The Creeper is back and this time he's set his sights (and stomach) on a bus filled with teenagers. In many ways Jeepers Creepers 2 is a bigger and badder sequel while in many more ways its one of the most strangely executed horror sequels you can find. Despite its flaws, is Jeepers Creepers 2 a worthy sequel to the classic original?

The "scarecrow" scene at the beginning is great, Ray Wise was the best, and I actually loved seeing Derry again as sort of a warning/vision
Yeah it was nice seeing Derry again ray wise was great
Probably one of the only scenes that's scary at day light
Very true.
I feel like Jeepers Creepers 1 is sorta like Alien. More isolated- concentrating on a smaller group of people- more horrific and gory. Jeepers Creepers 2 is like Aliens- faster paced- more action- less scares- I enjoy both movies for what they bring 👏🏻👊🏻
+King Of Arthur i can see that comparison
King Of Arthur 100% was thinking that just before I seen your comment haha
King Of Arthur lol and jeepers creepers 3 is like alien 3
That's exactly what I've been thinking
King Of Arthur. Jeepers Creepers is literally a 50-50 ripoff of Stephen Kings “IT”, and an episode of “ Unsolved Mysteries “
You didn't mention how AWESOME it is to watch Ray Wise go at him with the homemade harpoon gun. I love that part!
I love the detail they put in this movie, The fact the creeper still has the same eyes he got at the end of the first movie is crazy.
That dream sequence where Justin Long’s character tells her everything used to scare the crap out of me when I was little
The first film was still the best in my opinion
+The Grave Man By a mile!
Cody Leach very true
Agreed!
Original is always the best
The Don Yea
That intro!!! Loved it brother. I still have this one sitting on the shelf. Can't wait to finally watch it. Outstanding review as always.
+Drumdums I think you'll enjoy it overall but it definitely pales next to the original. Thanks man!
Should definitely watch it! Love these movies
Drumdums shut up
I think it's really good! It gets terrible towards the end but the build up on the bus has some really creepy moments
This guy deserves way for subs then he has now, I mean it’s not just a review he adds funny stuff into it, He’s one of those you tubers who does what their viewers wants.
Thanks man
Cody Leach no problem
Yeah I just discovered this channel a few days ago and since then I've binge watched all his horror ranking videos. The dude is a natural and he's funny.
I personally prefer JC2 over the first film, just because it feels like a more entertaining and fun flick. The first was good, the second one great, but that's just my opinion!
Agreed
Same But There Really Close
Facts
I definitely prefer the first one but I get what you mean, I respect 🙂👌🏼
I’ve watched this one more times than the first!
I actually watched this at a drive in double feature, with Freddy vs. Jason as well!
Awesome
TRZN lucky bet that was badass
Awesome 👏🏽
@@TyGuy_1995 fond childhood memory for sure!
Never was able to see either in theaters, lucky lil bastard lol
Jeepers Creepers 3 was wack AF
+Steven Slater Absolutely
Steven Slater z i agree jeepers creepers 3 was awful
Steven Slater i know man. I saw that movie it sucks badly
I mean it was straight to dvd...what you expect? Lol
They should have made the third one the second and vice versa. They messed up the timeline doing all that
This had one of the coolest scenes in it using prosthetics. When the Creeper takes that dudes head with his wing and he grows a new one..freaking awesome!
+Ryan MacDonald Very good practical effects
If u see closely from the side he still looks like the boy human head as he turn around his face slowly transforms back into the creepers
@@nlntreddy you don’t need to look closely
I lowkey enjoy this one JUST SIGHTLY more than the original. Like just a .5 difference.
Love the first one it's the best but I thought this was a worthy, creative sequel. The third movie need not be mentioned.
Personally in tired of people bring up the crimes of the director and they hate the Jeepers Creepers films just for that reason I love these films and I can look pass of everything of the Directors situation
+metalhead6442 Its not so much an issue with people bringing it up its those that use it as ammo to start shit in comment sections. I always try to clarify I'm here for the movie and the movie only.
@@CodyLeachYT lol your comment wasnt wrong.
