Here is a short video of a hike I went on with a friend. We brought the FX3 and the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Full Frame to test out both cameras.
No ND on the sony, completely forgot to pack so I just brought up in shitter speed for a lot of the shots during the day. The BMPCC 6K FF I think had the Tiffen variable ND!
some of these shots were so beautiful! The shots of the sky at 1:49 were my favorite. I like the colors of the BMPCC 6K a lot, but the FX3 is so small and versatile. I make films too and recently shot a cinematic journal of the winter so far in New York City. If you could stop by I'd be very thankful Vincent
Just used a rec709 conversion with some temperature and shadow adjustments! I didn't want to do too much grading because I just wanted to show what it would look like out of the camera.

To my eyes, the Blackmagic camera has a more 'filmic' look to it. Having shot the video, what are your thoughts on the two cameras?

Colors look amazing on the Bmcc6k! Did you just use a rec709 conversion or what was the grading process?
Just used a rec709 conversion with some temperature and shadow adjustments! I didn't want to do too much grading because I just wanted to show what it would look like out of the camera.
You need to compare with the same lenses, the same focal length and the same point of view...
No need, can still get the vibe just fine and see the difference!
How you can compare two cameras in different light conditions and in different angles. wasting our time wasting yours as well.
