- Enjoy this recording of a jazz piano master class recorded at Eastern Connecticut University on Oct 16, 2023. The sound isn't great but jazz piano freaks may find this interesting haha)
Wow. So lucky to be able to learn from you while being trapped in a cold, windy corner somewhere in Iceland.
please join us online every Saturday for a 2 hour live interactive Zoom master class. The Zoom address is 579 664 6371, no password. Every week we have a growing community of 20+ jazz pianists. There is curriculum teaching, Q+A, you can play if you want) There is a $5 fee per student paid on the honor system...it super fun and I can work with you live if you like)
Thank you! What time exactly will that start, and in which time zone?
it's every Saturday from 2-4 PM New York time@@duoxiao929
Great class at Eastern!! This was all quite amazing - later on, he gave little demos of how different players would have approached the same tune. It was a mini-history of jazz.
thanks Prof Anthony for the opportunity to work with your fine students at your excellent school) Blessings and Keep Swingin
@@DaveFrank It also should be noted that I was generally impressed with the whole "talk and play" thing. I'm still working on those separately...😜
It happened as a result of war wounds I sustained in World War 1
