I knew this was coming when Skratch said people were going to start building Wu-Kong as a nuker instead of a supporter/debuffer. Want a really frustrating pvp experience? Add a tanky stone skin high res UDK

@@user-xn8hd9tp7k I think the hybrid build is the best build for 99% of players. Enough accuracy to strip nukers and/or use in hydra, and then still plenty of damage to kill whatever he needs to.

Ash, I have been playing about 2 and a half months. I dont have Sun Wu-Kong or Ronda or Ultimate Deathknight and hated going up against these on teams. I thought all of these were overpowered from a newbie perspective but eventually learned to beat them some of the time. I put everything I had into the Armanz fusion and now have a fighting chance in Arena battles.

Not worried about it. As soon as I max out my Great Hall, I'll stop doing arena. I have both these champs and refuse to use them in arena.
Does Supreme Galek work with his passive as a counter?
Oh, btw this combo took advantage of destroy set on wukong, just put him in a nuker destroy set. No need for buffs, the more HP they destroy the harder it is to manage shields / heals / damage on your part.
It doesn't matter, it's just broken.

I don't have the cooldown champs that are an automatic loss for me, but when Plarium decided to put an unstoppable champ like Armanz out I spent way too much to give myself a chance. My first pick or picks depending on if I won the coin flip had been a combination of Sun Wukong, Pythion and Duchess. Now I always open with Sun Wukong (hoping the other person doesn't have Armanz) and follow up with Armanz and one reviver. Since I know Kong or Armanz will be blocked I don't have to take 2 revivers in case one gets scratched. If he does then the other person will be toast if they don't have two solid speed leads and I get the openning attack.
Armanz is one of the reasons I finally get to use Arbiter in Live Arena once in a while. She almost always got banned before. Won the 5 star Arbiter soul too, so that is fun. If you play Live Arena at all if would be crazy silly not to get him if you could. He is great ban bait if anything else, allowing you to use champs that would otherwise get banned.

oh man. i grew so fond of my nogdar hephrak team that i built after seeing your video on it. Unfortunately i don't have two sun wu kongs, because then i could use make both teams and use them for 3v3 arena :D
Hi Ash, nice video. Was trying this combo too, since Armanz against full stonestin was a thing. My latest combination was Armanz, Sun Wukong, Chaagur, Hephraak. It's tricky withouth a reviver (Pythion or Harima would be safer) but it's crazy fun to see those 4 lock everything.
My Shu-Zhen would grant turn to Georgid, kill your Hephrak and the AOE the rest of your team. Easy win. 😅

It is a pretty baller team.
Its funny that I just came across a team like you mentioned. From APE Rebel with Shu zen, Georgid, duchess and geofred. Had to try it (with pytion for hephraak). Shu zen took no turn and Geofred only as sheep. Duchess was hanging around. I made a record of it.
Your team is better imo, and probably faster ;) Sounds like a nice setup. Yumeko and Nekhret are both on my wishlist.

Great post Ash! With that being said, i do have both and a +2 Wukong and imh opinion both of these guys need to be nerfed. We'll see a ripple in pvp like we've never seen before in the past 4 years.
yeah :/ Live Arena is super annoying since they added Wukong. Everybody uses him and the most annoying thing is that my Rotos can't block revive him even after destroying his health 3 times.
My favorite combo with Armanz is: Arbiter, Ankora, Narses and Armanz for Tank teams. Tormin is a nice touch for speed teams.
Hey ash long time watcher of the channel love the content it’s helped me a lot. For the arena try the wight king and queen Armanz and grand oak padraig.

I built Yoshi a few months ago and it will be fun to test this team out. I also just finished building Padraig though and I think he might be better for this comp.
I mean - remove Tormin from the equation, the only time I struggle with this combo is when they have Stone Skin. Which it's usually that and teams that have better gear than mine, which doesn't seem as hard now considering my best gear with 3 speed sets is only getting my Arbiter to 299 and average gear you got laying about gets your Sun-Wukong in attack boots to 225, let alone the Yoshi. Then again I'm also likely building these two next cause if I can sheep the Stone Skin champ (when there's not 4 of them) maybe I can have a chance, plus I've been looking for an alternative to my Seer team cause it's reliability has been diminishing in arena.
So, how would you tackle this with Armanz and TWO Sun Wukongs? ;)
It'd be pretty hilarious if you put Valkyrie in that UDK spot (in a provoke set?) with accuracy, just for her passive of course

Hi Ash, big fan here!!!! I wish Plarium would create a new Boss to farm fragments for all one-time 7-day Champions like Ultimate Death Knight and Sun Wukong. With other unique rewards. It's a suggestion for players out there who don't have them or any other type of task to get this one-time Champions. What are your thoughts on this??? As for myself, I don't have them and it's a nightmare in the Arena as a FTP.

what really makes some players mad is how accessible sun+armanz is. There are other combos like this (nergigante archer + kymar, warlord + krisk) but spenders are mad because everyone has this
The fact that the champ is accessible doesn’t make spenders mad, it makes everyone mad. Because now, instead of being able to avoid the one or two players, who spent a shit ton on the game and moving on with your life, you have to deal with it on every single team. Overpowered Accessible champs don’t punish spenders they punish everyone.

