He doesn't really care actually... the first one did, but not the second and third... not as much. He is purely focused on the race, it's about winning races and getting the maximum out of them.

Max has a very good framework for how he thinks he should preform, in a year where he can win the championship, his goal is nothing less, no matter how good (or bad, who knows) a car redbull gives max, he’ll just get every last point out of it. It’s what the greats do
I like how comfortable Max is with DC, normally he touches his hat every question but theres very few interviews of him relaxed answering questions. I think that comes from the media trying to make him out to be a villan all the time.
Especially British media. The rest of the world is more unbiased and looking at his performance, not how he performs compared to LH. But to be fair, Dutch media is also very biased towards LH, so I guess it's just a nationalistic thing.
Max has definitely matured from the earlier days chasing Hamilton for the championship. And he's honest about how things are or aren't. No BS, just racing. He's got the right mindset, I'm here to race to the best of my ability for the team, which means winning. Doesn't matter if it's the WDC or WCC, just racing to win, do the best he can. My sister and I joke that Max this season has been driving by sheer force of will, because the season he's been having, it really seems like that. Whatever the track, whatever the conditions, he is taking the RB19 and delivering on what it's capable of by giving it his all. And that's not to knock any of the other drivers this season. As of late, Lando and Oscar have been great. Hamilton has still had his moments, Alex in a Williams scoring points somewhat consistently, Liam jumping in the Alpha Tauri and keeping up with or besting Yuki. Sainz genius play at Singapore and his pace at Monza to take pole. As much as everyone may be sick of hearing the Dutch and Austrian national anthems, this season has had many incredible moments.
Alonso! you forget about Alonso, wouldn't it be great, if Alonso can get his career closed by the second seat at Red Bull, that would be so much entertainment!

There’s definitely a decent chance that he’ll be regarded as the Goat when he retires. He still has a long way to go but he definitely has what it takes to match or even surpass Hamilton‘s and Schumacher‘s 7 titles.
@@DuxJerome Well of course it can’t be the only measurement but it’s probably the strongest one. Or at least I can’t think of a stronger argument that can be backed up by facts.
One of the reasons world titles is a bad way to judge this is safety. The number of deaths in F1 in the 50s 60s and 70s precluded anyone from thinking about the idea of winning seven world titles . Death hung over the head of the sport in a way it doesn’t now. Jackie Stewart retired basically because he felt if he kept going, he would die. His protege, died in Stewart final race. There are very few GOATs in sports. The changes make it impossible to make reasonable comparisons and balance the equations properly. Even Max has said the same thing. Just put aside the GOAT thing forever. (The only person I believe qualifies is Michael Jordan. But that is opinion.)
Max likes talking to people who know what they are talking about DC is obviously an ex Racer so he knows what questions to ask, and Max Appreciates this and Eddie Jordan will always be a toser!

It's scary to see how relaxed Max is and how the team / family have rallied around him to allow him to become the man he is today.
As a Max fan, I am so proud of his & the RB teams achievements that all my friends have become Max fans as well. ha-ha
This guy is another level. He is smart, talented and he keeps his plan to himself. Of course he wants to win eight titles and most GP wins, he probably will, but he doesn't have to say it because then people will want to stop him. This is a master of racing and media - a true Macchiavelli.
He doesn't look like he's tired of winning championships yet.
Yes its scary for other drivers lol
He doesn't really care actually... the first one did, but not the second and third... not as much. He is purely focused on the race, it's about winning races and getting the maximum out of them.
He’s only won two.

