    DP Art Drawing: *See's video accidentaly suggesting a way they cheat their work*
    *Responds with complete politeness and dignity, disproving said theory and complementing Jazza regardless*
    Jazza: *sees response. Takes time to make second video humbly apologising, compliments artist greatly, and with humility, retries, gets a great result, learns something new*
    This. This is the behaviour I like. No talking shit, no tearing eachother down. Just polite conversation, apologies for unintended insinuations, learning something new and building eachother up. This is the art community I love.
    Edit: *yes yes I know it’s not technically an apology and that he didn’t need to apologise because he did nothing wrong but the video has an apologetic tone in the sense that he entirely didn’t mean to insinuate she was lying or cheating and was making that clear again. Calm down dudes, I know 😂*

    Back when I was in art school there was an artist there who could composite three photographs together while drawing like a printer, so for example he would have a persons face and then an astronaut suit and then a lunar landscape, and then he would combine all three of those mentally and draw it line by line. It was nearly photographic and very weird to watch.

    Art community handling each other's criticisms like class acts.

    • @MCPanda-bl3nc
      @MCPanda-bl3nc 4 роки тому

      Me starts thinking: It must be because at some point in their lives, they've met one, a few, or plenty of those snobs who think they know everything about art and criticize you just bc of their "refined" perception. There's so much to relate as by the fact that they are fellow artists and understand the struggle of experiencing both good and discriminating criticism that they are willing to ACTIVELY communicate and NOT TECHNICALLY assume anything by law and learn from mistakes, especially when what you thought was impossible has actually been done VeRy well already. LOL The problem with communities like the makeup industry is that 1. Focus on beauty (self image specifically) can end up with unhealthy dynamics Real quick if not handled the way the art community here does.
      2. A lot of people who care about their appearance can easily fall into trains of thought about beauty standards that doesn't result in healthy behavior. Genuine artists who like to draw I feel are less likely to form particular opinions on how things should be and fall for 'standards' because setting some kind of standard on how things should roll that doesn't encourage being allowed to explore already goes against the idea of art.
      Basically, the usual dramatic communities they are that way because they tend to stick to unnecessary ideals while in the art community, being yourself and expressing yourself through different healthy outlets is encouraged. Not to mention that makeup being directly in industries where self image is important obviously breeds unhealthy dynamics if left to do so.
      Edit: and some people can't get enough of drama [can't relate].

    Being a musician, I've pretty much stopped saying something must be a cheat or fake. If you spend a lot of time practicing something, you'll end up being able to do things that normal people see as fake.. Normal people have trouble patting their head and rubbing their belly.. As a drummer I can move my left leg in a square, right leg in a triangle and tap my head and rub my belly at the same time. It's not even that hard, it's just a result of doing a thing that other people don't have to do for a long time. I'm also pretty much ambidextrous due to drumming, which also isn't a thing for normal people.
    Now I take this into account: I'm a mediocre drummer... What could a properly good drummer do in terms of stuff that seems like cheats and nonsense? They can play super fast double stroke rolls with their feet on the bass drum.. That's something I'll never even come close to doing half-well. It looks and sounds like cheating, but it's very much real.
    People can get insanely good at stuff.. Like really really really crazy good.

      99% of youtube "artists" are just that... people who are very talented youtubers, but awful at art ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, same goes for music and everything else, although music is more difficult because there is less room for error. Regular people tend to listen to much more music, but don't pay attention to visual arts. Thats why videos like "I draw a perfect circle" gather millions of views for no reason.

      @@smolpeepee9756 Well, in a previous video (link in description) Jazza attempts the "draw like a printer" kind of style. However, he suggests that it was possible that the original creator/artist **might** have used a trick -- which is tracing over a picture and using video editing to hide the photo under the paper.
      The original artist made a response and corrected Jazza saying they didn't do the said trick/cheat, explaining the actual method behind "draw like a printer" ---- and so, here we are.
