Whenever I watch your videos I feel like: "Now here is someone living life right!" You're surrounded by friends and family that love you and appreciate you. You can see the support. He grew a 32lb melon... bragging on your friends! You're this example to the world that if you run around lifting up everyone you meet.. You're going to have a very blessed and fulfilled life. I love watching that. ❤
Well said!
When my husband and I were dating, I asked him what his favorite fruit was. He instantly and excitedly responded, "peaches", and I was perplexed. From my experience, peaches were nothing special. Then, we visited his parents during peach season, and he made me eat one from their trees. Fresh peaches are the absolute best.
When you say “dudes! I have a joy to share with you!” My heart melted! What a life, indeed. 💚
The pure joy in Daniel’s face that all he could do was laugh! THATS a good peach!
Your enormous joy over your peaches has given me a great deal of joy. I love when someone elses joy gives me joy.😊
Last year I was mowing and all of a sudden saw a tree with big ripe peaches growing in our thicket. It must have come from my kids chucking peach pits up into the weeds while sitting on the electric box. The peaches were amazing and the best I’ve ever had. That’s a pretty special surprise here in Nebraska.
You are such a bright spot in my day. I absolutely love your laugh and watching you and Miah! Thank you for being you.❤
"Make gardeners out of your friends" BEST ADVICE EVER!!!
❤ I got questioned yesterday by coworkers as to when I was bringing in my leftovers from the garden. 😂 I’m tomato rich this week! So proud and smiling at all those that said I was growing “too many” plants. 😊
Congrats, such a great feeling being in tomato rich season 😊
I go around the yard every morning and pluck all the ripe cherry tomatoes and take them into work. Two of my coworkers are madly in love with the sun golds.
Haha same I always got made fun of for eating a cucumber and pepper every day with my lunch lol
I just LOVE starting 'too many' seeds!! I LOVE 'too many' plants!!! I especially LOVE TOO MUCH PRODUCTION!!! I share, share, share!!! I give eggs away, as well!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
“Woefully inadequate!” The exact sentiment that I experience standing in our orchard eating first fruits off the tree. This God…..❤
We saved the seed in hopes to get this thing germinated. The idea of a genuine Roots and Refuge peach tree at our home makes perfect sense to the Ball family!!
What a sweetie Ben is. One bite and he immediately wants to share the joy with his Dad.
Oh Jessica... You were so smart to plant fruit trees, as soon as you moved to your new land ! { 🌱 🌳 🍑}
Now, you and your family....have so many yummy peaches to eat. (in only abt. 2.5 years )
( Organic too - and graciously sharing with your friends ) 🤗
❤ Oh! I had so much fun watching everyone's reaction to the peaches! So much fun!
I must know the variety! For a fruit to bring so much joy! You are such a blessing to life! 🥹❤️
Jess, your smile, laugh and enthusiasm for even the smallest things brings me so much joy. Thank you. ❤🥰
DANIEL!!! In his element. He looks so happy! And working at that 🤣 You helped make that happen Jess! You help turn people’s lives from a normal peach to THE BEST PEACH! Life deserves to be juicy 💕

My husband calls Jess giggle girl. ❤️🙏
Love the very beginning of this video when you say "to the orchard please" and he says "Yes ma'lady" 🤗
I just LOVE how much joy they have for fresh food. A good peach is my crack 🥰
There is nothing better than a sweet ripe peach off the tree! Made my mouth water!
Lol lol who knew that ducks and geese could grow such good peaches 🎉❤
A feast of peaches for breakfast sounds absolutely amazing. We planted peach trees last year, so in a few years I may get to experience this.
You and your videos are pure delight!!! Sharing your peaches is so you. Like Daniel said. ❤
"Zoe, how come you always cut your apples?" --Firefly
Oh, sweet Miah, those peaches are the genuine article.

I have missed Daniel! It’s good to see he is doing well!
I planted plum trees this summer! I'm so excited! I can't wait to start getting fruits from them!
I so badly want to be your neighbor, go to the Market, sip coffee at Beulah and share garden treats!! What a joy that would be!
And they bring your beautiful family joy!!!!
Oh the memories this video brought back!!! Thank you so very much miss Jessica! Blessings Kiddo! 🌻😬🌿💚🙏💕
Your boys are just so sweet! I love to see them enjoying real life, they are going to miss this farm when they grow older
I love how Michael was all, "yeah, it's good." Until he found out you grew it then he's like, "😲🎉😃 YEAH!"
The white peaches are not supposed to be canned - they're not acidic enough - but they are delicious frozen.
I feel this way about all my fruit trees! I’ve been waiting to see this video since you planted them!! ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing the experience. Priceless!❤
I loved seeing the reactions to eating peaches from your farm. So delightful.
I loved that you shared the joy of those peaches.
Awww...hate I missed the boys, the market and now those peaches!!!!😂Watching everyone's faces was just so satisfying ❤! Nothing like an amazing peach!
Daniel's looking good 👍
He looks so happy!
We need to get back out there again! So happy for you !
What a wonderful video, love all the laughter.
