the Quintanilla did a great job in keeping her legacy alive...its been 27 years since she passed and yet she's still relevant her music is still going stronger 💪 👏 a legend indeed
I love Selena so much but this album such a low quality production. Some fans are blinded just because they love Selena but if you want high quality remixes listen to Enamorada de ti, released in 2012. That album was produced by big names in the industry. AB does not have the equipment nor the knowledge to produce an album for 2022 masses. Sad, I think this album is just damaging her musical legacy.
Imagine people who don’t know Selena and this is the first album they hear of her? They will never listen to her again.
What I would give for a modern electronic remix of Captive Heart or No Quiero Saber. This album was such a disappointment, and it makes sense knowing it was just the family working on it. It has no heart, no real instruments, every single cumbia remix sounds the same. I miss when they actually did the effort to make quality mixes with great producers. Anthology and Enamorada De Ti are leagues better remix albums than this hollow snooze fest.
Yes! Why Not work with 2022 Producer's outside the Quintanilla Clan.? They want that money to stay in the family 100%!! Is this about her Legacy or Making that Money? 💰 💰

Omfg!! This album is terrible!! The auto-tune was bad and the same jamaican beat from a CASIO keyboard on most of the songs...the lyrics weren't syncing with the music and overall it was poorly made, as a die-hard fan this was a total let-down and cannot support this album, how tone-deaf do y'all really think we are...first time I truly feel dissapointed.

I love Selena, loovvvee her! Really love her, this might be unpopular opinion but her vocals are good but the way it was produced it doesn't match on how she is singing. It needed to be more of a modern ballad sound

I agree! Some fans are just so insanely obsessed they ignore the fact of how bad quality this is.
Very much agree, but even the cumbia mixes they did just had no heart to it. It also doesn't help that it sounds like it was all done artificially, none of the cumbias sound like they were done with real instruments. The mariachi style remixes were ok though, but mariachi is hard to do wrong.

The only thing it moved me to do was listen to the original songs. I did not enjoy it.

The album was unnecessary… it doesn’t sound like her or capture her voice in anyway it sounds distorted. I would have been one thing to just release what she had already recorded it layering it and remastering it was so bad…but that just my opinion maybe others will disagree and that’s ok.
The album unfortunately is underwhelming and I think an injustice. I hope that for the new generation it Atleast gets them curious enough to look at the past albums, especially the originals.

I just finished listening to the album and I have to say...it's fantastic!!! The beats are so good, very up to date and her voice is just incredible. You wouldn't know that these songs were recorded back in the 80's. It's a great album to listen to during the summer.

Why couldn’t they make newer/current sounding musical arrangements? AB’s style is trapped in the past. They should let younger current popular producers work on Selena’s music.

It seems to me that the powers at be know that anything with Selena’s name attached to it is gonna be big, and it goes without saying. In my opinion I feel like that’s why new Selena content falls short and doesn’t feel like it was well thought out and loved. 😒 If nothing new was released it wouldn’t even matter because Selena is one of those artist who’s no longer with us and is still relevant no matter how much time has passed. We, her fans, make sure of it. 🌹🙏🏽❤️

Yo logré hacerlo audible con el programa Audacity, de verdad la voz está muy lenta y la hace sonar fea y sin gracia.

This is crazy to me because when I went to the store just looking around and once’s I was walking to leave and I turn my head and I saw Selena’s CD I felt like something said to me turn around and then once I got the cd I made sure no one got it haha , because there was two girls next to me after that I went again and they restocked of the Selena’s new album.

Wow, cant believe what im hearing. I myself thought this album was wonderful, she obviously recorded those songs at one point. Of course her brother is gonna produce it, hes always been her right hand man when it came to her music, im not a die heart fan but i think the music sounds great.
