    thanks for this quick review, have had my eye on it for years. Unfortunately on the other side of the continent, and different country :P. I wonder if there is anything similar to this topography in Eastern US?

    Rad!!! Just starting MTB again after a 20+ year hiatus and so much has changed. Are you clipped in for your descent?

      Oh no way…I don’t do clips😂😂

      @@adamsiler4766 gotcha. I own a 30 yr old fully rigid mtb. Even though I’d never take it down beacon, the easy trail riding I do I have to be clipped in or I’ll get bucked off. I’ve tried the REI co op 3.2 full suspension and fell in love but the price not so much. What would say about the co op drt 1.1 front suspension hard tail? Need to upgrade while not selling a kidney.

      Tough to say, whatever the best bike you can get for your budget is what I would do. You can always upgrade components as you go if you find you want better stuff

      @@adamsiler4766 $600 for an entry level REI bike, frame made by Giant and Shimano parts. I’d say that’s a bargain.
      Thanks for your time!🤙

    These Beacon Hill trails looks soo cool and soo perfect or my skill level, but unfortunately i live on the totally opposite side of the country. Thanks for the videos; i'll probably never make it there in person.

    How would a 130 trail bike do in Spokane? Underbiked?

    • @adamsiler4766
      @adamsiler4766  Рік тому

      It would be fine for most everything. Might just have to be a little more precise on line choices but not a big deal

    Trails look fun. What kind of bikes are people running there? I’m moving there in August and I’ll be bringing a fat bike and my trail bike 140rear and 160front it’s older now but still rips pretty good. From this at least it doesn’t look like I’ll be underbiked.

    • @adamsiler4766
      @adamsiler4766  2 роки тому

      Your bike will be fine. Most people are running 140-160 rear travel bikes and that seems to be the sweet spot for most everything. I’m running my 170/170 spire and it’s great too though out there.

    Is Beacon Hill all pedal access? Is it ebike friendly?

    • @adamsiler4766
      @adamsiler4766  3 роки тому

      Yes to pedal access and yes to eBikes as well!

    How's the ride to the top of Beacon Hill? Based on how long the descents are it looks like it could be quite long?

    • @adamsiler4766
      @adamsiler4766  3 роки тому +1

      Depending on the trail of course, Runs down top to bottom can take any where from 3-15 minutes depending on skill obviously. There are two sides to Beacon, the Sekani side takes about 10-15 minutes to ride up, the runs are much shorter but super fun. Depending on where you park, up to the towers on the Ezzy side can take anywhere from 15-60 minutes.
