Thank you for this video. I was one of those diagnosed in my 50's just recently. My symptoms seemed to have increased since having Covid 6 months ago. I just consulted with the Neurosurgeon and he recommended surgery. My Neurologist was who ordered 1st a EEG, which discovered I was having seizures which was a shock. She then ordered an MRI and I got another shock.....but it all made sense. I've had various symptoms all my life especially the bad headaches, swallowing and breathing issues at times, blurred vision, pain in eyes, ringing in the ears and feeling of water in my ears. It's so crazy to have had it this long and never had a MRI despite going to my primary care doctor for various symptoms over the years. Thank God I trusted my instincts and insisted to be tested with everything especially post covid. Every test of kidneys, heart...etc were fine. He said the only thing left was to refer to Neurologist. So, here I am with 2 diagnoses!!
I am going for an MRI to check for Chiari. My great aunt passed away from it, and my dad also has it. I’m turning 30 this summer and the past year I’ve had back of the head headaches and choking on my food/beverages every meal. It’s worth checking!
