Yes, they are my absolut favorite as well. They are quite rare but not a lot of people know what they are so you have a good chance of buying them relatively cheap. With kind regards, Vincent.
Thank you Vincent, awesome collection, too bad you sold your M1819 pallash but I'm sure it's for very good reasons. Your Prussian/German cutlasses' blade shape is very intriguing. So different from British and French patterns alike and so short, they look more like antique kopis/falcata with bulky hand-guards, quite a weapon in close-quarter fights on a ship in my opinion. Still Really love the Artillery- Horse Artillery? - 1848 pattern sword, still a potent blade for chopping but with a nice spear-point tip for thrusting plus this "good old" P-shaped knuckle-bow. Thank you for your videos, keep up the good work man!
Hey, keep up the great work! I wouldn't have dreamt would become interested in bayonets, but you just have the potential to take of as a chanel with informative content and a great way to convey information.
Hauptsächlich bekomme ich die Stücke mit Geduld und etwas Glück. Ansonsten Auktionen, Antikhändler oder Flohmärkte. Auf ebay.com findet sich auch hin und wieder mal was Gutes.
