  • An outside tour of the Lagoon 42 Catamaran Water Dragon. This is a probably boring overly detailed tour of the outside of the boat, but of interest to anyone wanting to purchase or charter one. Port forward berth will be shown on the upcoming overly detailed inside tour.

Cool boat it doesn't look fast and sleek ,she looks like a comfortable world traveler.

Great tour video. Wish more like this were done for other popular cats. When watching others, i'm always asking (myself) what's in there, what was that, where's this or that, etc. Great job.

berndog3 thank you. I was thinking the same thing when I was looking at them! The interior tour has a lot of extra detail too, and I've got the dealer walk through on film. Never even thought there was such a thing as an emergency tiller.

cynikalX Thanks for asking. You can find the charter rates and contact info here:
      www.nanaimoyachtcharters.com/sailboat-charter-rates-info/
Charter rates are in Canadian dollars and I have asked them to further discount the off season rates. The contact info for booking is on that page as well. You have to call them directly for up to date rates, specials and availabilities.

Is the manifold that appears at 3:01 for oil changes? If so, does it lead to both the engine and sail drive?

Robert Wittmer thanks. I will show more detail in the upcoming dealer walk through videos. At 3:01, you mainly see the diesel heater and ventilation system. The oil cap is at 3:14 for the engine, it is orange. The sail drives are to the stern of the engine and separate. You can almost make the fluid cap for it out at 3:22.

Water Dragon Thanks for the reply. I was referring to the three valve manifold mounted on the forward bulkhead of the engine compartment. I have just taken delivery of L42#61 and am considering fabricating a Reverso type oil change system. I thought perhaps that was the purpose of the manifold Thanks for the great videos!

Robert Wittmer I will check for sure but I think that manifold is for switching between the two diesel tanks. I'll let you know if I am mistaken. Congratulations on #61!

Water Dragon Thank you. I hadn't considered a fuel application for the valve manifold. We don't have the ability to select which fuel tank is being used nor can we transfer between tanks. That is a capability that we"ll be adding.

Robert Wittmer I checked it out and it is actually the fuel line for the diesel heater.