Joe Beese your here supporting a reviewer reviewing the director sooo what are you doing here
Joe Beese you came here so why you worried.
@@empoweredcrb23 shut up troll
The scene where the dad harpoons the Creeper reminded me of Jaws
Jeepers 3 sucked and didn't have the same vibe the first two had at all.
Loved the 1st one, edge-of-your-seater. Liked the 2nd one, popcorn pleaser. Haven't seen it in years, but one thing that made 2 even more enjoyable was watching it with the actors commentary on, most of the kids were drunk or hungover while filming haha loved their honesty.
I seen this movie in theater on my 7th birthday, I was supposed to see Freddy vs Jason that night but it wasnt playing until later
Not gon lie that's bad parenting lol. Chuckie scarred me as a kid
Jeepers Creepers 2 is an awesome movie, loved both movies the second one wasn't as good as the first but still good movie to watch. I agree the kill scenes wasn't as good as I would of like it to be but it was enjoyable enough to watch, great review on the movie
+Bruce Brown Thank you
Its a fun movie, but in comparison to the first it just doesn't live up at all.
+Craig Norrie agreed It's a shlocky monster flick
Craig Norrie it is different! JP1: two main characters, was as always the horror/slashers movies are, it takes it time to meet the monster/killer, the second one jumps directly to attack..... I personally prefer The second movie, both are really awensome!
They don't need to make a part 4 because part 3 was horrible . Part 1 is my favorite 💯
+Tavin Logan They couldn't make a part 4 if they wanted to after the disaster of 3
Seriously... the 3rd movie was just laughable at some points 😂
Because director wasn’t the same which is why it suck
Empowered CRB it suffered BECAUSE the director was the same, what are you talking about? Awareness of his controversy and the reaction of everyone around him literally handicapped the film to the point that it couldn’t be done the way Victor wanted to.
Bailey Crawly oh. Thanks for the education.
This was my first experience with JeepersCreepers and man, it was hard for me to watch because of the annoying dude bro that kept trying to start shit with his black teammate. He couldn't die fast enough @ _ @
that scene when he's at the window though!!!
The 2nd one was the best cuz of the bus scene. The kids behaviour was realistic
The biggest compliment for the series is how each movie is different for bad or worst lol
I’m a new subscriber. I usually view stuckman and jahns channel but i can definitely add this to my favorites. Love the content and your perception of the flicks. Just watched devils candies bc of one of your videos and enjoyed it. Keep it up!
Loving your reviews man! I'm currently enjoying a playlist of your content. Very well done content.
If not for Victor Salvas past, this could have been an amazing franchise that could have produced a few more very solid sequels. I feel like The Creeper is one of the greatest Horror icons off all time and doesn’t get the respect because of that situation. Sad but true, I hope someone else can take over production but still finish the story of The Creeper in a good way!
Yeah the franchise definitely had the potential to become great
Remember, bro, we asked for this.
I'm from the future lol someone else did get the franchise and they made the worst movie of all time
Do not watch reborn it isn’t worth it
The sequel I wanted is for the woman from the first one to come back and take revenge against the Creeper. I want her to kick some Creeper ass.
That sounds like a great idea for a movie.
This one was actually my favorite!! Watched it again after watching the disaster that was “Reborn” 🤦🏾♀️😩😩
Yea I seen that trash 🗑🗑 sequel on Tubi ( Jeepers creepers 4 ) I was really disappointed they done messed up the main villain mascot and the whole plot of the movie. I wish either James Wan, Guiellmore del toro, Eli Roth or maybe Sam Raimi reboot the whole franchise back over somehow wit there own vision of the character The Creeper
Honestly my favorite of the franchise but I acknowledge my nostalgia with it
I paid for that dumpster fire Reborn, so I had to watch the original two
Whenever you say "my last positive" I look at the videos run time to see if I can guess your overall feeling on a movie
Anyone miss the days of the SyFy and AMC horror movies?
I was actually pleasantly surprised by this movie, being a sequel. As we know, sequels can be awesome (Child’s Play 2) or shitty(insert any sequel you wish). This one was actually cool, n the Creeper was badass. Cheers Cody man! 🍻
@@gvidovaldmanis6377 no.