I was taking a break from raid during the fusion. Came back on the last week and saw all this. You can't even take a healthy break right with this game lmfao
@@garys4204 that’s not what’s going to happen. The whale is going to have this champ and it will be faster than you because they spent more and have better gear. Once this champ goes the match is done. Whale still wins. Now it’s a speed race to see who of the non spenders has faster gear. This isn’t going to make arena easier. It’s going to make it harder.

Hey man, thanks for this great combo, I'll give it a try! But instead of Yoshi, I'll use Bamboo. His A3 is even better for the arena in my opinion, he has a higher base speed and even more tools than Yoshi (Bamboo will finally be useful! :D )
I went down the attack tree for Armanz. Dude can actually smack.
Well, I've pulled my second Wukong today. I'm playing the first one in savage since day 1 and I'm going to build my second one as debuffer/controller. First step - striping buffs second step - nuke. Love it :)
i use that setup. 2 wukongs, armanz and either xena or valk for cut in purposes. stick one of the wukongs in destroy set to make managing any shields very difficult. if you have valk, try her in supersonic. that is amazing and hilarious

Also I've got my first one in savage and cruel. Got him to 8300 ATK, 221 speed, 100% quote and 259% crit dmg. Also trying to get the hands to a crit dmg ascending, which didn't happen after a few re-rolls.
But as far as I can tell: He's nuking a lot and I didn't fear tanky teams. Nekreth there, happy welcome to nuke everyone 🫡
Udk with sheep blessing and wukong is nasty already but udk build must have good chunk of accuracy and resist and defense as well

Have you thought about showcasing someone else instead of tormin and udk for ftp...maybe yakarl, or the sylvan whatchers guy blue something and also vogoth instead of udk...I think that would be an interesting video...I don't have udk or tormin so those were some of my ideas
One thing I've noticed is I'm not running into any armanz really seems like many people didn't go for it or get it
I've already seen way too much of him in Gold 5 classic arena. Very annoying, but so far not too many people build him to survive.

Polymorph is still the main problem. I’m at the point where I started to get matches with krakens that put at least 2 champs with 6 star poly while I don’t have a single S-tier arena champ.
Just using full sheep team to troll the last couple days. 2x Wukong, Armanz and Lix with 6* poly. Rare to actually get the full team in sheep but still fun to mess with.

That duo is sick but still possible to counter hard to do but possible. I guess Plarium will need to consider nurfing the Sheep no? Hahaha I know they will not, but still funny to think about it 😂.
This team definitely works. How it will affect arena time will tell but the sheep rules arena when most arena players seem to hate the sheep. Not going in the right direction

I have been using cardiel, wukong, armanz, and forest daddy pagani or something new dude ally attack speed booster. Them 3 are so broken no one gets a turn ever.

As newish free to player (I've been playing for over a year but I didn't know what I was doing, still kind of don't lol) getting any stat to 500 or more sounds like a pipe dream. I still can't hard mode most dungeons and never get good artifacts
I think both champs are still okay. At first, I feel frustrated with Sun Wukong, but I use anti-reviver champ for that. Then for Armanz, the skills just cannot be blocked and it still can be resisted. Armanz looks OP but not too OP.

I like Gwyndolin for go first Accuracy buff.
It is better to prioritize your sheep specifically for the highest HP champion that is above 50%HP. People don't use sheep properly, and it becomes annoying and that is the reason people rage quit, but if you use it properly to reduce their health and increase their cool downs you can have much more efficient runs.
I can efficiently, take out the king and queen or marichka & taras on the same team, using this strategy

I think i need replace Nogdar with Armanz..although all these sheep can drag out a fight longer than when Nogdar is around. So against sturdier teams i still prefer Nogdar/Wukong.
My team is Ankora, Armanz, Wukong and UDK, Ankora on SUpersonic allows me to cut in if the enemy is using a speed team then follows by Armanz on 4 piece stoneskins and I'm farming almost all team in Arena except if the enemy team have block revive or skill cooldown like Warlord, they are really fun
Also Ankora's A1 is really good in giving either Wukong or Armanz skill back, she's my mini Siphi since I'm an f2p
Wukong pissed me off the most. It got to the point where I put my phone inside the microwave and turned it on. Now I need a new phone and a new microwave. Plus a new outlet.

i have beaten Taras teams with only Armanz, Wu-Kong, Arbiter and Shu Zen. no damage aside from Wu-Kong. it's takes a while but i imagine the enemy gets even more frustrated 😅

#9 year of the Arena was a fail. This year they took a new chance. Is this the wrong path?

