She's taking part in a new TV show: The ShowMaskGoOn. She performs one song each week for 9 weeks. She is now in week 4. Can't Help Falling in Love (week1), Mama, I'm Dancing (week 2), Oh, It's Not Yet Evening (week 3), Twist in My Sobriety (week 4). I've never heard her sing better than she has on this show. It's like a sword that pierces straight into my soul. My whole body tingles. Evidently, lots of other people experience it, too. Another reactor has labelled it "The Diana Effect". It has to do with polyphonic overtones and the way her voice resonates. Anyway, I agree with Yusif Eiwazov (who is arguably married to a Gift of God himself) when he told Diana that she possesses an incredible God-given talent. Diana is on Russian TV every Saturday for two months straight. She is uploading her performances to her official UA-cam channel. You should check her voice out now. So far she has uploaded all 3 of her performances and there are six more to follow. Her Elvis cover of Can't Help Falling In Love is in minor and haunting, explosive, creepy and fantastic all at the same time. She provides English subtitles on all her music on her official channel, but you must turn them on. :)

I love,how many female reactors can't help themselves, but adress Dianas clothes. When we men say, she looks beautiful, women go: 'Look at that gorgeous dress, and that hair-do, and,and,and...' In earnest, she never dresses with exaggerated glitter or half-naked. I like seeing her in this simple classical style,no fancy stuff, sincere and moderate like her personality and yet, beautiful in every facet. In this song, Diana’s voice reminds me of English ballads - also beautiful in the Russian language, but gives me a bit of the feeling also of the late singer from The Cranberries. However, Diana is her own person and becoming even lovelier as she matures. Definitely a beautiful dress…. Shakira is also brought to mind - perhaps closer in range to Diana than The Cranberries’ singer. Lovely reaction and thanks for the recommendation.

I said this before and I'll say it again her voice is like a massage to the ears and soul. However, it's a little impressive that she's using her upper register because she usually uses her unbelievably lower register.
Over the past year or so Diana has been working on her upper register. Take a look at her cover of Ah-Ha 's take on me, you will see how far she has come.
Another example of her higher register is her cover of Elvis's I can't help falling I love . Also some awsome low notes she ran the gambit on that one mind blowing.🤯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hi Maggie. This is about as close to Social Media as I get but assumed you, being the pro you are, would give me your thoughts on Diana. There are Pop Singers, Jazz Singers, Choir Singers, and, of course Opera Singers. Of course we Americans always have to label everything. Soooo where do we put the incredible contralto Diana Ankudinova in the mix? I have to tell you that the pandemic has forced me to discover some unbelievable talent via "The" Tube. At 72 I did not sit in front on my computer for hours until the lockdown. Then I found UA-cam. We tend to listen to music that is accessible...Radio primarily until the internet. Good Lord there ARE other singers in the world!!! What a shocker. Checkout another Russian Polena Gagarina. Pop Queen but a range that is amazing. Try "Hurt" and/or "A Million Voices" the Eurovision version and "Kukushka". Sorry, I'm a windy old fart. Best to you. (lived on 40th b-tween 2nd and 3rd, 89th & York, Jackson Hts,Long Beach just as the Towers were opening)

I'm so glad I heard Diana sing here. I know nothing about vocal technique. I just go with how the musician makes me feeI. I just heard, for the first time ,her singing Can't help Falling in Love a second ago and thought it was so scary spooky. Couldn't hardly relate to it, but this was beautiful and I definitely want to hear more from her. This reminds me of a movie sound tract to some medieval love story or like Simon and Garfunkel song, Scarborough Fair . So pretty.

Diana Ankudinova is currently performing on a Russian singing show for 9 consecutive Saturdays. She has already completed the first 3 shows. The first week she sang an old Elvis Presley song "Can't help falling in love with you". It was a spectacular performance for an 18 yr old young women. Like your review of "Into the skies" she has this God given talent as her voice is utterly magical & ethereal. I can feel her singing right down to my bone marrow.

In this song, Diana’s voice reminds me of English ballads - also beautiful in the Russian language, but gives me a bit of the feeling also of the late singer from The Cranberries. However, Diana is her own person and becoming even lovelier as she matures. Definitely a beautiful dress…. Shakira is also brought to mind - perhaps closer in range to Diana than The Cranberries’ singer. Lovely reaction and thanks for the recommendation.

Have you heard her song that she sings in a lower voice on the competition?
I said this before and I'll say it again her voice is like a massage to the ears and soul. However, it's a little impressive that she's using her upper register because she usually uses her unbelievably lower register.
Over the past year or so Diana has been working on her upper register. Take a look at her cover of Ah-Ha 's take on me, you will see how far she has come.
Another example of her higher register is her cover of Elvis's I can't help falling I love . Also some awsome low notes she ran the gambit on that one mind blowing.🤯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hi Maggie. This is about as close to Social Media as I get but assumed you, being the pro you are, would give me your thoughts on Diana. There are Pop Singers, Jazz Singers, Choir Singers, and, of course Opera Singers. Of course we Americans always have to label everything. Soooo where do we put the incredible contralto Diana Ankudinova in the mix? I have to tell you that the pandemic has forced me to discover some unbelievable talent via "The" Tube. At 72 I did not sit in front on my computer for hours until the lockdown. Then I found UA-cam. We tend to listen to music that is accessible...Radio primarily until the internet. Good Lord there ARE other singers in the world!!! What a shocker. Checkout another Russian Polena Gagarina. Pop Queen but a range that is amazing. Try "Hurt" and/or "A Million Voices" the Eurovision version and "Kukushka". Sorry, I'm a windy old fart. Best to you. (lived on 40th b-tween 2nd and 3rd, 89th & York, Jackson Hts,Long Beach just as the Towers were opening)

I'm so glad I heard Diana sing here. I know nothing about vocal technique. I just go with how the musician makes me feeI. I just heard, for the first time ,her singing Can't help Falling in Love a second ago and thought it was so scary spooky. Couldn't hardly relate to it, but this was beautiful and I definitely want to hear more from her. This reminds me of a movie sound tract to some medieval love story or like Simon and Garfunkel song, Scarborough Fair . So pretty.

Diana Ankudinova is currently performing on a Russian singing show for 9 consecutive Saturdays. She has already completed the first 3 shows. The first week she sang an old Elvis Presley song "Can't help falling in love with you". It was a spectacular performance for an 18 yr old young women. Like your review of "Into the skies" she has this God given talent as her voice is utterly magical & ethereal. I can feel her singing right down to my bone marrow.
