for taking the time to leave one. Welcome aboard! 🙏🏽🙌🏽
One of the best reviews I have seen on the x100v. You mention that another video will review the accessories. Have you made this video? Thanks
Coming soon! Still working on the accessories video, i was not kidding when i mentioned it will be the ultimate guide, so it takes time to get everything shipped, tested, etc.
My hope is that i can have it done sometime in December! thanks for your comments and welcome aboard!
Great review, tone , quality. Instant sub :)
I am currently using GH5s for video and just last week I sold my canon 70d to save up for the x100v
I do photography with the Panasonic gh5s, but it's not the same! my old nikon 5100 took better photos for some reason and honestly the autofocus on the Panasonic is always a mess.
seriously still considering the x100v for photography only, and it seems to me your video has made me more and more into it! my wallet hates you, sir! 🤣
Lol, my wallet hates me too! haha. Thanks for your kind comment, I hope you enjoy your future X100V! stay tuned for more videos about it :)

great video! do you mind sharing what camera(s) you used to shoot this vid?
Thanks! It's the Sony ZV-1, I have reviewed it as well, in case you're interested in watching, thanks for dropping a comment! Cheers 😁
I'm glad you found this video useful! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a kind comment. Welcome to the community :)
So keep up the good work and hope to see some more video on accessories for the X100V 😁
Made some valuable points and perspectives that assisted me in choosing the X-T3 over the X100V. Thanks!

Nice video. It's a good camera and I love to work with it. It's a good replenishment next my Leica q2

By the way, there's an filter from NiSi specifically for the X100V (and previous models) that is adapter ring and filter in one single piece.

Much appreciated man!, thanks for subscribing and for your good vibes!
I am into x100v from today wise me luck 🤞
Sounds great lol, good luck in your photography journey, the x100v is an amazing camera, you won't be disappointed, cheers! 😁
Overheating? Lens grinding?
All is fine but the sensor is the same as in the XT4 not the XT3 as you mention in your review... Saludos .
You might want to look into a hot shoe thumb grip; I’ve got one for each of my XT3 bodies 😁
Although I haven't personally used the M6mkII, I researched a bit about it to be able to give you a helpful opinion:
For me, the viewfinder is one of the most important aspect about the x100v, not only that is a hybrid between Optical and electronic, (If you have shot film before, or used leica cameras, then you understand what I mean) but also that is a rangefinder style viewfinder as well (I dislike the placement in regular style cameras as my nose is gigantic and it gets in the way)
The tactile dials, the quality and look of the simulations, as well as the look of the physical camera, and the weather resistance are important to me.
I was confused on the reviews.
i am torn between this and the xt3
Agreed! Perfect everyday carry, travel and street photography camera, powerful and stylish too!
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! 😁
I'd love to own it, but can't afford it yet. I have the original, X100 ltd. into black. Have seen all the Reviews, from X100 to X100V on DPR.
Focusing problems in video 4 times. @7:15, 7:19, 7:30, 7:46 No one else noticed?
Yes, that's the point of the video, if you are expecting this camera to be the best of both worlds, then you'll be disappointed. I would not use this as a main video camera.
That being said, there has been some decent improvement with software updates, in the auto focus department and the ND filter as well.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to share a comment as well. Cheers 🙌🏼
I use mine like that lol. But if UPS would hurry up and bring me that square lens hood then soon I’ll probably stop using it like that.
Haha good to know! Have you received your hood yet? I'm curious to know your thoughts about using the camera with accessories. In my case, once you start accessorizing the X100V, you can never go back!
