  • This video begins along I-278, the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, at night right after the Brooklyn-Battery/Hugh L. Carey Tunnel exit and concludes just before the Kosciuszko Bridge in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The BQE, as it's locally referred to as, is one of NYC's most infamous highways. It suffers from chronic congestion and mid-20th century designs that are now antiquated and no longer meet the needs for the city's residents. However, it is a highway full of history, and one that you will only find in New York. Along the way, you'll see portions of the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the dense urban neighborhoods that the BQE snakes through.

Great job as always but even more impressive is that you were able to make an entertaining video in that traffic, outstanding!

I sat in traffic more times on the BQE than I care to discuss here, lol. Seriously, you made this video fun to watch, despite some of the traffic woes you encountered. Absolutely love seeing those views of the Manhattan skyline, and the bridges feeding into and out it. Big thumbs up! By the way, didn't realize you had released this video in September.

I like that video ! I know BQE is a congested highway, but the Boulevard Périphérique in Paris (its inner ring) is also congested and that's worse !

Hello. In your old Miami video you did when driving down Ocean Drive what effect did you use to get those colour flashes?
    Many thanks.

Good video. As a suggestion 4 ur next vid, u might want 2 use Pompeii by Bastille as the music. U know like how u used "Cherry Wine (Explicit)" for this vid.

DC beltway is just as terrible but has 6 lanes. It took me 3 hours to go only 4 miles.

what happened to updating the road networks of new york city? is bloomberg keeping that money to himself or for saving up the biggest infrastructure update for new york city since the interstate system was born in the 50s and 60s
