this! thank you! i have always felt off about diagramming because it always just confuses me and slows me down because it makes me doubt myself throughout the process
Totally!! I just finished a LR section and they have in fact created a question with the same initials! Imagine! VL- Vague laws and VL vague limits meaning 2 different things and totally essential for the LR question ( 36/12). They are doing it on purpose. Who needs that?
As someone who is struggling with the diagramming portion on the LSAT, I feel this technique of just being able to comprehend is much more effective. Which one of your videos would I be able to watch where you guys go in depth on this technique of comprehension rather than diagramming?
Yes, it is much more effective. At LSAT Demon, we don’t rely on tricks or gimmicks. Instead, we focus on reading slowly and carefully to fully understand the meaning of the words in front of us. The best way to see this in action is to create a free account here: lsatdemon.com/plans. From there, start practicing real LSAT questions. Each question includes video and written explanations from our amazing LSAT teachers, breaking down the passage using our intuitive approach.
Law is about language, not symbols written in equation form. I was taught diagramming from Blueprint and it never worked Felt like a Chem class and writing down chemical reactions or cancelling items on either side of equations as in math. (Blueprint still is a decent program).
What other videos did you watch to learn a different technique like this one? I am taking the blueprint course right now and feel exactly the same way and I will be taking the exam soon so I’m trying to find other ways to comprehend this.
@ when I was doing blueprint I didn’t know about the demon. So I thought Blueprint had it right. Diagramming was taught but it never worked for me. It slowed me down and via diagramming I lost sight of the actual argument. Demon stressed an intuitive understanding of LR arguments without diagramming so u actually understand the reasoning in an LR problem. Blueprint also explained the gaps between the premises and conclusion in a vague way. Like a table top that is supported by the legs which are the premises but they don’t quite get u there. Demon keeps it simple. Attack the argument. Why is it not convincing? What in your mind do u find weak or unconvincing about the argument. Don’t even look at the question until u have attacked the argument . Then when u look at the question u have already figured out what is wrong and the question is much easier to answer. And always predict an answer before even looking at the choices. Attack , then read the question, then predict. It’s that simple. I don’t think 7 Sage , Manhattan , Princeton Review keep it so simple and direct like demon does. Wait until u get to RC in Blueprint. It’s even more goofy . Demon attacks RC by keeping it real simple. I did look at RC Hero which has some tools but Demon’s RC approach keeps it direct, simple and intuitive without a lot gimmicks. The books Loophole and that very popular one by Michael Kim are a waste of time imo. I hope that helps I used Demon premium . I didn’t find the live necessary as the D approach and their drilling works so well

I appreciate this video. Taking an LSAT Prep course right now and my teacher has covered diagrams in class but it doesn't really help me.
Thanks for this video! I am not a visual learner and diagramming on LR has resulted in me having to take more time to solve the LR questions.
