You two are just wonderful! Thank you for all of these updates you have performed to your coach. Looking forward to more videos of your travels this year.
Great update guys! So happy to see you back on the UA-cam videos. We get our 2019 Aspire on June 18th and we have so enjoyed seeing and learning from all your videos. Hope to see you out on the road one day. Our Aspire will also be based out of ATL NIRVC while I’m working overseas. Cheers.
Gerard Short: We have been very happy with our Aspire. We went from NIRVC to Colorado and back for the shakedown. It’s been back at NIRVC having the warranty items fixed that we found on the shakedown. 90% of the list are minor faults. Things like a USB port not working, loose towel rack etc. The most serious item is a fault with the dash gauges resetting suddenly that is a spartan item currently being addressed and has to do with the keyless start feature on the 2019. In the end we are very happy with the build quality of the coach. To say you will spend 100K, 500K or even buy a 2M dollar Prevost you will RV with a list of items needing fixed. It’s the RV life. The best advice is find a good brand, Entegra, Newmar and the like and purchase from a good dealer known for their service. Some dealers (MHSRV, Camping World, Lazy Days) are pretty bad or non existent for helping you after the sale. I strongly suggest Angie Morel at National Indoors RV. Would we buy our coach again? Absolutely, positively!!!!! We hit the road again this Monday. Also, it’s been in the shop this long only because we store it at NIRVC ATL and I have been overseas working this last month and a half. So they just worked on it as they had gaps in the service schedule. Otherwise we would’ve had about 2 shop days to fix and adjust everything.
Thought you might have gone to France for the summer as we had not heard from you! Good to have you back! We love Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach! We were at Pensacola Beach RV resort last week for a brief stay! Beautiful area!
Not sure where you are headed next, east or west. We are just east of Destin very close to the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Would love to host you for a great bottle of wine if you come close..
I really enjoy your videos. Very entertaining and great tips. Noticed you are now flat towing a Chevy SUV. I did not know they could be flat towed. Thank you!
I’m so very glad to see you guys! Where have you been or where have you not been!🚍😄 I absolutely love the very nice clever upgrades ( all of them ) I was just curious to know... If you guys ever consider trading your most beautiful coach in for another one? Although, I’m sure you must feel as though you have worked out all the issues at this point. So now you can really start to enjoy and appreciate the coach. But if you were to consider another coach, I’m just curious to know which manufacture would you lean toward. I really do value your knowledge and opinion. Thanks so much for sharing all your knowledge and adventures with us. You know I’m always looking forward for the next update! Cheers...and happy safe travels ahead...
Not sure if you will still be in Pensacola on Tue, however the Blue Angels normally practice on Tuesday mornings. If you are still there, this is a great opportunity. Go verify this weeks practice schedule on their website!
When I first read this I thought you must be talking about a local band, so that would be great. Then I googled "the blue angels" and then I realized they are the equivalent to the Red Arrows in the UK. Awesome
Great Video, The overhead lighting change on the 2019 is but one example of the cheaping of Entegras since Thor Ind bought them. They have done the same thing with the Jayco line as well. I am now looking at Newmar that are far better designed but do cost a lot more. They have things like lighting in all cupboards, pantries with pull-out drawers, and removable induction cooktop with covers. It would be great to buy something that has all these changes already done.
I did a factory tour of Tiffin and although their finished product looks good, Tiffin use much much thinner wood thickness on their floors (video to follow shortly) and the walls are vacuum bonded which is the same as Fleetwood. Not sure if that's better or not. I know that some walls that have the walls glued/ bonded this one can delaminate. Also, Tiffin factory has to be seen to be believed. There is crap and rubbish everywhere and they work as though it was some sort of race. The Tiffin paint shop is huge and very very impressive which is why they produce a great pint job on Tiffins. Entegra paint on the other hand is a bit hit and miss. Get a good one you'll be happy get a bad one and it looks at though it's been hand painted.
I can't wait for it. Have you done the Newmar tour? I believe it was RV Love who said that the RV factory tours in Indiana do not allow any recording or photography during the tour.
Good to here from you two. It's been some time. Hope your still enjoying it all and also it sounds like ya finally got all the major bugs out. Maybe with the ones you had they fixed over the last 3 years. Happy Trails from your Friend out West🚗🚗
