Thanks for watching! Just to clarify you can continue to work with Liveops but if you quit from one of their clients you may not be able to work with that specific client again. At least that's what I remember when I left BBW. However, they may have updated the policy by now.
So much has changed since you made this video. You can get a lot more information before signing up for a client, called an opportunity. I hope that you will either update this, or make a note that things have changed.
This was an awesome video and I truly appreciate the help because this gave me a lot more understanding of what Liveops is and does for customers, the Liveops program does not really explain that well. You have a really good day and thank you again.

I am starting again with Liveops very soon, but I worked with them way back in the day when they first started. Things have change since I first worked with them. I'm still friends with my study buddy from back then. I started with John Sokoloff taking calls from people who want more information about getting their money when they need it lol. The other thing that has changed is each campaign pays different. and I can't find anything on that. I'm excited about working with them again I just hope the campaign is a good one, I'm curious what companies they service now a days. I hope that it will be fun. Thanks for such a detailed video.

Hi! Thank you so much for your kindness in this comment and I am so sorry for my delay in responding. Most companies do not require you to be on video. Only one company has asked me to be camera ready and that was TurrboTax. You do have to talk on the phone. Most of my conversations lasted about 10 minutes.
For those who are here to find out if u can live abroad and work them. She said she doesn’t think you can but you totally can. When working for liveOps you are hired as an independent contractor. That means you have to be registered as a business owner in your country of residence (US) you are responsible for filing your own taxes, equipment ect ect. You work on your own time too. U can totally be abroad and work from that country without any issues. If u were to be hired as an employee then you would need your company’s consent to work abroad. Not as a private contractor.

Hello, new subbie here. After watching your video, I completed the LiveOPS application, and immediately received a message from them that at this time, they have received a high-volume of applications and are not excepting any at this time. Did you experience this ?
I am so glad to see this video. I am a seasoned Independent Business Owner and have been applying to LIVEOPS for months and with no success. It mostly states that they will contact you and receive only one email of aknowledgment. How long is the turnaround? I would appreciate your assistance.
Thank you for watching the video and for leaving a comment! I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with the Liveops application process. The turnaround time for hearing back from Liveops can vary, but it's generally best to reach out to them directly for an update on your application status. You can contact their support team through their website, and they'll be able to provide more information on the status of your application and any next steps you may need to take. I hope that you are successful in your application and that you find the right opportunity☺
Thank you for this video! At least now I know I’m too poor to apply for Liveops! I was hoping to find something at home since I don’t have an automobile. It is almost impossible to find a job without a car! Please please anyone have any suggestions for something more affordable??
Hi, I feel your pain. I don't have a car at this time either. Used to have to drive 30 miles each way to work so this pandemic actually improved my ability to work. I intend to get a car as soon as possible though. There are other staffing agencies that advertise online. If you go to Rat Race Rebellion, you can find only work from home jobs (remote jobs some of them are called) and that's where I have found most of my jobs in the three years since the pandemic began. Most of the jobs are listed with the pay and most of the pay is anywhere from $10 per hour to $15 per hour. They investigate their listings so that no fake jobs slip through. Try it. And yes, Daesha is awesome. And my mouth began to water when she showed the Seoulbox. Yummy and since I am a vegetarian, as soon as I get some extra money together, I will order. Anyway, luck and blessings with your job hunt.
I'm kinda scared of starting since you mentioned some questionable things especially not being paid for training, i've had 2 jobs previously where i didnt understand what i was doing

