Pro-Palestine protesters flee Portland State University library as police enter the building

  • Around 9 a.m., dozens of people bolted from Portland State University’s Millar Library after police moved in Thursday morning to clear it out. Pro-Palestinian protesters had been occupying the building for the last three days, demanding that Portland State sever relationships to business interests with ties to the Israeli military in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war.