Hi Jay, No nothing rattles in our RV when driving as this is one of my pet hates. We have plates that have a thin rubber band around the bottom that stop them rattling.
So you bought an Entegra. I am thinking about doing the same, presently trying to determine one that will fit into our budget. Do you have any regrets???
You guys did a great improvement video.. Glenn has become a LED wizard.. You better watch out Julia, your going to wake up one day and find that you can change colors.. LOL... Hope to see you back soon..
Hi Have recently found you videos my wife Sue and I have really enjoyed watching them, We have a 9.5 metre Morelo motorhome here in the UK, which we have had for six months, it has behaved itself so far(touch wood). We have ideas of moving out to Georgia or Florida and buying ourselves a 45 foot motorcoach from National Indoor (following your recommendation!). I currently hold a UK driving license that lets me drive up to 7.5 tonnes. What type of license would I need to drive a coach like yours?
Great video, love all the lighting. What brand of LED strip lights did you use, and does one remote control all the lights? Also, what switch did you use for the closet door lights to turn on? Great looking coach!
Hi Tobe, You can get the same LED as we used from our Amazon site: www.great-escape.us/amazon and you will also be able to find the magnetic door contacts there as well. There is a particular way to wire the door contacts when you are using 2 sets on the same door and I'll see if I can find it and post it on my Great-escape site for you.
The LED lighting is terrific. BUT, I have had no luck in finding a company that has the one control and will control multi zones like what you have. Love it so could you please let me know where to buy and product info. Very nice. Tnx
Actually it would be more convenient with only one controller needed and then select the zones if that is possible. Idea was to mount it as we enter door, one touch and all come on or off at different locations. Much better than remotes laying all over the coach :) Really enjoy your videos. Maybe you will get to Nashville sometime. I have owned a Real Estate company here for 37 years so time to semi retire and enjoy some RV'ing, Doctors orders !! :))
As a follow up, can you please post the information as to where you purchased the LED light system . A great appearance and we would love to do something similar but need product info contact...Thanks
Hi Herbert, It's only people buying other products that will make them listen, but all the time people are lining up to buy that will continue getting away with producing sub standard product.
Great Escape thanks for the comment. After our maiden trip for a long weekend only had a couple of very minor issues for our dealer to address. We will pick up our coach and give it a more robust adventure this weekend so we will see how well they did. We are hoping that any additional warranty work will be because of unforeseen issues with components and not poor workmanship. I'll report back if I'm overly optimistic or disappointed in something more major. I hoping for just good things to happen. So far we love our Renegade.
Hey Glenn and Julia, great job on all of you improvements on your Enterga, but I have a question. Does you Enterga's cooling fan blow sand and dirt up into your engine compartment and baggage bays, for my Fleetwood Providence is really bad about that. I was just curious if you have had that problem too.
LED's in the shower? Sounds like Glen has a little risque performing routine going on. The little quirk fixes are great and Entegra should think of hiring you all on as design consultants. Because your right, they seem to be leaving a lot out of their design on such a high end coach.
Rebel Lucy no I have seen all their problems over the years. I am very familiar with this brand. To bad when jayco bought out travel supreme they kept the same people who ran travel supreme into the ground. And now just call it entegra.
"If you've got a brown one . . . tough!" Said with just the right attitude. I've been enjoying your Great Escape videos since near the beginning but I've missed them for about six months. Don't know if you've been posting during that time but glad you're back. Where are we camping next? Yes, I have been subscribed for a year(?).
Sometimes it's difficult to produce so many videos. We don't want to make videos just for the sake of it so always try and make them with good content.
And they do have good content. This one gave me an idea for my steps. We've been using one of those wrap-around-made-for-RV steps with spring clips. It wrinkles and wears. I've decided to glue some good outdoor carpet material instead. When it wears out I'm capable of tearing it off and replacing it. Meanwhile I hope you both visit the Monterey Bay area and the giant redwood park near Felton.
You two are just wonderful! Thank you for all of these updates you have performed to your coach. Looking forward to more videos of your travels this year.
Well hopefully you won't have to wait too long
More are on the way