We love Max ♥
Wonderful interview. Go Super Max 🧡
Since a young age, Max was molded into being a pure race driver across the board. He has the talent and skillset to be the best Formula driver ever.
Man, I look forward to seeing him in other categories aswell but lets enjoy this first.
Many congrats and respect to Red Bull - a energy drink company dominating legit car companies. Where are the meme's. :D
F1 fan since the Schumacher - Hakkinen era.
I'm so proud of him
I like the Max verstappen interview with David Coulthard back 2023 season.
man i could do atleast an hour more of this! gotta love it
Such a difference with that prima donna. So down to earth. Love that about him.
"Best crowd ever!"
He's statistically already a top 5 driver in Formula 1 history, the only reason why people don't admit to it, or bring it up is because they aren't ready for that conversation. His age has a lot to do with it as well.
I'd say not in Top 5 yet. Schumacher, Hamilton, Senna, Prost, Lauda are all ahead of him (i don't count Fangio era as it was so different?
Talking about the curtains and light coming in .... 😂😂😂 totally normal people
I'll thell you a secret: Max and David take a poop every day and use their own hands to wipe their behinds, they fart, they burp, they cry and feel insecure at times. They're just like normal people!
Max is unbelievable .
All Grand Prix drivers are brilliant, David a brilliant driver himself in F1 sums it up well.
I have followed Max,from day 1 of his f 1 career and knew he would be a future champion, now 3 times world champion he will continue to please his fans
Braaaaavvooooo 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Love this …. Max is smashing it!
Can’t wait for him to be challenged seriously again
Good work DC please keep your toe in F1 😍
Great driver, great sportsman and above all a great personality
Way to go! So proud of you Super Max! ❤
Smashing guy. True racer. No BS. 👍👍👍
I really like Max. It would make me very happy if, assuming he wants to and is capable of it, he could destroy all of Lewis's records.
A Huge congrats Max super proud of you and the team, your dad must be super proud of you! you and all the team have done an incredible job! great RESPECT!
I love this guy, what you see is what you get. He's a total legend. C4 always do a good interview with him.❤
Max has a very good framework for how he thinks he should preform, in a year where he can win the championship, his goal is nothing less, no matter how good (or bad, who knows) a car redbull gives max, he’ll just get every last point out of it. It’s what the greats do
Simply Lovely ❤congratulations Champ 🏆🏆🏆well deserved Max 👏🦁🧡
Super Puper Max! The Best!💪🏆
Let's go! super max!
Nice. Got Love David !! And as for Max Just a Awesome person , as well as a AMAZING driver. Duane
He is the opposite of Hamilton, and that is what i like.
That Helmet is definetly the best helmet design/colour scheme ive ever seen in F1 and with Filipe Albuquerque's one from a few years ago but he obvs isnt in F1. Just so elegant yet mean but beautiful all at the same time haha
I agree. Love the color scheme and design.
Max you are a legend - congratulations Champ!
David and Max…let’s see who can say of course most times 😂
It seems he is not driving at 100% and yet nobody can catch him, every race he's like 85 or 90% of his full speed just awesome
So crazy, he was literally just a teenage boy when he entered F1.
When he enteren F1 he still had to grow his public hair.
@@jfl1746 You mean his stubble beard?
So much love
SuperMax 🔥
This with David vs Max wonderful to listen 😊
So happy to see David with the F1TV crew. I much prefer their coverage as much as I love Brundle.
I think it was fantastic Max also went down when Piastri lied flat down. It shows how much down to earth he stayed.
Not like i go sit on the trone now. No. I am with you my friend, i go also sit down. I like that in Max 🙂
He has his feet down in 2 ways!
Amazing interview!
I loved the intro and outro parts of this which were quite humanising for me. Nice.
my kind of guy and one hell of a racer:)
There’s definitely a decent chance that he’ll be regarded as the Goat when he retires. He still has a long way to go but he definitely has what it takes to match or even surpass Hamilton‘s and Schumacher‘s 7 titles.
Well if the measurement of a goat is only about the amount of worlds championships, there is no goat.
True racer, well deserved World Champion.
Great job by Dave, extra relaxed atmosphere.
The enjoyment of working with people. I like that. 👍
Max is gewoon zich zelf🧡🧡🧡
Coulthard was blown out of his socks by this interview.
At no point they give you the idea that they are good friends, but they are, David is flying home a lot with Max.
lovely
3-time DWC in F1 and still compares his experiences to go-karting. What a driver.
Max true champion 3 times now and many more to come if he wants too best driver in a f1 car since senna
Even better than Lewis Hamilton without I'm sorry Lewis verstappen on different level right now
That’s not even arguable, is it?
And there is always one who can’t keep LH out of this conversation
LH way way better.
@@RichardSmith-xw7oy idiot, can't compare a diva to a driver...
@@thedutchexposerOfcourse it's arguable, Lewis has had tougher teammates and more wins etc.
Max likes talking to people who know what they are talking about DC is obviously an ex Racer so he knows what questions to ask, and Max Appreciates this and Eddie Jordan will always be a toser!
Eddie is also an ex-racer... but not nearly as succesful and certainly not as likeable as DC.
I already can't wait for the next season to start.
Lulu fans still haven getting over 2021
I get it that you respond to the haters, but calling Lewis Lulu is just fuel to the fire. No matter what you think of a person or driver, don't call them bad names like Lulu. I'm just trying to stop the toxic BS the F1 community has turned into
