I enjoy all the tours. I lived in a 1988 Prestige for 20 years and had some good times with my neighbors. Eventually saved enough money to buy a house in town 12 years ago. Great alternative for living.
Thank ya’ll for this video-Iam not able to afford a house-this video shows me that I could possibly afford to get a house -ya’ll gave me ideas outside the box-GOD BLESS ✝️💕ya’ll-ya’ll give people like me ideas to help us😊have a roof over our heads👍
Tiffany, I purchased a used (repossessed) mobile home in the 1980s. We lived there for seven years. It allowed my husband to pay off his debts during that time. It sold to a young couple in our park in less than a week after listing it for sale. It sold for the same amount that I paid for it seven years earlier. No appreciation but we left with some money that allowed us to make a downpayment on our first home. If we had rented all that time, we would have walked away with nothing. Good luck!
What you guys call 'Particle Board', we call 'Chipboard' here in Western Australia. We have: Chipboard, MDF, Plywood, and Masonite. Masonite is much more waterproof than MDF is, it is also more compressed than MDF. MDF swells up something bad when water touches it, Chipboard can at least handle water.
Yes--You have to consider the rehab cost ( woodworking, plumbing, elec, aesthetics [paint, wallpaper, light fixtures] and then labor and overhead costs to actually meet or exceed your bottom line 👍
@@mybrotherdonnie why can't that mobile home dealership fix all of those and donate all of those mobile homes to people in North Carolina so they could be in a home for thanksgiving instead of waiting for FEMA to help them FEMA is not I repeat FEMA is my doing a damn thing for any of those people but rejected each and every one who applied for aid or help

I would be curious to know how much a unit this size, in this condition would go for. I’m probably way off, but in my mind it would be worth a few hundred dollars.
Most all of his single wise he does owner finance for 25,000. I did not call and ask about this particular one but every other one on the lot has been 25,000.
Hey fellers can you just make an offer for the home but pay the price for delivery and the set up? We looked at some real doozys when me and my father in law were looking for a home but thank god we found the one we did. Minimal work inside we did have to replace all plumbing.
@@mybrotherdonnie That's for sure. Red is probably the worst color to paint over. Nearly impossible to cover...not to mention the needed repairs before even painting.
I am really enjoying the tours of these mobile homes. It is a good option for housing.
A lot of people say it’s not, but I think it’s at least an option the way the prices are nowadays seems like it’s an option to me

We think so, too
Maybe late 1980s. I am not good to figuring out when they were built but I like to play along! 😃
Thanks for playing along

Love your videos guys. My mama was born and raised in DOVESVILLE SC.
Thanks
I wish there was a place like this near Nashville, Tennessee. I’d love to just look at them and learn.
The guy told me they was all over the country so you might want to look maybe there’s one close to you
I came for the pinballs but stayed for the mobile homes! Love all the channels!!😊
Thanks glad to have you
She's something to think about. Maybe they'll give you a deal on it. Have a good weekend, catch you next week

Love all your videos. You need help to make your channel better known. I wish I could talk with you without any strings .
The one that you remolded looks nice that ones not that bad, but unfortunately I live in Chicago so I don't think we're zoned for trailer homes.
Some places do not allow them
You got me wandering... How cost efficient would be to pull the tin siding off and replace with viyln siding?
You could do it pretty easy
A lot of work needed
Yep
Looks like someone beat the hell outta it 😮
Yep

Rappers delight... LMFAO!!!!!
😭 that paint color hurts me 🫣
It’s going to hurt their pocketbook when they try to paint over it

Lots of fixing for sure!😂
A lot of times it’s easier with a blank slate
Look here's the deal....ummm.. Come on man..😫😉
This is me pausing the video to play along.. I'm gonna guess 89' is the year of that trailer.... let's see how close i get... to be continued...
Dang, don't think ya'll caught mentioned the year it " actually " was.. or did you and I missed it.
We try to find the year, but nothing told us the year of it
But it’s exactly the same as my 93
I would want a window in bathroom
A lot of people do
LOL, single wide strip club!!

That Trailer is not worth more than 5-6 k with all the work to be done and replacing appliances and all !!!!! No Way is it worth 25k 😠
