I use the same feed my pond is a lot smaller than yours but it was about the same it took about a month of doing that every evening and now the beam look like parana lol but the bass don't really eat it they will come up and get the bream and minnows feeding on the feed though
I bought some a few months ago from TSC . The last time I was there they are out of all kinds of feed and they told me they were having trouble getting help just go unload the trucks
Takes a while for them to learn the sound of it hitting the water. I call it ringing the dinner bell. Mine now know the sound, feel, of my four-wheeler coming and it looks like a hundred torpedo's coming to my feeding spot now when I feed mine.
That food is okay but if you want to grow big fish Purina Aquamaxx mvp is gold. The amount of phosphates you're adding to the water by over feeding is going have adverse effects by algae and plant blooms. 1/4 cup is all you need.
Yes I really like the Aquamaxx and I also am a big fan of Optimal fish feed. Agreed that overfeeding will create an algae issue if not consumed. All this food is consumed in a feeding, 1/4 cup isnt enough to benefit the fish in this pond, it would be completely useless to even feed at all with that amount.
@@CountryHobbyist The fish feeding in your video wouldn't consume a 1/4 cup within 15 minutes. I hear ya on 1/4 cup not being enough today. I am sure this fish know to feed now.
I think its really hard to measure this. We have been catching bigger bluegill but I dont know if thats due to time of year of if this product is working. I have had other people comment that they have caught the biggest gills out of the pond for years. They are not monsters but good progress. hopefully with a feeder this year will start to make a change.
A little over 2.5 acres. I added a feeder this year. I hope to have that video posted tomorrow (7/6/22) on the feeder. Can barely find this feed right now, I’ve been buying a Floating feed from Kent.
I do this all the Time when I’m fishing as a cheat trick feeding activity produces more feeding activities feed the small fish then the big fish respond to the small fish behavior and I get bites every cast doubt that
Your doing it right keep your kids evolved enjoy that lake it looks like a good one
