I went thru exactly what u are experiencing. Cut out the sulfate shampoos etc. Hot oil treatments work good to open those cuticles. If ur scalp is excessively dry, it can cause the burning, stinging, and itching. Now, alopecia can cause that type of pain as well. Gently massage with a natural oil 2 to 3 x a wk.
