Thanks for having me! 😊

Hope to see you here in Malaysia!!!
We love your content! 🤍
My daughter loves uncle roger!!! And she talks exactly like uncle roger now
Uncle Roger, come to Canada!! Love your videos 😊
Malaysians love other Malaysians. So long that person is born in Malaysian... All Malaysian will support!! True fact!
Indeed
Yes bro we love Najib best Malaysian💪💪😳😳
We watch all the ads
nah mate we only love malaysians who are famous
Ave Lye hahaha! Only if u famous.
Two Malaysian icons in one video! Is gold. Period.
Yeah, and both showing their gold play button in the video.
**Periodt (lol)
For those who slams vernacular schools and Chinese Independent Schools. Nigel Ng went to both and he is making Malaysian proud now. Way better than those who went to elite schools but ended up burukkan nama Negara
when he said "agak2", my heart just skipped a beat. truly Asian thang!
49:12 for those who want to hear
to be specific, truly Malaysian.! agak2 in cooking is a perfect measurement ... hahaha
Not really asian, more like malaysian
he's perfect: he's intelligent, funny, hard-working, sexy AND humble!!
Simp
@@nightraider5100 lol let him or her simp man it doesn’t even affect you
Also if you guys don't know he was previously married but got divorced and Uncle Roger was a character his podcast co-host made up
The little girl is adorable. She needs her own show.
Agak-agak. So Malaysian. BTW, it's motivating to see a star student deviating from the conventional path and making a name for himself.
timestamp plisss

Can we have *Uncle Roger's Dad* as the next guest? Would be great to see the original Uncle Roger 😉😉😉
The 'Malaysian Boleh' at the end really warms the cockle of my heart. Never been so proud as a Malaysian before. =D
Sneakysushi?
@@TheZalehra Thumbs up man XD
@@amj3497 👍🏻🤣🤣
"The cockle of my heart?"
Heyhey is that a Jamus Lim reference there
This is aunty Maziah ... love uncle Roger so much .. you take care .. stay positive stay healthy and always keep 'Malaysia Boleh ' where ever .. when ever .. and in what ever you do .. all the best of luck in whatever you do 💕🐈💕
*Uncle roger is the MSG of nigel ng*
Wow he played uncle Roger's character really well, and it's nice to see the real him here, so humble. And good looking too. He looks like one of those sleepyhead in class, but turns out to be the smart one. Dalam kelas tidur je tapi bila ujian tiba2 markah dia paling tinggi hahaha
Here's an idea, i think it would be great if there's a writer or a director somewhere out there start writing a sitcom or series with uncle Roger as the main character, delivering punch lines yet every episode has its own lesson to tell. Sign Nigel Ng up for the role. It'll be like having our own phua chu kang, the show many of us grew up with. I'd watch it on television every night. Pity we don't have any english sitcom series anymore like we had back then with Kopitiam. Anyhow i wish all the best to Nigel Ng, Malaysia boleh! 💕
Great idea!! I used to watch kopitiam, Baba nyonya & phua Chu Kang back in the days! So nostalgic. ❤️❤️
Two Uncle Arguing
2 of the most talented Malaysian .Salute to both of you and please continue to do what you guys do best and make us proud in the eye of the world. We badly needed that now.
We nid a collaboration of Uncle Roger and Auntie Siow!!!!
OMG this is right I gonna love this collaboration!!! Hahahaha
This Podcast is nice. What Jinnyboy saying about Uncle Roger is bringing our Malaysian culture to the international level is truly touching.!!!
I never no this guy until uncle roger blew up, my instinct at first, this dude must be Singaporean or Malaysian.. because the dialect uncle roger use sound very familiar.. in Malaysia, as Malaysia proud of u bro and all the best...
This dialect also my curry laksa hawker man in SG. Very comfortable.
i went to chong hwa high school and my SPM is like i am no 1 out of 700 ppl ..i think i doing OK ..WOW CLASSIC
What is the timestamp for that .. not going to watch 1 hr worth
@@vtn08 22:39 :)
Uncle Roger is huge here in Vancouver, Canada also!
