- The crew and I had a blast up in La working in this collectors garden. Everything in this garden was so happy that we had to come in and thin some things out. Make sure to get into your garden and check for spring pests. I hope you enjoy the tour!

This was indeed a spectacular garden, the owner must be so proud.
Just wow. You've got to teach them how to treat for pests to save their magnificent specimens.
Thank the owner for allowing you to share this fantastic garden with us. I wish you had slowed down a bit to give us a better look and time to appreciate these unique plants.

I wish I lived in a climate like yours... that would be my idea of heaven.. I am in Canada... we get all four seasons in one day sometimes...lol

What a great video. Oooh.........what I’d give to take those orphaned plants!! I took a huge breath and my husband rushed in and asked me what the matter was! Some of them are BREATHTAKING! It’s the ultimate collectors garden but individual impact is lost. Too much rich food every single day, in the end you crave an omelette! I felt I needed air......and that’s AFTER all those plants were removed. I’d love to know what you’d really do to that garden if the owner would let you. Lol! xx

This video is a treat! Well designed garden and unusual succulents! I hope the owner allows you to treat for insect infestation. It would be a shame to lose any plants or have them disfigured in any way.

This demonstrates how with proper initial planting and design a collectors garden can have a visually pleasing flow to it. I’m sure that your skilled editing of the overcrowded bits will help maintain the wonderful aesthetic .

When you treat for mealybug is spraying enough or fo you need to clean it off and get rid of the dirt around it as well 🤔 Thank you for everything you do and share for all of us 🥰🤗

That is a stunning garden. I do have a question. Can you do a video on how to spray your own garden to prevent mealy bugs and aloe notes. Maybe talk about how often to spray, quantity of dish soap, etc? Can you use watered down vinegar? Will dish soap, etc damage the plants?

That is an Agave Xylonacantha also known as the Agave Swordfish.
Wasn’t this David Hodgson’s garden and he sold the home? I remembered the tour you gave in the Succ club. I also followed him on IG.