1 & 2 will always be My Fav. 3..... don't even wanna mention it
+Skiippiii The less said the better
Creeper reminds of Darth Maul
Derek Knowles lmao nothing like him
You really summed up the essence of this film well, shining a light on the subtext or "text" that I had no idea was present when I first watched it as a kid.
I agree man, that opening was fantastic. Even though it wasn't awesome like the first film, I still enjoyed it.
+Locarbmonster Same here
Jeepers creepers 4 can be like trish coming back and destroying it back for good
Hey Cody, could you review the Final Destination series?
+Michael Mccraw Eventually for sure
And Village of the Damned
Definitely still a fun horror flick, not as good as the atmosphere and tension as the first movie but still a really enjoyable film and a very solid sequel. I don’t even need to waste my time on 3, I know how badly it’s been received by fans and who needs a third movie when you have 1 and 2?
+Brandon Back They had huge potential for 3 they just pissed it away. We still need a movie that explores the Creepers origins
I honestly thought the Cgi was pretty good, I do agree that I think being able to tell the obvious difference from the creeper and the night sky were intentional, the sky seemed like a prominent part of the setting. I love the first two and highly regard them but yeah not the third one.
I really like jeepers creepers 2. I actually like all the characters. I think it's very good
Jessica....I'm with you. I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I thought I would. JC1 is better but this one had a few creepy scenes and visuals, that really impressed me.
@@taydestiny38 jeepers creepers 2 is much better than the first one.
Great review for Cody, I’ve been on a creeper marathon always watch your reviews after each movie. I agree with u on this one, the opening of this movie is bad ass, I love how the corn 🌾 field is bright gold and the creeper is pure black, can’t make out any details on his face, looks like a moving shadow. I’ve never seen pt 3, going to check it out.
The premonition doesnt bother me. The old lady in the first one had the same gift. I assumed it happens to a random person every 20+ years
Good theorie, never thought of it that way 🤔
good point. I thought that the premonition was just out of place, especially it being from a high school cheer leader. Just seemed kinda random
The first one was great as it really fleshed out the world with the song, the preview into the lair, and some bits of lore. The actors also did a fantastic job in establishing a believable scenario.
The second felt more like your typical cheesy horror movie. Fun, but not what I wanted from this series. I did think the knife carvings were cool but would have liked them to be explored further, as well as have a bit more impact on the plot.
Thanks for the vid!
The 3rd one was like we’re in 2017 not 2001
the step-up in quality ruins it for me, ironically. The movie was also just complete dog shit. All those 2000s-early 2010s movies with the same camera quality were just awesome. I think that we got some of the best horror movies ever in that time.
Yo Cody Huge Fan You Should Review Thirteen Ghost
+brian roman Might do that eventually. Always liked that one
Cody Leach Yeah Bro It's A Great Film
I used to think the 2nd one was the best but after rewatching them now that I’m older the first one is so damn good
Literally said the same thing to my girl as we watch them today. Everything in jeepers creepers 2 is fucking awesome except the acting
i never realized this movie had homoerotic subtext
+Nick Jackson It hits you like a brick in the face once you see it
I sure haven’t noticed any. I’ve seen the first 2 (haven’t seen the 3rd one yet; just found out it exists) as a kid from about 2005 thanks to my cousin’s DVD to about 2012 I think was the last time I’ve seen a Jeepers Creepers movie.
I also used to watch it on the Sci Fi channel
Victor Salva wrote the "Every 23 years for 23 days it gets to eat" rule in Jeepers Creepers (2001) so there would be no sequel unless the movie was set in the future, and he knew the studio wouldn't want that. However Francis Ford Coppola found an easy loophole: set it during the same 23 days as the first movie. So this movie is set on the 23rd day for the purpose of not making another sequel.
After the students abandon the bus and run away from the Creeper, some of the teens were to originally stumble upon an abandoned military bunker with a similar set up as the church from the first film. There, they'd stumble across the Creeper, who is in the middle of eating the dead body of an athlete. This scene was story-boarded and the set was even completely finished, but the scene was ultimately not shot.
