I am a graduation student and my university is not affiliated so i want to apply for women scholarship but i just open the website the option for women scholarship is not showing
The window will open sometime in September as of now both access and women scholarship windows are closed

At CFAI website the "Deadline to register with invoice payment option" for Feb25 is showing 28th sept, what does this mean? Payment can be done through this method only when EMIs and Scholarship is involved, right?
No you can pay using this method even otherwise

I talked with the institute, they are saying that early registration price for feb will be offered doesn't matter the date at which scholarship window opens
When the window opens doesn’t matter…What matters is when the window closes.
Ask them: if the scholarship results are declared at a time when the registration for the February exam is closed (Example: the results for the scholarship come in December but the Feb registration closes in November) in that case will I still be allowed to register for the Feb exam in December?

since there are 10 subjects and exam is conducted in 2 sessions so is there any sectional cut off for every subject. like if anyone score terrible in quants but overall score is good so will there be any problem?

Overall score is considered for the pass or fail.
Suppose I got CFA scholarship but I didn't use it so in how many years will it expire or will it not?
If it’s the scholarship that you got in The January 2024 or September 2023 window then you have one year till the reward.
Check the scholarship reward mail for the exact dates

You can apply for the scholarship in the upcoming September window (details have not yet been announced so we wait for that) and apply for the exam only after the scholarship results will be announced.

You’ll have to select the next best option or take a risk and wait and see if they will open up more seats for your desired city

For November 2024 scholarships are closed. For November 2025 you can apply in the September 2024 window.
Whats the deadline for cfa scholaralship application and also last date of early bird registeration
There is no more scholarship windows available for the Feb 2025 exam. The early bird is over as well (9th July was the last day)

If I were you I would not take the risk of scholarship for the Feb 2025 exam. Chances of the results being out in November are very bleak

In the cfa website the payment options has credit card ,alipay and invoices so with debit card that has mastercard or visa will i be able to pay with these cards?
You can’t use a debit card at all

Final dates can only be confirmed once the institute releases the opening window and results date.
Having said that they usually give 5 attempts from whatever first attempt is possible and is applicable for a year in most cases so 99% November 2025 will be an option

Most probably yes but we will need the scholarship dates to be announced to confirm 1000%

I am confused with this whole process.
I am a 2023 pass out student, I am a fresher and I'm preparing for CAT2024 currently. I wrote a strong essay for scholarship. and I wish to apply for it.
As you know, CAT exam is in November ending. So, I cannot give CFA Nov attempt.
next option is Feb attempt, but as per this video, if I apply for scholarship in september I will not be eligible for feb attempt. i have to give may attempt. right?
But I thought if I give feb attempt for level1, then I can give may attempt for level 2 and then my MBA college will start form july 2025 onwards.
Can you please suggest me a good plan of action, based on the timeline I have given you !

I am good, how are you ?
So first things first you have to have a 6 minimum months gap between any 2 CFA exams (even to give level 1 again in case one fails this rule applies).
So even if you gave the exam in Feb you wouldn’t be able to give your level 2 till August.
Having said that you can go ahead for the February attempt only if you are sure you’ll be able to manage such a hectic schedule of CAT & CFA together, cuz CFA will need 5-6 months at the least.
Plus the scholarship while dependent on an essay doesn’t guarantee getting one sometimes even with the best essay so I feel you shouldn’t depend more than 50% for this.
If I were you If I was giving CAT in November then I’d go for CFA level 1 in May (Feb can be done if you’re great at multi tasking) and if that exam goes well and only if you have nothing else in hand will I go for level 2 in November.
I would say don’t rush everything together as that can create a bigger mess for you…So prioritisation of what’s important is needed and take a minimum of 6 months study time for level 1 and 7-8 months for level 2
You can also give CFA with or after MBA in case you find it difficult to manage ( I would do it after tbh cuz I would want to live the MBA life experience as that also helps a lot in CV building)

If i register for Feb 25 attempt without paying fees (i.e invoice payment) , then can i apply for scholarship
Even with the invoice payment the date issue will be applicable.

@@harshita7623 if you apply via the invoice method you’ll still have to register (you can cancel that if you stop the registration)…And in that case you won’t be allowed to apply for the scholarship at all (cuz you can’t apply when registered for an exam).
Having said this I would highly recommend you also mail the institute and check. This is more of a loophole tbh, haven’t seen anyone do it yet so told you what I know.
