I've enjoyed John Hawken's music and contributions most of my life, early on and throughout, via vinyl, and later on, John live as a member of the Strawbs on multiple occasions. He was a fabulous musician that has contributed so much to western music, even early on with The Nashville Teens, and his fabulous work with the other bands who have draped his career and have been so important and influential in how I enjoy life. In my occasions of meeting him, he was so amiable. He was a beautiful person and will be missed with his passing but enjoyed forever in his music. Rest in peace John Hawken.
Bought this when it first came out, Jane Relf's voice is truly amazing. Hawken and Cennamo were also great musicians.

Credo che l' artworker della copertina.
.sia lo stesso dell' album di esordio dei RENAISSANCE del 1969 l'omonimo Renaissance!!!!!!!! Secondo album degli ILLUSION credo sia del 1978 l'omonimo mentre il primo OUT OF THE MIST è dell' anno prima il 1977 . La formazione è praticamente la stessa dei primissimi Renaissance meno...il povero KEITH RELF, deceduto l' anno prima nel 1976 a causa di un terribile incidente casalingo, una scarica violenta elettrica che lo ha folgorato mentre provava la chitarra elettrica, credo che l' amplificatore è andato in cortocircuito ed è esploso uccidendolo!!!!!!!!! Per quanto riguarda i due albums sono molto piacevoli proponendo un Progressive Rock a tinte anche un po' POP ma OK!!!!!!!!!! Bella la voce della cantante,la sorella di KEITH RELF rip ...JANE....e Poi da menzionare lo squisito lavorò di tastiere di JOHN HAWKEN, che ne usa Molte dall'organo Hammond pianoforte Mellotron moog e altri tipi di synths oltre alla celesta e al clavicembalo!!!!!!!! Insomma due albums ben suonati ben arrangiati piuttosto affascinanti!!!!!!!! Forse non da considerarli proprio capolavori, ma se uno li ha nella sua discografia personale..... Bèh!!!!!! Date retta...male NON ci STANNO!!!!!!!!!! Ah!!!!!! Dimenticavo...esiste anche un terzo album ....ENCHANTED CARESS credo formato da vari brani diciamo di archivio ed inediti.... Gradevole ma è anche il meno riuscito dei tre!!!!!!!!!!