On the set, Victor Salva referred to the school bus as the "Creeper's Lunch Box."
Originally Trish and Jezelle from the first Jeepers Creepers (2001) film would hunt down The Creeper for the sequel, while a school bus full of teens terrorized by The Creeper was just a subplot. But the more Victor Salva worked on the script, the more the bus plot became more interesting. So he decided to scrap Trish and Jezelle and concentrate the film on the bus instead.
The Basketball team is from the fictional Bannon highschool, the same school advertised on Darry's shirt in the first Jeepers Creepers (2001).
Like A Bat Out Of Hell" was an alternate title for the film at one point.
Kasan Butcher, who plays Kimball "Big K" Ward, plays a 17-year-old high schooler in the film, despite the fact that he was 30 at the time of filming.
Lena Cardwell and Nicki Aycox were allowed to keep their female bannon high jackets.
Shaun Fleming had problems with Disney during the filming of the film because they did not agree with his participation in a horror movie while he worked for them lending his voice in some of his series.
Lynda Boyd was considered for the role of Betty Borman, however she became very busy in the filming of Final Destination 2 (2003).
Jack Taggart's character name is inspired by Jack Teagarden, a jazz singer who released a popular version of the song "Jeepers Creepers", which is important to the franchise.
Nicki Aycox (Minxie) guest starred in a Supernatural (2005) episode entitled Scarecrow (2006). The episode featured a creature very similar to The Creeper who also pretended to be a scarecrow to attack victims.
The names of the 3 cheerleaders (Minxie, Chelsea and Rhonda) were the names of some cheerleaders of the secondary school Victor Salva attended.
The basketball team is called "Bannon Bantams" this in reference to Dan O'Bannon who was the writer of Alien (1979).
Last entry in the Jeepers Creepers franchise to be released by MGM and United Artists.
Some of the scenes including Chelsea Farmer could not be filmed because during some days of shooting Lena Cardwell was absent filming an episode of Power Rangers Wild Force (2002).
The cheerleader played by Lena Cardwell is named Chelsea Farmer, however, her name is not mentioned during the movie. Originally the bus driver was to be played by a man, however it was changed at the last minute to have a female bus driver.
at around 1h 22 mins) In the scene where Izzy, Double D, and Rhonda try to escape The Creeper in the wrecked exterminator truck - Izzy accidentally puts the truck into drive instead of reverse when taking off. According to Travis Schiffner (Izzy) it was completely unintentional, but the take worked well enough that it was left in the film.
at around 11 mins) The bus radio states a report of a church fire four days ago. This would reference the first movie where the church was placed on fire in an attempt to burn evidence.
(at around 20 mins) When Ray Wise was banging the hammer on an anvil, one of the sparks landed in his pocket and it caught fire. He performed the scene regardless.
at around 37 mins) According to the director's commentary Victor Salva says he nearly cut the scene were The Creeper 'flirts' with the teens on the bus, feeling that it might be too comical for the film. However he was later glad that he didn't as it was a favorite scene with screening audiences.
The Shuriken, or ninja star weapon, made out of bone that the Creeper used were made from cattle bones that were carved, varnished and welded. After the success of the film, they were donated to a museum where they have been exhibited since 2005.
(at around 26 mins) The second shuriken, or ninja star-like weapon, that punctures the tire is made with the navel skin with the rose tattoo of Darry Jenner, a main character of the first film.
You can see the Creeper now has brown eyes due to taking them from Darry Jenner in Jeepers Creepers (2001).
The song 'Jeepers Creepers' which played into the original Jeepers Creepers (2001) film a lot is only referenced once in this film. Its tune can be subtly heard in Bennett Salvay's music score during the final image of the film.
at around 46 mins) The station wagon that Taggart Sr. finds with the roof peeled back has a bumper sticker that reads "I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing." A reference to the fact that the Creeper eats parts of people to replace parts on his own body.
body count (11)
(at around 1h 30 mins) Taggart Sr. stabbed the Creeper's chest 34 times for the loss of his son before the Creeper wailed and yielded into submission. He ended his 35th strike using his handmade harpoon that was lodged in the Creeper's head.
at around 6 mins) For the scene in which the Creeper drags Billy Taggart through the cornfield, two shots were used: one in which Breck dragged a doll and another in which he dragged a double.
