That was such a lovely vlog Rachael. Thank you. Think I’ll give the granola a go. The flowers and butterflies were beautiful. Tilly loved the butterflies too I think 😂. Looking good with your hair up and denim dress. I’ve got the shawl pattern now too as have a lot of yarn to use up. I was doing exactly the same thing this morning - ironing scrap fabric! I find it strangely addictive. The blue in your bedroom is going to be beautiful and will really make the Cath Kidston colours pop. I want to make more CK accessories for the bedroom. Love your hallway too. You’ve really made your house look lovely. Well done. Lesley x

Such a gorgeous episode, always so many pretty things to see. Your shawl is looking beautiful, granny stripes are a real comfort project aren’t they? I’m thoroughly enjoying working on my sock yarn scrappy granny stripe blanket - stitches for the soul. I’m spending a few days in Northumberland next week, at the National Park and on the coast, then taking the train from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh one day, which I’m very excited about, as I haven’t been there since before I had children! Those were the days, I had a VW camper van then and I travelled around the whole coast of Scotland and visited a few islands too. I hope your lovely garden manages to bask in some summer sunshine soon. Take care 🧶🧵🌻💕

That’s summed it up perfectly - granny stripes are so comforting! Hope you had fun in Edinburgh. I’d love to see Northumberland, I hear the beaches are amazing.

Hi Rachael - I really enjoyed this ….as usual😊 the flowers in your garden are beautiful and you inspired me to make some granola which is very yummy 😋 I love your shawl and at one stage you were saying how you’d love a Granny Square cardigan - I saw Crafty Clegg making one on a recent podcast and I just checked Ravelry out and there’s some patterns there 😊

You do need to go over it a few times with a wet cloth as it has a powdery residue. But it’s worth it, it’s so good. Cleans oven dishes etc really well too.

I went to Edinburgh too this week, Rachael! Just for a few hours, and my friend and I walked on part of the Water of Leith walkway - which I'm sure you'd love if you haven't already walked on it. Loved the vlog, as always.

@@SewraymeUk I hope I didn't make it sound like I was local - I'm from Darlington, which is on the East Coast main railway line and makes Edinburgh just a pleasant 2-hour train ride away. I'll have to go back and look at your earlier vlog! We walked from Roseburn to Cannons Mill, so took in Dean Village and Stockbridge as well. 😊

Just had a thought - you do know the pattern is written in US terms so you have to convert the stitches to Uk? So a double crochet in the pattern is actually what we call a treble.