Once you play for awhile 386 ain't shit lol. Fully decked out greathall everything fully ascended and worked it's easy to get 400 now
You are early game. I have 256 accuracy on geo without trying.
@@Neuvillete4.6 actually I’m pretty late game. All my great hall points are 7/10 at least I finished the campaign can 1 key nightmare clan boss and got a lot of leggos. I just have absolutely crappy luck at getting the rolls I want. I have to halfway try to get to 230 accuracy. But to put into perspective my fastest champ (arbiter) is 326 which according to the best players and ccs is pretty meh
It's all about perception gear. And definitely max out great hall accuracy.

I'm not sure what other think but he's definitely good for my game, because it counters slow skin, tank meta. Bring back the speed meta baby! I want to be in, out and done with Live Arena as fast as possible ;) I don't mind losing to an Armanz team in 30 seconds and hitting the re-queue button

Me still building an Armaz with Lady Kimi looking at my my UDK and Wukong 🤔
Try Grand Oak Padraig instead of Yoshi. Just make him the fastest. You'll get both those buffs from his passive at the start of his turn. The correct buff for each type of champ as well as increase def for UDK and an ally attack that has a continuous heal for 2 turns on all allies, as well as a1 reducing cooldowns of an ally's skills to get back around to those skills even faster. But I start with the a3 20% turn meter fill + increase spd to let Armanz/Wukon use a skill, then ally attack so he uses his a1 with that chance to cooldown a random ally's skill. It doesn't matter who's, it's absolutely broken

live arena is horrible now with armanz, if he is built correctly you never get a turn. He couldn’t kill my team but after 15 minutes i finally had a rare opportunity to kill the reviver , but majority of the time when i finally got a turn my skills were on cooldown
Add in Pythion with Sun Wukong, Armanz and Tormin and you've got one of my tag arena teams. A lot of fun to use if they're on your side.

Both tormin and armanz are above 300 speed and 600+ accuracy.
Wukong is built for damage with 260 speed and accuracy about 500.
Emic built 300 accuracy and 500+ resist with 260 speed very very good passive to put more opponents skills on cooldown incase they get a turn

Believe it or not I've been playing for years and this is the only time that I've ever reached plat. I did not last long tho 😂 but still what an animal of a 🏆 champ.
@@LJdynamo2024 yea I unfortunately wasn’t able to get him but I run a 330 speed Cardiel with white king and queen and then Marichka Marichka and Ankora both have over 800 resistance but my Cardiel only has like 600

There's plenty of frustrating arena champions that a lot of big spenders own, like Yumeko, Kryxia, Tarichka duo, most of the mythicals tbh, so I think it's a good thing that they gave a chance for the rest of us to have a champion like this.
Yeah I'm end game this combo don't really effect the top trust me I laugh at this combo. And got both never use them have to many more powerful chances. This combo have to go first or will get slauther by the top teams. And high resistance team they have no chance they become useless

I quit live arena. I just can’t compete. It’s so toxic that all the fun is gone.
If Armanz is on the team or even solo, I walk away. I shudder to think of fighting him when he's paired with Wukong. If I have nightmares Ash, I'm blaming you. 😂

My 600k arena team almost lost to Armanz and a Lydia at 130k. Armanz was just fast with a lot of acc and my team could do nothing. It was only a single resist that turned the battle after around 8 turns of no resists and i managed to nuke Armans to death.
All you need is Armanz and he can win almost every single fight solo.

Those who have her might just start pulling Ronda out of retirement since you can shut off her A3 to gain immunity to turn meter reduction, and her A2 can at least lock out one of these annoying champs for 2 turns.

With Plarium, you know that the BS-o-meter just keeps being dialed up over 9000!
Her A2 is a perfect counter to Wukong. Locks out his passive. It's basically a block revive of Wukong
Yep, Armanz has killed arena. Someone used him on their team against me. Hr was 5* and 3 star acended, and he stunned me and I was taken out. Done with it already.