According to Director Victor Salva the inspiration for the character of Jack Taggart Sr. was Captain Ahab in Herman Melville's Moby Dick. At one point Taggart was even supposed to quote Ahab ("from hell's heart I stab thee") in his showdown with The Creeper, but this was not included in the film.
at around 3 mins) In the first scene, before the Creeper appears, Jack Taggart Jr. is working underneath a truck. The device he uses to slide underneath it is commonly referred to as a "creeper".
at around 16 mins) Lena Cardwell initially refused to smoke with the other cheerleaders; she was eventually convinced to do so by the producers, but in the final footage you can see her look of disgust after smoking.
One of the reasons why The Creeper did not want to murder the cheerleaders is that Victor Salva did not want to overuse the monster cliché of capturing women. But he still wanted The Creeper to capture the host Betty because the absence of all adults would make teen survival more interesting.
Marieh Delfino dyed her hair a reddish hue to play Rhonda while Nicki Aycox dyed her hair blonde to play Minxie.
After eating parts of its victims, the Creeper sews them with thick thread and exhibits the cadavers as "art" in its lair. After it is defeated, Taggart sews the dismembered parts of the Creeper in the same way, displaying its body.
at around 1h 35 mins) The soundtrack of "The House of Pain" that is heard when Darry and Trish arrive at the church in the first film, can be heard when Tourists talk with Jack Taggart Elder about "The Bat Out of Hell".
Victor Salva portrayed his teenage characters as representations of various stereotypes: Racist (Scotty), Homosexual (Izzy), Latina (Rhonda), Homophobic (Jake), African-American (Double D and Chelsea) and bullied (Bucky).
Victor Salva decided to portray topics such as racism and discrimination against homosexuals in the script.
at around 33 mins) When Taggart listens to the radio in search of some report of kidnappings, he listens to the radio "I repeat ... Related to Poho and everyone knows what I mean" This is a song to refer to the events of the first Jeepers Creepers (2001).
Originally it was planned that the song "Jeepers Creepers" would be heard in the movie, but in a rock version. This was scrapped however this rock version can be heard in the trailer for the film.
The opening of the final scenes of this movie, a vehicle traveling on a road, making a bend to the left, mimic the opening scene of the first movie.
I don't know about anyone else here but that truck from the first one the creeper drives, gave me nightmare's as a kid many nights.
Only complaint i have with this movie, is that the adults get picked off very quickly right after each other
What made the the first one so good is in the first 2/3 of the movie you don’t know exactly what they’re up against. You think it’s just a man.
When i first saw the creeper up on the scarecrow post all i could think of was that goosebumps story "the scarecrow walks at midnight." XD
Glad you're back, Cody. I saw this at the movies back in '03. Entertaining, but inferior to the first one.
+TheUnderdog1026 Agreed!
Surprisingly, i like JP2 much mpre that 1! Or equally love both!
I'm so glad you made the Freddy's Revenge comment in the beginning, I kind of got the same gay vibe about Darry in the first one too and this one just screamed gay subtext. No homophobia here, it's just like, either make some character's gay or don't! I don't need little hints and comments about it throughout a HORROR film, it's unnecesary. There was also a too much racially charged dialouge that we don't need in a horror movie.
The first time I saw JC2 was also at a drive in with the double feature Freddy v Jason. While I did not enjoy JC2 anywhere near as much as the first film, I will admit it was very creepy watching this monster on screen while sitting outside in a lawn chair under the dark sky. I felt like I was going to be snatched up from any direction. I was 11 but honestly I’d probably still feel that way as an adult.
I firmly stand by what I said to my friend, if it has been the bus driver, the coach and the assistant coach who were facing the creeper with Ray Wise’s character, I think that would have been so much fun.
MY DAY HAS BEEN MADE THANK YOU CODY!!!!!👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
+J.Ebbing715 Awesome!
