The game is free during certain events. $10 entry fee is pretty cheap as well. The game has ALOT of little micro transactions. I just stay away from spending any money on this account.

The most satisfying thing about an ironman is the hard part. You've just allowed yourself to skip those parts. I've been playing No Pearl/No CM/No Horse Market/No Worker market ruleset since Nova came out and it just takes time to get those things you're allowing yourself to get from the CM. I got my Garmoth Heart recently, I got a PEN BS, 4 self-made T9s and the 1 free from recent event. T10 caphras level on two pieces of gear, with T5 and T6 on the other two pieces. Caphras just accumulate over time while you grind. I totally agree it's a cool F2P challenge, but calling it Ironman with such a loose ruleset is misleading so I wish you'd make it clear that it's not in fact ironman if you're just going to buy the things you're too lazy to make yourself off the CM.
Ironman in BDO doesn't work as thing like the CM are too important and the lack of storage is such a problem its impossible not to use it. Not to mention all the other things related to being self sufficient. Being F2P is enough of a challenge in BDO and it would be way more entertaining seeing someone truly develop a F2P account from the ground up without abusing the normal things that get abused by streamers like leeching & guild payouts. The ruleset is scuffed as hell & they make no sense: 1.) Buying caphras is literally buying an upgrade. 2.) Making an exception for PRI accessories doesn't make sense as the cost doesn't include the stack cost for a pri attempt or the potential failure 3.) Buying a T8 horse is buying an upgrade because you are completely bypassing breeding & not doing it yourself can be considered buying an upgrade 4.) Buying garmoth & vell means you get to potentially skip weeks of effort trying to get your own drop (again buying an upgrade) 5.) No guilds - a lot of passive buffs here everyone should get, and as long as you aren't abusing payouts, should be fine to be used Again, just call it free to play and go on with the series & don't abuse the systems normally abused by streamers.

This "rules that make no sense" are small adjustments so that I dont wanna pull my hair out in the process.

All you have to do is complete a season character and then you're caught up. I wasn't sure if I was going to do this account challenge to begin with originally so sadly I didn't document finishing my first season. I have a guide on how to run through seasons if that helps?

Its the free to play tent. you get it from completing a basic quest line. It also requires active upkeep to keep it working.
