Gonna be honest, the first time I ever heard this song was GTA IV on Electro Chok when I turned on the radio on my third mission and I knew I wanted to know the real song's name but always forgot to look it up.. So.. Here I am now. Finally hearing the song again. And when I used to play GTA IV a lot, it was back in... I think 2012. Now its 2017, and I'm recalling so many good times :3
It took me a few listens over a few years to really understand how amazing this song is. This has probably become my favourite Justice track, and in my opinion is an utter masterpiece. The song opens with harsh noises, clashing together, fighting for supremacy. The drums roll in, but very distorted, mechanical, cold. The opening noises still operating very much separately from each other, each trying to draw your attention away from the other. Suddenly the drop hits, and the opening noises begin to work together, playing off one another. The drums become more complex, like they're trying to show off to the combination playing beside them. And then, the synth beings to pour in, softly at first, then slowly gaining more and more volume until it overpowers the song completely. And then it's there on its own, and you realise something; you've been listening to just white noise. There's no instruments, there's just this noise which, on its own, was harsh and unpleasant. But when the harsh noises flow and work together, you can make beautiful music. And then it drops again, and every distorted sample is working together at last, fusing into luscious harmonies and awesome beats. But the time is short lived, and with the synth gone the song decays again into the white static just like before. Maybe there's a message there. But I honestly don't care. I just love this track.
Eh, it's just what I think. I was just trying to express my opinion in the clearest possible way, but obviously music is entirely up to interpretation. This is just one view, take it or leave it.

The song opens with harsh noises, clashing together, fighting for supremacy. The drums roll in, but very distorted, mechanical, cold. The opening noises still operating very much separately from each other, each trying to draw your attention away from the other. Suddenly the drop hits, and the opening noises begin to work together, playing off one another. The drums become more complex, like they're trying to show off to the combination playing beside them. And then, the synth beings to pour in, softly at first, then slowly gaining more and more volume until it overpowers the song completely. And then it's there on its own, and you realise something; you've been listening to just white noise. There's no instruments, there's just this noise which, on its own, was harsh and unpleasant. But when the harsh noises flow and work together, you can make beautiful music. And then it drops again, and every distorted sample is working together at last, fusing into luscious harmonies and awesome beats. But the time is short lived, and with the synth gone the song decays again into the white static just like before.
Maybe there's a message there. But I honestly don't care. I just love this track.