Honestly this ones the best one in the series lol
I like the idea, it’s stupid but hilarious, that the creeper at this point was satisfied with all he had eaten and gained and with the school bus he was just window shopping 😅 seeing if he couldn’t get a few cheeky midnight snacks on the side and play with his food 😂
0:29 theme is amazing
I understand what you're saying and it all makes sense. I just didn't see a lot of that stuff when I was younger. I was a teenager when I saw it. So I wasn't in critic mode trying to dissect it. I thought it was pretty cool. It wasn't nearly as good as the first, but it still had a lot of cool stuff. The first was able to build up the fear and anticipation of just what the creeper was and what he was doing, but this one wasn't able to do that. They still managed to keep the creature scary though and he was definitely the highlight of the film. I actually liked the idea of the stranded bus. It makes sense to me from the standpoint of it being the creepers last day. He had to plan out and execute an attack. He spotted the bus and launched his assault. Knowing that he would have a smorgasbord of bodies to feast on. That's why I think he took his time. He wasn't desperate to feed when he just won the lottery with all those kids and even a few adults. So he spent his last hours having fun and getting the most out of his meal. I missed the homoerotic stuff back then. It's been years since I've seen it. Probably around 7-8 years the last time. Overall I thought it was pretty decent. Just not as scary since the mystery and buildup were gone. Still had some great scenes that helped add to the fear factor though. Like the scarecrow scene you mentioned. One of my favorite scenes was when the creeper had to hop through the corn field or whatever since I think his legs were missing. That was very disturbing and had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Anyway - cool movie overall in my opinion.
Jeepers creepers were you get those peepers I love that song
It only worked for part one cause he wanted them eyes 🤣
That intro will turn some people on in a weird way. 😆
I completely understand what you meant when you said it had a really good throwback drive in monster tone. I agree 100% I really enjoy this movie. I think that tone is probably the reason for that. I just now realized how similar this is to NOES2 with the undertones after seeing that hilarious intro. I'm not sure how I missed that lol. Great review.
+MagicMatson69 Glad I could open your eyes to the similarities. Lol Thanks for watching
I like that you address them fools that’s ready to bash because of something that happened before they was born
Appreciate you for your comments on De Silva. Lets just focus on the movie. Thanks. I love JC 2
I dont think i agree with you cody on this one. This movie was a genuine masterpiece and the practical effects are top notch. Not as good as jeepers creepers 1 but their 2 different styles I'm glad they went more action with this one. Great movie
Masterpiece is a giant stretch even for fans of the movie. Masterpiece entails that the movie is flawless and despite being a fun entertaining romp there is flaws galore. Glad you like it though alot of people dont seem to.
@@CodyLeachYT what makes it a masterpiece in my eyes is the surreal dream state feeling these movies give which adds a certain eerieness salva is great at. Theres not alot of movies I can watch over and over and still be riveted by and these are the very few that do. So that makes it a masterpeice to me. But an opinion is just that, an opinion. Just like how you think derek mears is the best jason 😂😂😂
For the longest time, I didn't know the first one existed. I always thought this was the first one because this was the first one I heard about.
Jeepers creepers 3 is a piece of shuit and I don't like it.
+Angel Cruz Same here
Good Review 👍🏻. I'm one of those people who thinks that Jeepers Creepers 2 is actually better than the first one. But I can totally understand when you find Jeepers Creepers 2 a step down from Jeepers Creepers 1. I'm just find this one more fun and entertaining than the first Jeepers Creepers.
+Horrormaster13 I hear ya. It's more zany and action filled for sure I just prefer the suspense and mystery of the first
I’ve seen this review video about 10 times and never realized you were wearing an Aaron Lewis t shirt. Probably because I click on your playlists and then listen though headphones on my forklift. But Ive seen him live 6 times as a solo artist and seen staind live 5 times. Being from Boston Massachusetts myself, he’s one of the main reasons I got into country music. He opened for Brantley Gilbert in Mass back in 2015. Have you seen him live
In all honesty, I would've preferred everyone on the bus not knowing anything about the Creeper, and completely cutting out the whole premonition thing. Also cut out the scene where the Creeper chooses who he wants, I think it would've been more interesting. Take all the time focused on all of that, and give it to the Father and through him we can get the same information without having a physic involved. Just have Trish show up, letting us know she's been on a war path and tracking the Creeper since it took her brother. That's what I would've done, but that's just me.
