And here it is! Super stoked to finally share my latest collaboration with @Porsche - Drive2Extremes. Taycan Cross Turismo x Johnny FPV. Shot in -30 +30 conditions from Levi, Finland to Liwa Desert, UAE.
This project was epic to say the least. We shot the film on two identical tracks (on opposite sides of the world). The desert track in Abu Dhabi was built completely from scratch, a perfect 1:1 replica of the one in Finland. Mirroring the two created a really interesting contrast of environments, and gave us the ability to seamlessly merge the two locations together in the edit. The goal was to create a piece with 100% seamless transitions.
On the technical side of things, we wanted to develop drones that could effortlessly carry larger cinema cameras. Losing any essence of true FPV agility and performance would be a big failure. Proud to say this was achieved. We shot the entire film on the RED Komodo and FreeFly Wave camera (with the exception of flying through the window, GoPro).

I'm blown away... You are so incredibly talented! The fact that you were able to pull of the EXACT same shots in two different locations is beyond me.
All of your angles and movements are so precisely matched that I literally thought the car was fake. This video proves not only your skills, but how far ahead you are in the FPV-scene.
I was showing this to my sister and she asked me twice about whether it was fake or real

I don't even have words for this. As an FPV pilot...trying to figure out how to fly and film this with a huge dron + camera...seems insane. Shot through window..even with a Gopro that is super tricky. I am glad, happy and proud that you are taking this, as the song says, to another level. This shows the rest of us, how much we have to learn, and how the possibilities are endless. *Thank you, Johnny!*

I agree...the transitions and editing are spectacular. Obviously Johnny's flying and the DP are part of that, but the editing of hot to cold and transitions for each just are bonkers good.

@@djbis I don't think so. Just awesome cuts and some definitely killed drones.
The CGI look is a side effect of a stabilization software called ReelSteady. It always makes footage look like that. No, it is not CGI.
@@geometerfpv2804 this is not reelsteady. These recordings where done with RED cameras and Freefly Wave high fps cameras. big and expensive stuff. the shakings where sometimes real because of the heavy weight the drones had to lift or added afterwards for a more dramatic effect. The only gopro shot is the flight through the window :D
@@djbis there is cgi involved but only on fine details such as white dust in the desert in one of the shots. Seriously nothing is cgi, you can actually see the shadow of the drone on the dust in one of the shots - see if u can find it!

... so much insane things in one video don't know where to even start, as an FPV Pilot I would say the car fly through at 1:38 is my absolute favorite and the Ultra Slowmows in the dirt and snow! but 1:38 gets me when we think about how big the drone is with the cam and how tiny this fast-moving car window is :) WELL DONE Johnny
He used a GoPro for that window shot but yes, this is some extreme level of talent that us mortals cannot reach
@@tanmay______ I know :) but even with a 3 to 5inch GoPro quad even when it was a naked GoPro one, this is a lose-or-win shot nothing between... no room for errors in the brain and fingers :) so yeah still amazing work

@@flywithtb5005 that would be dope! riding in a car on the nordschleife and chasing around the whole track. Defintely going to need multiple battery changes if using a 5 inch tho.
@@Jeffe46M yes but it’s hard to think of a drone capable to provide the flight time and enough power to carry a GoPro and chase the cars down the fast sections
@@flywithtb5005 Honestly I don't think any drone could keep up with cars around that entire track. Maybe a super slow car but even then the gopro will weigh it down. It would have to be some super lightweight setup.
The window shoot, the dogsled chase, this whole cinematic is a wet dream of camerawork and post. I can hardly believe that what im watching is real and not CGI. Its just that insane.
I finally found the talent behind this ad, the genius, the seamless transition between -30 and +30 degree celsius weather! at some stage, I was convinced that the car was not real. I know it means nothing, but you earned my subscription due to this masterpiece. My dude, you are amazing!

I've not been wowed by anything on the internet for a while, but man, this was incredible. so much went into this, even down to the dogs and stuff for the transitions. insane.
I hope you comprehend how important you are to the FPV scene, every new release raises the bar and shows us what is possible! You will be remembered as the best cinema pilot.

This was INSANE!!! The song said it best...this was on another level. I'm curious how many cameras were damaged in the making of this video lol. I feel like getting that drone through a car window mid drift is the equivalent to a hole in one. Even the most talented people out there have to get lucky to pull that off. And rocking through all that dirt...I'm surprised you don't have a lens cleaner guy in the credits haha.

This is why fpv is the best and always will be you can never replicate skilliful movements like that with any drone other than a cinematic fpv drone and a great pilot controlling it!

I just noticed the roost from the car fades from snow to sand and sand to snow at the point where the transitions happened. Ive never seen that level of attention to detail and imagination from an editor. Simply incredible.
