  • THE BEST WAY TO COOK KARE - KARE | PORK KARE - KARE
    (exact ingredients below)
    Kare-Kare is a Philippine stew cooked with a thick savory peanut sauce. It is usually variation of oxtail, ox tripe, pork hocks, calves feet, pig feet, beef, seafood and vegetables. In this video I used pork tail along with some vegetables. Kare Kare is not complete without a bagoong (shrimp paste). Serve it with freshly cooked white rice.
    Ingredients:
    3 tbsp annatto oil
    3 cloves of garlic
    2 medium-sized onions
    1kg boiled pork tail
    2 cups of pork stock
    3/4 cups of peanut butter
    1 tbsp glutinous flour
    1/3 cups of commercial salted peanuts (crushed)
    1 bundle string beans (boiled)
    4 eggplants (fried)
    1 banana heart (boiled)
    sauteed shrimp paste
    Ingredients to boil the Pork tail (pork stock)
    2 star anis (optional)
    3 pcs cinnamon bark (optional)
    1/2 tbsp pepper corn
    3 cloves garlic
    Atsuete seeds for Annatto oil
    Glutinous rice for Glutinous flour

    wow! you make it look so easy, and i didnt even realize i had all the ingredients you used (except for the banana hearts hahah) it really shows that you dont have to say so much to follow a recipe. it was simple and easy to follow. LOVED IT! thank you!!!

    Marunong naman ako magluto nito pero pinanood ko pa din 😄 pareho tayo ng way ng pagluto nyan xcept for baking soda (now i know, thanks) kaya sure ako masarap 👍

    Finally , I find a kare kare recipe that makes sense and how gourmet chefs would do it .     Ang gandang panoorin ang pagluluto kc may ibat-ibang version kung paano lutuin ang isang pagkain. Ang ganda ng wok nyo sis. Makapag luto nga ng ganito sis susundan ko recipe nyo heheehe papatikim ko kay hubby if magustuhan nya to. Salamat sa recipe :))

      Si Panlasang Pinoy gumagamit ng pampalasa gaya ng Knoor, pero si FoodNatics hindi. Iyon ang isa kong napansin sa pagkakaiba nila maliban sa style ng pagluluto.
