  • ". . . Diseases that afflict Americans are unnatural. They're not the result of genetics, predominantly from aging. In other words, cancer, heart attacks, strokes, dementia don't have to happen. And they shouldn't happen if we live in a manner in to live the way the bodies have been made and biologically designed." - Dr. Joel Fuhrman
In a world that often prioritizes convenience over health, where processed and fast foods dominate our plates, achieving a disease-free life may seem impossible.
The situation may be different, though, if there's a hidden superpower in nutrition that could unlock a healthier life filled with vitality, longevity, and most importantly, an unwavering sense of well-being.
And there is. Enter the Nutritarian diet, where the remarkable synergy of macronutrients and micronutrients promises to be the ultimate game-changer.
Here's what you need to know about the standard American diet, calories, micronutrients, and more.

You are your own best health advocate.
Eat a healthy whole food plant based diet, reduce stress, get adequate sleep and exercise regularly.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. You will be healthier, happier and have lower transportation and health care expenses. Make a bicycle your first choice for short distance travel.

Thank you Dr Fuhrman for being such a warrior for the truth and health. I’ve been a nurse for 37 years and most of my patients are sick because they eat the American diet. I love the nutritarian diet!! My daily lunch salads make me so happy!! I have a small vegetable garden and I go outside and eat from it! It’s great to be full on good food! Keep up the good work and fight for truth and health!! Thank you !

Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices. Fasting should be investigated as a treatment for disease.

Schools teach nothing about nutrition and health, how to handle money, or relationships. When we turn 18, they throw us to the sharks.

You're absolutely correct but big food and big pharma have malignantly infiltrated the system and anything not generating revenue. Like Dr. Greger said, the system is set up that way so that lifestyle medicine takes a backseat.

There is a hospital in Philly that makes very delicious cheesesteaks and fries. 😟 and they had fresh red velvet cupcakes with the best looking icing. We dont eat like that now, but when we did...

So should we not eat animal products at all or are there some crucial micronutrients from animal products so that eating them sometimes is necessary?
