She may not be the the tallest or whatever, but she uses what she has beautifully. That's what dance is about: using what you have to do what you love. She's a lot closer to the ideal than I am and I haven't given up. Neither should you!
(cont.)There are plenty of short dancers who look tall on stage. It may be hard, but finding out how to use your body to the fullest is what it's all about. I'm sure you're a beautiful dancer, so just keep working and enjoying dance :-D
Well grace and talent goes a long way. Of course you need to be realistic and realize that there are some companies you won't fit into, but there are plenty of places who will be grateful for your talent regardless of your body shape. What has helped me get over my body insecurities (although it still bothers me at times) is not focusing on the mirror or comparing myself to other people, and instead focusing on finding more length and growth in my movements.

i know, but it makes me upset to see in the mirror, what i don't have is ballet body, i mean i have the grace and natural talent and all, but i am short, and i have your typical japanese body, and u can CLEARLY tell with me, short legs, long torso, short arms.
maybe she 's good at technique,but when I see her body shape, wow, she sucks!That is a typical japanese body.....short legs,short arms,and look at her back! that really sucks.She shouldn't involve in Ballet at the begining.
Different continents, different bodies, different schooling, different styles. No one perfect style. What is important is the artistry and the heart of the performer! There are plenty of long legged, skinny dancers out there, with 'perfect' techniques - that leave you cold because that's all they have. That is not art. Hopefully one day you will be wise/mature enough to understand!
What a terrible reply and completely inaccurate, obviously to be a principal at the Royal Ballet, she had every business being involved in ballet. One body type and one style of dancing is very boring...

ぜんまい仕掛けのオルゴール人形のように正確な躍りでありながら退屈せず、見ていてスカッとするような爽快さがあって、これは吉田さんならではの素晴らしいスキルによるものだと改めて感心しました。ローザンヌでよく解説するときに使われる『砂糖菓子のような美しく可憐な舞』とはまさにこの事だと思います。