When I first watched uncle roger reaction video on bbc fried rice, followed by his reaction videos on Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay, I tot he’s one of those you tubers trying very hard to use these high profiles to create his own fame, but his points r so spot on , that I kept watching his other videos and found that this guy is a legend of his own. He can literally make every normal conversation or topic into light hearted comedy so naturally. Only shortfall is there is too few videos of his work and too many reaction videos to his reaction videos 😂
Check library now, he added more.
that kiddo saying haiyaa melts me omg 🥰🥰🥰
There are two famous Malaysian born comedians at overseas now : Uncle Roger and Ronnie Chieng ..
Thank you! Been waiting for this!!
Wasn't familiar with "Daddy Roger" until now. And now that I've seen Nigel's six pack I feel even more inspired to hit the (home) gym
I can hear Uncle Roger talking as a radio DJ as long as he wants.. 👏👏👍
Thank you for doing this interview.
damn, im a malay and i really love this podcast. i can relate every single thing. nice job uncle roger. tq for bringing malaysia name. keep doing what you doing.
Almost 1am here in Malaysia.. Just checking my phone..start to sleep.. Open youtube..this video in my recommendation.. And here.. 2am..still watching.. Nice video n interview.. Such a humble and down to earth nigel.. Hope u can go higher.. N proudly introducing Malaysia...
What a wonderful interview! I'm a fan in North Carolina & just got an orange polo shirt. Looking forward to more fun from you guys!
That moment when Nigel say "agak-agak". Gosh!
Wait. Nigel is 29? Dear lord... We are so close in age and what even am I doiiiiing?!
Same😂
All i need to hear, omg thank u for made this
Well done Nigel. I spent 15 years in your country. I loved it. I know your school and culture. Wonderful to hear your experiences. 🥰🥰 All the very best.
So inspiring! Keep it up Nigel!
Freaking huge respect for this guy. Such a smart, funny and wise guy. His vibe reminds me of another huge HUGE youtuber. Hope he finds more success.
Haiya why intro song so long
could finish a whole math exercise during that time
song was dope tho
@@activegrass9435 i loved how nerdy that comment was.
As an Indonesian, I envy Malaysians for their ability to speak English so fluently
Nigel is the only Malaysian that lives in UK so long if one day he returns to Malaysia he still wouldn't have that fake British accent so many Malaysians somehow acquire after studying in UK half the time Nigel spends there
Objection. That accent is valid.
Nigel studied and worked in the US
@@TheGarryq he still sounds pretty Malaysian to me anyways
@@hansared8668 lol valid until 2021
@@yupme5020 banana here. Let me fightchu! :D
( The Malaysian accent wasn't a thing growing up here. We had a collection of accents. It is only after the smart phone and Internet revolution that we have a malaysian accent. At least from my point of view.)
Uncle Roger is a true Malaysian
Uncle Ajinomoto in the flesh.
Proud of Uncle Roger though, he bring us Malaysian to another level of fun!🥳
Thanks for sharing this mamak session Jinnyboi!☺️
Haiyaaaaaaaaaaa😂😂😂😂
he licks CCP backside...you proud of him now?
lol what a coincidence both have their youtube plaques in the background
Yep I realized that too 😂
Mr Nigel is not banana, he knows how to speak mandarin.
Some more he get the first out of 700 student in high school.
A prove that good kids have good future.
When the Pandemic allows, a Nigel Ng/Uncle Roger All Asia Concert Tour will be huge.
i'm really enjoy this podcast and nigel ng so humble
OMGoodness, I thought Uncle Roger was REAL! He's played with such ACCURACY! We all have that one relative who has no tact, no edit button and is just sooooooo hilarious! 😂😁
Haiyaaaa.. You really dont know
Yes! Uncle Roger reminds me to normal uncles (weirdly we call them here as...'father', not own father as in not every uncles are blood related. In my place, uncle is usually for those who are younger than 'father', and father is for those around Uncle Roger's age, 40-ish?). And eventho I am annoyed with those people (they are not hilarious in any way), I can't help but keep watching and feel annoyed haha
FUIYOH!! Also, Jinny should try cook fried rice for Uncle Roger to review
The "no lah" hits close to home 😆
Siyes best giler tengok video uncle roger dah 3 kali tengok pun still kelakar...lawak dia byk yg tak dijangka lawak giler
Kansas, USA Nigel you are so very entertaining!

Anyone else found Uncle Roger on UA-cam when he was just Nigel Ng? I saw him on UA-cam when his channel was just with 7k subscribers. And he's hotter in white!!!
