- I recently bought the Neewer CM32 Wireless Microphones after using cheap lapel mics and the Neewer CM28.
I like both of them, so I am unsure which ones to keep.
CM28 ~$85
Pros:
Recordings are also saved on the microphones
Magnetic clip
Better display
Better build quality
Adjustable gain
Cons:
Heavy carry case
Flimsy windscreen
More expensive then the CM32, but still cheaper than DJI and others
Two piece adapter
CM32 - ~$35
Pros:
Cheaper
Lighter
Simple to use
One piece adapter
Cons:
No gain adjustment
Cheaper build
No magnetic clip (but I made one)
I think that I will end up keeping the CM32 since I do not need much of the fancy features and just want to hit record and go! Plus I was able to 3D print the magnetic adapter.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Obviously the mic is also picking up some of the room audio. But I am hearing two audio signals coming from you, They are very tight. But slightly out of phase. So I'm thing I'm hearing the left and right mic.
@@peterharoldjanakjr2078 that is possible. Thanks for pointing it out. I did not notice when editing.
@@hankhoffmeier5466 Put some headphones on. It sounds a bit like you are in a tunnel. Did you have noise canceling turned on?
@@peterharoldjanakjr2078 not that I was aware of.
@@hankhoffmeier5466 I just tested mine via OBS. I have zero sound reduction treatment in my space. So I guess it could just simply be that. But, I'm hearing it too. When I go to work I'll test it in our treated voice over booth. That'll cancel out any room audio. I'll get back to you
It would be good to compare the audio with both cm28 vs cm32 microphones, thanks
I made follow up with a simple audio comparison: ua-cam.com/video/GymijrPhsV0/v-deo.html
I bought the CM32 but it doesn't record when I use the video recording app from my galaxy phone. Am I doing something wrong?
@@wolvestribe6435 I just tested with Voice Memo on my iPhone and worked fine. I just plugged in the adapter and recorded.
I just got mine. I have a Galaxy S10. Remove any case that's on your phone. That's the one thing I hate about these wireless mics that use this or similar usb interface. They never consider that you might have a case on your phone. The case always impedes the USB interface from seating properly. So you know. It works perfect with my stock camera app. We shall see if it works in TikTok. It should.
@@peterharoldjanakjr2078 I have a pretty slim case that does not hinder the adapter at all, but I can see where thick cases would be an issue.
@@hankhoffmeier5466 Yeah. not impossible. I prefer Otter box range of thicknesses. I think any time a tool requires your phones charge port. An extension for the port should be included with the tool.
