This has to be my favorite interview from Ray. Humble cool guy. Like to see him calm really having conversation. Had some gems in this interview.
This is a great interview! Ray J is right about the R&B game. Everyone is in their own world. Neo, Trey, CB, Mario, The Weekend. they all can't be compared. He's right about adding a little dirt in music, but everyone is different. R&B music on love isn't what folks are feeling. I do feel that music should reflect on the artist's life experiences at this point. It is good to have him gain perspectives on his music, reality shows, business and his lived experiences. I enjoyed him speaking about single choices from his This Ain't A Game era too. It makes sense now to why he did the Network. "I have a MF MLK stream". Ratchet is a guilty pleasure - folks will subscribe regardless.
It’s the Brandy! Brandy! Brandy! For me. As it should be. He knows her work ethic and he knows what them Vocals do. I would like to see him and Brandy go on tour. They know how to keep it about the business. Monica be in her feelings too much for me.