Hello I literally just applied for Liveops YESTERDAY, my application and background check went through successfully. I have a full time job already, and I am just looking for part time extra income. I received another email for signing some type of contract, and wasn’t sure if I would be fully committing myself if sign that contract. as I am still doing my research, to make sure this is what I want to do. Hi Kimberli! Sorry if this is too late of advice 😅. When working with Liveops you need to sign two contracts. One with Liveops (has to be renewed in about 6 months or so) and one with the opportunity/company you decide to join. When you sign the one with LiveOps you aren't obligated to take calls yet. You don't start calling until the contract/scope of work, with the company. I hope this helps and CONGRATULATIONS!
@@TeacherDaesha in time to help me out 😉 thank you. Need to pass a test in next 2 weeks, so i have a much better idea of the time commitment for LO now.
Hi! I am seriously considering applying to Liveops but I'm a little confused...do I have to get an EIN number or can I just use my social security number? What do you recommend? Also, do you need to pay quarterly employment taxes?
Hi, I have been an Independent Contractor for over 10 years with a company. You do have to pay quarterly taxes. Contact the IRS and they will tell you all about that. Also, you don't need an EIN number unless you will be running your own business and hiring people to work for you. Otherwise, you can be an LLC and use your SS number.
Thanks for the video. I am a licensed social worker. What do you know about the healthcare positions at Liveops? I just submitted an application, and I am really excited about this opportunity.
Hi Dawn! I haven't seen many healthcare company opportunities on LiveOps. One agent did mention one before so I would say, having that on your resume is definitely a great bonus. However there might not be a lot of positions for you to use it in.
Just curious about the split screen, every company I have worked for had a place on the call record for notes, so why do you need a split screen? Can you elaborate on this?
Thanks! It is a group session where we are split into breakout rooms of about 50 agents and 1 trainer. And your camera does not need to be on at all. In fact, they don't allow you to turn on your camera during the sessions.
I tried to sign up but couldn’t figure it out. I filled out everything (paperwork) and sent it in but they sent it back to me within a week🤷♀️ nothing against them I guess I was just new & didn’t know what to do.
Hi, Thanks so much for this information. Just applied with them. Are you able to work with Liveops and another work from home company? If they don't have enough calls available would like to be able to make income through another company as well if allowed. Thanks again!!!
I just signed up for and got accepted. I hear alot about working with Bath & Body Works, what are the peak hours for them?? I don’t see them listed. Thank you!
I have a full time job 8 am to 5pm eastern, are there any training classes set up for evenings? I want to have extra income coming in, but there's no training classes for evenings there all morning training classes.
My resume was 'considered' by Liveops and I am not sure if I should try it considering that it will get me more experienced with my medical administrative, plus I'm in need of another job
so i have done the application background check direct deposit and have received confirmation everything has been varified now im starting the erollment process but its asking me for a verfication code to get started whre do i get the verification code can you please direct me in the right direction please thanks
I'm currently with Liveops and enjoy it for the most part. I was wondering, since I might be moving my office, do I absolutely really need that darn ethernet cable? Are there any opportunities that do not require having the cable with office set-up?
Iv done customer service from home for years and let me give you a pro tip - majority of companies don’t even know you aren’t using an Ethernet cord. Actually I have NEVER used one for work. My internet has the same stability wether it’s hard wired or not, and changes nothing (for ME) though. I use a cheap $50 a month T-Mobile internet box too 😅. I don’t have an Ethernet plug anyway because I use a laptop, I don’t have a desktop unless the company I’m working for gives me one, other than that nope nope. I love to work in the bed with my Netflix on in the background. BUT for “technical checks “ at the beginning or something I just have a friend sign in for me who’s hardwired.
@@laserkeyboardpro4239 thank you! I can't begin to tell you how frequently my husband and I argue about the cord. He says I don't need it (and I think he's right), but I live in fear that I will be booted off if discovered by the company. I'm afraid I'll lose the income and I need to work from home.
@@laserkeyboardpro4239 I am trying to just apply and it says I need to turn off my VPN. I have done that and it still won't let me thru. Someone said it probably is MY TMOBILE internet.. So you are saying YOU are doing LIVOPS with TMOBILE?.... I get great speeds.. so ..
@@laserkeyboardpro4239 see, this is confusing... I have TMOBILE 5G Gateway home internet. IT is not broadband. I am not getting clear information on this requirement for "wired" connection. @@caelidhg6261 wired connection literally just means you plugging the Ethernet cord in your computer so it’s “connected” dear. So YES it is suffice cause what you explained is exactly what it means lol it means using the wires and plugging it in