Just a short note to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. An admirer from Canada, on the colonies 😉
Thanks to your blogs, Entegra has made a lot of upgrades, such as the cover, lights in the cabinets and the lights over the bed.
Great to see you guys again especially the lovely Julia.
Great improvement's made Entegra should take note!
Keep the rubber on the road.
If they did listen to their owners that would produce a better coach. So no chance of that ever happening
Thought you might have gone to France for the summer as we had not heard from you! Good to have you back! We love Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach! We were at Pensacola Beach RV resort last week for a brief stay! Beautiful area!
Yes, we loved Pensacola and will be going back there for sure.
Not sure where you are headed next, east or west. We are just east of Destin very close to the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Would love to host you for a great bottle of wine if you come close..
Well finally, welcome back online. Love to see your maintenance and upgrades.
They make such a difference.
I really enjoy your videos. Very entertaining and great tips. Noticed you are now flat towing a Chevy SUV. I did not know they could be flat towed. Thank you!
Hi Hugh, thanks for watching the videos. We have never owned a Chevy. We flat tow a GMC Arcadia.
So glad to hear from you guys again. Julia made an awesome video. Maybe you could play us a song on your guitar Glenn.

Roy Davis Newmar and Tiffin seem to be better built. Check out Outside our Bubble channel. Good info why he chose Tiffin over the Entegra.
And both companies are family owned too. Says a lot.

Hi Ron, yep no problems with the RV at all now since I stopped taking it to Entegra in Middlebury
Glen you got to love the LEDs 😎Quick question for you do your dishes rattle around in your pantry
Hi Jay, No nothing rattles in our RV when driving as this is one of my pet hates. We have plates that have a thin rubber band around the bottom that stop them rattling.
Great updates mate, brilliant. Love what you've done.
Cheers for that
great wonderful, outstanding upgrades!

Excellent commentary. What is her name?
Can you please tell me where you got that ottoman from a couple of years ago. It raises up. 🙏 love your videos.
The ottoman came with the RV but didn't have wheels on or lifted up. We made those changes.
As a follow up, can you please post the information as to where you purchased the LED light system . A great appearance and we would love to do something similar but need product info contact...Thanks
you can get any product we have featured from this link: www.great-escape.us/amazon
Love your videos. I must say that because of your issues with Entegra I bought a 2019 Renegade. Sorry Entegra . Anyway, keep those fine videos coming.

Wonder if I could know or see some details of your electro magnetic solution for the noisy vent flap?
Did you all get the step fixed? If so, any problems now?

How do I go about purchasing a cover for my birthday induction cooktop?
I would also like to know where to purchase a cooktop
I would worry about the drawer sliding open due to inertia going around a sharp corner.
Wow u guys have a nice RV. Cook top above microwave, nice engineering job Entegra.
They are clueless.
Duane Yoder You must be new to this channel. That RV has had its share of issues.
Rebel Lucy no I have seen all their problems over the years. I am very familiar with this brand. To bad when jayco bought out travel supreme they kept the same people who ran travel supreme into the ground. And now just call it entegra.
Dandy improvements for sure!!
More to come to James, hang in there.

Wait.... You mean Glenn has room to hang his clothes in the closet!? How did that happen? I get 2 drawers and the basement.
I get two drawers as well !!
nice RV
Julia reminds me of Emma Thompson. 😉
She'll be very happy to hear that.
Alright! Viagra upgrades and improvements! Oh, wait... Entegra... never mind... sorry... ;-P
