Cleaning lens elements Kern Paillard SWITAR 1:1.6 f=10mm H16 RX

Kern Paillard SWITAR 1:1.6 f=10mm H16 RX with very dirty lens elements, and this lens really have another big problem with the focus assembly, because someone had damage the focus helicoid with heavy tools (I will try to repair it..., sooner).
BUT on the other hand, the cleaning of the lens elements with "Eclipse" or Hydrogen Peroxide 3%, turned out to be very good.
In the end of the video, I will show 2 pictures how the difference between before and after.
It is a HUGE success
REMEMBER: to set small mark on the focus helicoid assembly and on the mount, inline with index mark, BEFORE you UNSCREW the 3 small set screws on the focus ring, just to keep the correct focus.

So what happens if I was being a dumb dumb and tried adjusting my focus ring, ending up unscrewing the back part of the lens, and didn’t make a mark as to how it lines up? How can I go about fixing that?

where can you get the tiny screws for lenses? I have one of these and some kinoptiks that are a mess and miss screws

Hi, this is unrelated to this video but I have a question about a lens I need help with. I have to remove the front ring around the front element of a canon NFD 24 mm F2, I tried to twist it off and it did not seem to budge. Would you know if on this particular lens the ring is glued on or threaded? I have seen you fix other Canon nfd lenses and they vary between the two. I love your channel and keep up the great work.