I have a question.....do u ever speak to anyone that actually works at Liveops? Did u have to sign up for Open force and did they charge you for direct deposit?
I haven't spoken to anyone that works at Liveops recently. The information in this video was based off of my own personal experience. In my experience with Liveops I do not remember being charged a fee for Openforce but I did have to sign up for direct deposit.
Hi is there a background check fee for liveops. I have completed the app and was transferred to a site called sterling; which is suppose to conduct a background check for an 25 dollar fee. Someone let me know if its legit or not.
Someone has contacted me saying they work for live ops but their asking for my social and access to my ID me I don’t feel comfortable giving this information through text is this their normal process?
did i get myself into trouble i havent heard from liveops since having to change my name at ss and inform them of my married name not matching my openforce
In my experience, it depends on the company you sign up with. When I was with Bath and Body Works I could pretty much work whenever I wanted. But with TurboTax I could hardly find work. That's why I haven't been back to Liveops yet.
@@meyonmastermind7497 Not at the moment. The last company I was with. I could barely get any hours. So I decided to stop since I didn't have much time to spend on them anyway 🙃

Hi Corry! Thanks for watching. Unfortunately my only piece of advice is to keep checking. One of the reasons I've shyed away from Liveops is that they don't have many options available and the ones they do I prefer not to work with. In the meantime feel free to check out similar companies such as Arise. I've also had a friend find successful WFH gig on indeed. Hope this was somewhat helpful 😊
Hi Mary! You could schedule more. However, I would not personally recommend that, so you can give other agents an opportunity to work. Also, I think it's a best practice to allow yourself some wiggle room in the case of any illness or family emergencies you may have to tend to.

@@TeacherDaesha in time to help me out 😉 thank you. Need to pass a test in next 2 weeks, so i have a much better idea of the time commitment for LO now.

How much is the Background Check?
I have received a teams interview regarding LiveOps. Is that a normal circumstance i worry about scams
Is that Poison Ivey on your wall? JK! Thanks 4 the video!
😂🤣Thanks for the laugh and for watching!
Otherwise, you can be an LLC and use your SS number.
don't need an EIN, you only need it if you open a business banking account
@@moon22sister1Thank you, I was so worried about doing my taxes as an independent contractor.

However there might not be a lot of positions for you to use it in.
there are many health care positions out there to work from home
@@trulyworkfromhome6767 can you tell me a few
@@trulyworkfromhome6767 can you list them. Please
Just curious about the split screen, every company I have worked for had a place on the call record for notes, so why do you need a split screen? Can you elaborate on this?
Great vid. Quick question, in the zoom meeting training is it a 1 on 1 and does your camera have to be on at all times?
Thanks! It is a group session where we are split into breakout rooms of about 50 agents and 1 trainer. And your camera does not need to be on at all. In fact, they don't allow you to turn on your camera during the sessions.
@@TeacherDaesha only 50 agents? right now the class size in over 100 in each break out room!. It is a bit chaotic right now honestly....
Does Liveops require you to purchase software?
I tried to sign up but couldn’t figure it out. I filled out everything (paperwork) and sent it in but they sent it back to me within a week🤷♀️ nothing against them I guess I was just new & didn’t know what to do.
Hi, Thanks so much for this information. Just applied with them. Are you able to work with Liveops and another work from home company? If they don't have enough calls available would like to be able to make income through another company as well if allowed. Thanks again!!!
Hello. Where is the link for the Tips and Hints for Newbies? Thank you
I love the Korean culture as well…
What is alternative to live ops? Other work for home jobs?
I just signed up for and got accepted. I hear alot about working with Bath & Body Works, what are the peak hours for them?? I don’t see them listed.
Thank you!
Hey congratulations!.. can you tell me if there is evening hours for certification and whats the time zone their on?
@@Herstylee the trainings are available (LIVE) 10 am OR 5pm... BBW... you have to attend those (one each day) 2 hours at a time.
I go to college everyday from 9am to 12pm but I'm available to work from home from 1pm to 8pm. Would live ops be a good choice for me ?
Yes. Or
Arise