😂 Miah’s face when you bit into that peach, like he thought bad things might truly happen . So happy for you that you have wonderful peaches, they don’t grow where I live and I miss a fresh peach
Epic peach bite from Daniel! That was great!
You are so sweet sharing your peaches your gardens are amazing ❤❤❤❤hope your stings were not too painful
Oh Daniel, you make my heart so happy! The look you had on your face about a peach from Jess, just so perfect! :)
I’m going to see this as a sign! I have looked at this dwarf peach tree at my local garden shop twice now, because I couldn’t decide if I should get it or not. And now here’s a Roots and Refuge video on peaches!!! I guess that means I should do it! Can’t wait!!!!!
What a joyous video. Thank you Jess🙏🏻💚
You're killing me! I just planted peach trees this year and I can't wait for the best peach ever!!!!
I hope mine grow as fast as yours- great job!!!❤❤❤
Thank you ❤❤❤ sister Jess😊
Sweet Miah reminded me of Ben in this video 😊 I love watching Ben reaction when he tastes things from the garden ❤️
Always a pleasure to catch up with the roots and refuge peeps!! Jess, can I also just say I love your hair and think you should grow the grey out 😍
Plantain leaves on your wasp bites, right away. Chew up some fresh leaves and put the juice on your bites. Takes away the pain immediately and reduces swelling.
No joke on growing your own stone fruit! The best nectarine I've ever had is the one I allowed to grow on my less than a year-old Snow Queen this spring.
Hey Jess and Miah,
Whoo Hoo 🎉
Peaches galore!
JO JO IN VT 💞
I love this on so many levels, but most of all, the joy you had in sharing the peaches with your friends. I create canned food from recipies that go beyond simple food preservation with harvests from my garden or locally growers and also bake from scratch- all of which I give away to friends and acquaintances. There is no greater joy than hearing people tell me how much they enjoyed and appreciate that I share with them.
Nice one💛💛💛💛Thank you for sharing
I just learned a few weeks ago at 58 that if you get stung by a wasp, you can put some bleach on a paper towel or rag and put on it within the first few minutes, it takes all the pain and swelling away. It has to be within the first 5-10 minutes of the sting. Learned this from a friend whose brother lays phone lines. They keep bleach in a bottle on their trucks when they get on yellow jackets and wasp nest. I was skeptical but it truly works.
That's great! You're getting an orchard going!
Takes me back to being 8 and picking peaches off our tree in Hickory Hills, Illinois. I just turned 68 and I have never had peaches as juicy and delicious, warm off the tree. Thanks Jess and Miah. ❤
Your trees are doing amazing!
Awesome!!!
What a happy and fun video. I laughed so many times with you! Enjoy the yummy fruits of your labor!
That was fun thank you Jess for sharing !!!
So cute with the kids eating peaches!
We called the peaches that grew at my grandparent's house "life changing peaches"!
Jess, when you said "I ate one the other day and almost cried" I felt that. I love that you have such strong emotions over things. I can relate so much.
I would love to have that experience again. Grew up with peach tree at my parent's home....Miss those home grown so much.
You make me so happy! Thanks for sharing your joy ❤
Thank you Jess!! I love your joy about your delicious peaches! Thank you for sharing your joy with us!!❤❤
This video had me smiling ear to ear cause of all the reactions from your friends. Such a treat!! Peaches are the best!!
This video made my day! Those smiles on all those beautiful faces when they bit into the peach. LOVE! When we came to visit, we saw all kinds of tractors coming out of peach fields so we followed them. I was surprised that I was disappointed in them being that they were so fresh. I can't wait to find a fresh white peach!
Chauffeur Miah! Loving this summer in Houston. Rain and below 100s, big change from last year!
Yes, it feels so much better. I’m north of you near Conroe.😊
Lovely video of a lovely family! Now I want a peach.
Jessica's joy is absolutely infectious! 😊 Watching people's eyes light up tasting her home grown pride and joy peaches (they should be renamed this, without a doubt) makes the heart so full. When gardeners spend so much time and effort growing food and in turn they can share it with others who truly appreciate it--- best feeling ever. 🥰
I live in Charlotte, NC and watch your channel. I can say that SC peaches are the best in the world. Enjoy your lovely peach tree ❤
We planted 8 fruit trees this spring, and 2 were peaches. They've grown so much already, and you've got me more excited.
It's like Christmas in July!
Going for the low chill cherries and Asian pears next spring.
This video brought me SO much joy!! Peaches are my FAVORITE fruit ❤
Farms looking fantastic 😊😊😊
I ❤ the videos of y'all walking and eating garden treasures. 😊
I commented to soon, THANKS for showing the boys 💙💙💙💙💙 they are beautiful
I love your excitement!!❤️
Bless you Jess😊
So fun! I can't grow peaches here, but I planted two apricots and have plums so hoping to have a similar experience in the years to come. But in the meantime, I stand at my Saskatoon Berry bushes every morning and me and the birds enjoy our fill (yes, a constant battle..lol..but they gotta eat too).
You are such a sweetheart, love seeing your family and loved seeing the farmers market, please do a full video when market is going on.
This is such a Jess video! SO glad I've been watching you long enough to know this! Your excitement is SO contagious!
Peach trees, how cool!
