I think Kanye should have been gently but firmly challenged at the time on what he understands it means to be born again and what scripture says. Again, I say - pray for his full surrender. And may He know how LOVED and sought after he is by Christ. I refuse to be offended with Him. My prayer will be that He continues to encounter people who LOVINGLY share the true gospel - which has the POWER to transform. Not those whom have a judgmental spirit and call it Christianity.

I'm a pastor today because someone preached the gospel to me. Years later that same guy was not walking with the Lord. I was definitely shocked but not moved. He was just the vessel God used and i pray that he came back to the Lord. Haven't seen or heard anything about him in years....

Rus… I’m battling a lot right now. I’m 22 and I’ve had a lot to process in my small experience of life. I’m in the military and I’ve been married for almost 2 years now and I’ve already experienced the birth of my child and after that the infidelity of my wife. Your content is the only thing keeping me grounded in Christ right now. I’ve relied on therapists and their prescribed drugs and alcohol to deal with the cards god had dealt me to get by. Honestly I’m lost. I need prayer and I feel like no pastor has had the wisdom or grace to bless me to move forward. Every day I think of ending myself. Please someone, anyone, I need guidance. I need somewhere to talk about my life in a biblical setting. Nobody in my family is a follower of Christ and I feel ostracized for my beliefs. This is a cry for help…
find a local church as quickly as possible and see if they have a ministry or know of a ministry for suicidal ideation or depression. Ask Jesus for help and guidance and to put the right people in your life. He will hear you.

Look to the Cross and see suffering as the road to glory.

That poor man, Kanye, needs our prayers. He was brought up in a wicked prosperity cult. So, his expectations of God were false, and unfortunately the spiritual guidance he was getting in his evangelical era was not successful in teaching him that God will not give him what he wanted when he wanted in a fashion acceptable to Kanye. God was working in and thru him, but Kanye still held rebellion in his heart and decided to cling to that rebellion rather than letting go and burying himself in God's loving embrace and instruction. Keep praying for him. It is a spiritual battle. You have to understand that enemy is not going to just roll over and let him go. Clearly there was many doors opened in his past life. But deliverance is a two-edged sword. When one demon leaves, he goes, fetches 7 more and come back. If he finds the house ungaurded he occupies together with the 7. There is hope for him yet!
His album Jesus is King gave me a lot of encouragement at the time of 2021. But now showing the would that he is not Christian I don’t listen to him anymore. I hope that he comes to understand the gospel and be saved.
There are four soils. It shouldn’t surprise us if somebody, even though they are very popular, lands on the wrong soil or has the word snatched up right away. Clearly somebody who claims to be God and is anti-Semitic doesn’t follow the Jesus of the Bible.

Unfortunately I have personally seen a handful of people coming out of the entertainment industry profess Christ then fall way back into hard and darker sin (seemingly 7 times worse) than before their temporary allegiance to Jesus
That has always been a reality, however, it still isn't the end. Continue to pray for those folks. My dad was one who backslid so badly and got so evil, perverted, hardened, etc., and he lost his family and health. Then many years later he finally got himself right with the Lord and a few years later he died. God is so gracious and longsuffering.
Were those people saved?I think there is a problem when people are taught things like “all you have to do is pray this prayer after me and now you’re a Christian”. It’s a man made gospel. The thing with celebrity is that it goes counter to the Bible. To say you’re saved but no change in thinking, speaking, lifestyle goes counter to scripture. Where is repentance, Godly sorrow, a change in attitude?

Kanye’s programming started to glitch and I think he started to see clearly only to have the enemy rope him back in. I feel like this happens so many times with musicians and actors. They have sold themselves or someone sold them for fame and it’s very hard to break out. Pray for him and that he is able to find freedom in Christ.
God is not a vending machine. We dont always get what we want. We may not understand it this side of heaven, but thats faith.
Kanye is just backsliding, but in the public eye. I’m not going to judge him for things that tons of other Christians do and say behind closed doors. Let’s pray he moves through this difficult time and comes back home to Christ (like many other Christians do).

There is no special equipping necessary, deliverance comes through receiving the word and allowing the Holy Spirit to work. The fact that Kanye is not delivered is a matter of salvation. After several years attending a church where the true Gospel was preached , God saved me. The pastor, later lost his focus on the Lord and threw his wife down the stairs. This pastor had written a book about his journey to Christ prior to this incident. Later, my unbelieving father pushed the book this pastor wrote into my face. I responded by telling him that that my faith is not in the pastor, but in Jesus Christ. My dad, just turned a put the book down.