Where would you find the info on if a specific company requires you to be on a camera?
I have a full time job 8 am to 5pm eastern, are there any training classes set up for evenings? I want to have extra income coming in, but there's no training classes for evenings there all morning training classes.
so even if you're online, ready and "committed" but receive no calls, you don't get paid? so you get paid per call?
can i use a bose bluetooth headset
Should I try to join live ops now for the holiday season?
I got accepted. But I need to enroll so I can put in my invoices. Was your training 2 weeks long? I bought the Logitech usb headset.
How do I be a member of this company liveops....
Can you have tmboile or Verizon internet service and use a ethernet cable for it with LiveOps?
My resume was 'considered' by Liveops and I am not sure if I should try it considering that it will get me more experienced with my medical administrative, plus I'm in need of another job
I'm sorry you were given such a vague response. Have you heard anything from them yet? If not, were you able to find another job?
so i have done the application background check direct deposit and have received confirmation everything has been varified now im starting the erollment process but its asking me for a verfication code to get started whre do i get the verification code can you please direct me in the right direction please thanks
Anyone knows how it pays on the minutes, like if i have a 30 min. commit do I get pay for 30 minute pay or just time on the phone?
Call time.
U said we'd need a study buddy does that mean we're going to be doing a lot of studying or have to take a test for certification?
Do they have part time positions and 2nd or 3rd shift
If I just plug my computer into the TMOBILE Device does that 'suffice" I get required speeds.. etc.. just confused.
@@caelidhg6261 wired connection literally just means you plugging the Ethernet cord in your computer so it’s “connected” dear. So YES it is suffice cause what you explained is exactly what it means lol it means using the wires and plugging it in
So is the pay per minute while on a call, and if so, how much? Or do you get paid a specific amount per call regardless of length of call, and if so how much? Thank you!!!!!
It depends on the job. It will say per call or per hour
Do you need a physical land line (connection in the wall) as part of the equipment requirements?
No, you don't. Most companies are up to date now and use VOIP.
Thanks!
Approximately how long did it take to complete the training? Thanks
Depend on the client 2 or 3 weeks some are couple of days
Jmar is correct. I have done a 1 week fast track training before.
Hi is there a background check fee for liveops. I have completed the app and was transferred to a site called sterling; which is suppose to conduct a background check for an 25 dollar fee. Someone let me know if its legit or not.
Jane Butler, it's legit and fast..
I just want to know what the heck they do
Hi Mona! You can find out more about LiveOps and how they operate in this video: ua-cam.com/video/UNdtdSYpq-8/v-deo.html
@TeacherDaesha No thank you. It's giving pyramid scheme.
Someone has contacted me saying they work for live ops but their asking for my social and access to my ID me I don’t feel comfortable giving this information through text is this their normal process?
Never just share your social with anyone contacting you like that. And no... they won't contact you asking for socials or ID.
Are there typing requirements…
any type of Drug testing? I dabble in a bit of herb usage . lol
No drug testing that I am aware of.
Did you pay for your background check?
Can I start in the us and then work let’s say Thailand? Will they notice?
Is it normal to only be offered 3 small jobs?
did i get myself into trouble i havent heard from liveops since having to change my name at ss and inform them of my married name not matching my openforce
Hi Destini. That's an interesting question. I don't think that would be a problem. Have you signed up with a client yet?
How about the pay?
Are the calls coming through your computer?
Yes they are
Is there a lot of work available during night shifts or even late nights?
you apply for either FULL TIME OR Evening and weekends.. .
In my experience, it depends on the company you sign up with. When I was with Bath and Body Works I could pretty much work whenever I wanted. But with TurboTax I could hardly find work. That's why I haven't been back to Liveops yet.
@@TeacherDaesha are you with another company related to LiveOps
@@meyonmastermind7497 Not at the moment. The last company I was with. I could barely get any hours. So I decided to stop since I didn't have much time to spend on them anyway 🙃
Are you expected to be on camera during these Zoom meetings/trainings?
Thank you for the great IWIK tips, I have a question. I completed all my intro and am ready to select a client, however opportunities has been empty the entire time, How do I know the opportunities will show up as well as how often do they show up so I can choose a customer?

I'm 120 self-scheduled 1⁄2 hour time blocks per month with a company starting middle of April. Can I schedule more than that, or is that frowned upon?
Hi Mary! You could schedule more. However, I would not personally recommend that, so you can give other agents an opportunity to work. Also, I think it's a best practice to allow yourself some wiggle room in the case of any illness or family emergencies you may have to tend to.
