Such an original idea Tina, I like it. We do have brit box in Canada, I love the series Vera, my favorite.
I took a pottery class once with my sister and two nieces. My seat was near the class room door. I turned my pottery wheel and put clay on top, well it was turning to fast and clay went out the classroom door. Till this day we all remember and die laughing.

Hi Tina, couple of things……I watched a Patricia Viramontes video and she used your Bird kit. Posted about 7 months ago. So of course I had to get the kit and then some. 😊. About the men that compete in weight lifting. There are so many types of lifting. My son does Olympic style lifting and competes nationally here in U.S. he works full time and has to travel for work. He finds gym that will let him come in to do his training. Most gyms love having him there. He has gone to Nationals for several years and Team USA took him to Cuba for an International competition. It is very exciting to watch in person. Thank you for sharing all your. Ideas and tie with us. Take care!!!
🐦🌸Hey Tina, 16 that's quite a mass make. The one you decorated turned out so cute. I think I would try and turn the flap into a tuck spot or make a pocket to cover over the flap. Of course only if it is a glued down style.

You cracked me up over the raw & somehow burned cauliflower.😂 I love to roast cauliflower, but it has to be at a high heat setting in my oven. I wish I had an air fryer.
I will have to check those shows out. It isn't available on Britbox that I could find but there is other station that might have them.

Many years ago I went with my 11 yr old son to throw clay on the pottery wheel. I had never done it before, nor had my son. I made a perfectly balanced small vase and my son made a shallow dish. His was almost perfect as well. It was quite easy to make it smooth after getting the feel of the wheel and a couple of flops. I found if I didn't worry about what he was doing I was able to focus on my wheel and it was done in no time. Then we chose the colour glaze we wanted and picked it up a week later. My son is 27 this year. We still have them. They explain how to do it very clearly.

How fun!!! I have a degree in ceramics and have taught many many classes, both wheel throwing and hand building. I used to throw tiny little pots and vases for a miniature shop. The scale was about 1 inch = 1 foot(12 inches) 🙂 I have a pottery wheel at home in my potting shed (not for plants, but for pottery 😂😂) When I was teaching at a Ceramics Guild I used to get students who would think they could make huge vases like Demi Moore did in that movie "Ghost". It truly made me laugh! I actually STILL laugh when I think of how serious they were that they would be able to accomplish that skill level on their first try. 😂

We go do pottery "classes" quite often. We don't use the wheel. We kind of make quite large things like chubby bunnies, a cross, flower pot people, donkeys, etc. There is something so satisfying working with clay. Of course I used to love playing with my kids' modeling clay so it's right up my alley. I am sure you and your daughter are going to have tons of fun.
Awww, Tina, you just crack me up! I giggled thinking of you at the potting wheel, images of lumps of gooey clay spinning off in all directions! I wish I could go with you! You should definitely go get your pieces, I bet they won’t be that awful! Maybe not gorgeous, but good for laughs through the years! (I’m sure your daughter will want hers!) I think you can make a ring in a pottery wheel making class, so you "may" be able to make something small that can be used in or on a journal. I'm sure you'll find out when you go. Great video. Loved it.

Hi Tina love this idea. I live in western Australia and we haven't had and rain just the odd sprinkle. Since about end of October to now and still. None. Most people are hanging out for rain but after a few days start complaining we're a funny lot we humans. It's been very hot to hot for man or beast. Couldn't even craft 😢.any how have a happy Easter.🎉😘

My mom gives me cooked beans and puts them in a food sealer and freezes them. My husband loves beans. I make chicken enchiladas with green sauce and Spanish rice. We usually have enough for 2 meals when I make them. When my boys were in 5th grade they went camping for 5 nights. We went near San Francisco. They didn't mind camping because we used to go camping when they were little. Later they went to another science camp in cabins and the parents could only go for one day. I made handmade cards for the teacher to give my oldest son to read every day. The other kids wanted to see his letters too. Time flies and my boys are 37 and 34 years old. Lol I love (i.e.hoard 🙊) fly sheets. Lol our fancy staplers are so cool 😎. Lol I wouldn't be sat outside eating atm 🙈. Remember when shops didn't open Sundays? Aldi and Lidle food is better quality than M n S and Asda! £2 for beans?😱😄 Gordon Bennett! They mentioned snow for Easter🤷. Did you forget your fancy stapler honey? Lol camping outdoors is madness in England anyway. You're a SUPERMUM! Pull ups? WOW! I think the strong men do the circuits of competitions with sponsors. There's always something lovely in your shop! Yes I love your puzzle pieces😁. So sad about princess Catherine, the way they hounded her was awful. How would they like it? Also poor William, his wife and Dad! I really like Catherine, 42 I think. My mother in law just got diagnosed with it, surgery soon! Prayers for them all. Oh Catherine has colon cancer. They operated but didn't get it all 😔. Lol my pots always ended up flying off and splatting😄. You HAVE to show us what you make! It's a panic thing with me because it's spinning 🙈. Lol imagining you trying to make a charm on there🙊. I love cauliflower cheese but it's a migraine Russian roulette😄. I don't get along with my air fryer AT ALL, it just dries everything. We use it for chips and chicken strips lol. Gorgeous 😍, always fun! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