I actually saw his video with mark odea where he made fun of how british food is tasteless before, but I didnt know that it was him
oh ya, I noticed him through his Rice to Meet you podcast, pretty good content actually though not comedy
Its my first time listening, watching a full podcast and its awesome. Jin is a very good host and Nigel story's is very inspiring. Kudos to both of u #agakagak #malaysiaboleh
I was waiting for this to happen
Aye finally. Saw this on jtv ig post. Go uncle roger go!
As a white guy, i hereby give you permission to make fun of us Roger.
So wonderful to see 2 great creative guys together and for Jinny to do this interview with Nigel. We get to know Uncle Roger better. 😁😉. We can see the hard work behind the scenes. " I am not a celebrity" shows how down to earth both of these great guys and the hard work they do. 😊👍
Hope I can see Jinnyboy collab with Nigel Ng in one video
so cute lah Nigel, still so Malaysian when chatting with Jinnyboy :)
He's proudly Malaysian
I first saw Nigel on Comedy Central on Astro. Funny!
they both my fav..
I'm from Hawaii... part Hawaiian and part Filipino... living in US in Utah... get mistaken for Mexican due to being brown skinned and I guess the way I look mexican... I tell these people that "I am a... HAlipino". I have become a fan of Uncle Roger...
Uncle roger pls collab with aunty siow
That 'malaysia boleh' in the end, gosh nigel ng is so humble !!!

Really enjoyed this podcast ! So grateful that we finally have someone who can bring our culture to the international stage !
Felt a bit nostalgic when he talked about having tests everyday two days too haha (went to the same school as him)
Keep on the great work Nigel senpai and Jinny !
My gadddd!!! Uncle Roger so down to earth and genuine! I love the content of this session so much!!! =)))
Can someone explain to me what Mamak means. I have been watching the podcasts frequently but still don't know what it means 😅
(PS: i know I'm a noob)
mamak mean mother or mom
Mamak is the typical Muslim Indian restaurant in Malaysia, we love ti catch up with our buddies to talk shiit and just being local. Its a chill out place with friends.
Although Uncle Roger's accent does come across to me as a Hongkie accent rather than Apek Petaling Jaya... but I guess that would be more familiar to western ears..
I always love nigel laugh...like uncle2..hahahaha
8:44 omg Jalan Ipoh?! TIL I grew up in the same area as Uncle Roger 😲😲
I love hearing accents of people from every place in the world. I've heard my voice but I have recorded talking and singing and I don't care for my voice LOL and to hear you speak with or without your fake accent you speak very well and I enjoy it as well as your friend here.
yea, it is so iconic , Imust spend 50 mins to listen to this podcast
nigel i wanna listen to you speaking in msia accent moreeeee
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG jinny i want to meet himmmmmmmmm
My co workers also knows uncle Roger..our fav uncle of 2020
Wow 全级第一, uncle roger dat smart😯
I used to hv Hongkie friends during my student days in UK who wd speak English with that accent. Malaysian Chinese English accent on the other hand is similar to Singapore's.
Uncle Rogers, looking forward to your great future into Holywood stardom, you will be the next Michele Yeoh, that I'm sure. Keep Malaysia flg flying high n proud, bro.
Can "Uncle Roger" turn into a sitcom similar to "Mr Bean"??? hehehe... Nigel you might just become the next billionaire like Rowen or SG phua chu kang. hehehee
Oh my God! Oh my God! YES! Post pandemic content!
WAHHH 😳👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing podcast, but the outro is abit loud. Is better that can be smaller in volume so that u can listen to what u and the interviewee said
Uncle Roger : "I was ok with studies"
me : typical xueba answer.
Uncle Roger : "Top 1 out 700 students for SPM" * partially translated from mandarin...hahaha
me : i knew it!!!
What is SPM?
@@MsMistersimple The Standard Progressive Matrices (SPM) is a group or individually administered test that nonverbally assesses intelligence in children and adults through abstract reasoning tasks.
@@MsMistersimple Its basically an exam in malaysia that students take at the end of secondary school, equivalent to O-levels and SATs
@@MsMistersimple very important exam which determines which path we will be offered or choose for our pre university programme at the end of the secondary school.
SPM actually stands for "Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia" in our national language Bahasa Malaysia, or the Malaysian Certificate of Education in English.
Uncle Roger is the type of person where working under pressure is his business!
That huge passion for rice cooker..yasss! Exactly how I feel..finally someone said it uugghh
