  • Ingredients:
    7 lbs beef shanks
    3 large onions
    3 garlic gloves
    Salt, pepper, turmeric
    1/4 cup oil
    1-2 cups water
    Take above ingredients and cook in pressure cooker for 20-30 minutes. Meat should be slightly tender and not falling off the bones.
    Then transfer all meat into another pot.
    Add another 3 large onions sliced
    Add salt, pepper, turmeric, (as needed)
    Add fresh pepper and garlic three gloves sliced
    Add the beef broth from earlier and cook on medium heat for another 20 minutes
    Now add the sliced green pepper and sliced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
    At this point your dopiaza is ready you can serve it or place in over for another 10-15 minutes to get nice golden colour.