I personally felt like Rhonda (Rho) was the lead throughout the film. And I honestly think she did a good job, but what bothered me is as a child I always thought that she died, and Izzy too (more so Izzy) but their deaths arent included in kill counts while also they are never shown alive again during the rest of the film....annoyed me bc those were kinda the other characters I liked besides D.
Meh. Less intriguing and I didn’t care as much about the characters but the creeper didn’t disappoint. Special effects on him are A+. Only thing I can think of that made him draw out the movie is needing their fear? The longer he took the more frightened they are? Not the worst sequel but agree with you on the downgrade. 🤷🏼♀️
Awesome channel man. Love your take on movies and the way you talk about them.
+J-Stilt 9 Thank you
I think this sequel is better than the original
You would be wrong!
@@SquidGunmanno. The first one is almost to boring to sit through now. It does some things better but this one is alot more entertaining and also scarier and you get more of the creeper, more kills, more action, more tension, a better setting with the corn fields, honestly better characters too.
@@BookieBrewster I suppose we’ll have to agree to disagree. Have a wonderful day! Also, you’re absolutely wrong.
@@SquidGunman No I know I'm right because I've watched both tons of times and the 2nd one is always best
@@BookieBrewster Well, you have poor taste then.
I wish jeepers Creepers was in the 80s and 90s 2000s like all Slashers Movies
First one is great, havent seen the other ones yet. Saw your review for brawl in cell block 99 and i do agree i hope vince Vaughn stays in that roll because he was great. The fight scenes were ok at best but his acting was stellar
+Mr Freakazoid The first is definitely the best
The dvd of jeepers creepers 2 has over 20 minutes of deleted scenes…
Good review! I honestly like it as much as the original, i like much more this unleashed Creeper, and has an interesting idea, last night for a meal....when i want the road idea with just some good focused characters i watch this one, when i want some teens in the middle of the road, i watch this one! Saw very little of JP3 but i think i'll pass that!
I liked both movies. But you're right. The first one was the best!
+Darren Green Absolutely
4:33 didn’t have my earbuds
I remember being so pumped for this coming out after seeing the first one. But this movie just falls flat and the creeper has a bus of kids for a bodycount and fails to kill the majority of them making the creeper seem weak. Plus waaaay to much shirtless male scenes for any movie. Great review though brother
+Kyle Joseph Thanks man
Some kids I also liked were deaungre, jake, kimball, dante, izzy, Rhonda and the dad and son also the creeper
A bunch of kids trapped on a bus with a monster attacking them. Wasn't this an episode of South Park?
+Kevin Riley I've heard they parodied this movie
I love Jeepers Creepers 1,2 and also 3(less than 1,2)
Cannot wait to hear your thoughts on JC 3 !
+JJXDivision oh its gonna be fun
Is he human or is he dancer.....
All joking aside, great review.
When I first found out about the controversy I felt so guilty for loving these movies... But whatever they are good movies even if he's a horrible person.
Being honest I'm happy u talk about these movies because I like the movies but no one will talk about them
one of the best horror sequels of all time
Sequels are usually better than originals.
First one amazing second one okay/good 3rd one absolutely shit.
I get what you are saying. But a roof of a car is much different than a roof of a bus.The Creeper took his time because he is trying to get their fear.
Jeepeers Creepers 2 i really like despite a few issues especially with the characters but I have a lot of fun
So, this might be a hot take... but I actually prefer "Jeepers Creepers 2" over the first film.
Don't get me wrong, it still has its problems. Cody has a point, everyone in that bus is pretty one note and forgettable but I like seeing the different effects the Creeper has on his victims. Becoming either depressed and guilt ridden until they decide to seek vengeance, like the farmer and his son or become frightened and/or paranoid to a point of turning against one another like the jocks on the bus. Good film, it's just a pity who directed it.
That opening line was AWESOME!
+Mike Bunting Thanks!
I agree I am mixed with this one also
first jeepers creepers is better
