yes bro distance = 10 . for example, if a man covered A to B = 5m and B to A = 5m / then distance = 10m - but displacement is shortest distance b/w to 2 points right then AB - BA = 0 simple , help others with a smile....

If the boy started from the home to school then when he reach the school then the school will be the final position right? Then only while starting from the school it will be the initial position then after reaching home then the home will be the final position right?

Anna but disp is both direction and magnitude , right ?. If I go front and come back to same position , direction has changed .............. What I mean is calculation wise disp is zero ........ but concept wise direction is changing right ?
