Oh my goodness!!! My music teacher, who ran the school Jazz Band gave me a copy of this on tape, back in the late 80s. I must have listened to it hundreds of times.... I remember every word of the intros, every note... Even the solos.... 30 odd years later! Thanks so much for posting this!
Very nice to see these albums being uploaded to UA-cam - it was especially nice to hear this one again. Future stars in the line-up ("stars" in jazz terms re Barker, Bishop, Innes, also in pop terms re Juber, Kenyon). And some charts the band would revive often in years to come (the dreaded Marianne, of course, but also Legs Eleven, Wait & See and the one that sounds like Blue Monk gone a bit wrong...) PS: Is Mr Thomas going to upload either NYJO In Camra or the album they made for Charisma (those are my two faves)?
